Richard Stubenrauch

LAKE WYLIE - Mr. Richard A. Stubenrauch, 55, of 4 Sunrise Point Road died Saturday, March 28, 1998, at home.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at River Hills Community Church in Lake Wylie, with Father John Giuliani officiating.

Mr. Stubenrauch was co-owner of Lapco Industries Inc. and Technalap Inc. of New Jersey and South Carolina. He was a past president of the Hawthorne Jaycees and Hawthorne Lions Club in Hawthorne, N.J. He was an active member of the River Hills Lions Club and St. Philip Neri Church in Fort Mill, where he was on the finance/building committee.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Stubenrauch of the home; his son, Thomas Stubenrauch of the home; his daughter, Sandra Stubenrauch of the home; his mother, Dorothy Stubenrauch of Wyckoff, N.J.; his brother, Kenneth Stubenrauch of Glastonbury, Conn.; and his sister, Janet Bantz of Danville, Calif.

The family will receive friends at the home, 4 Sunrise Point Road, after the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Community, P.O. Box 3414, Fort Mill, SC 29715.

M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Roy Broome

ROCK HILL - Mr. Roy Elliott Broome, 77, of 842 S. Cherry Road died Monday, March 30, 1998.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at West End Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Lowery officiating. Burial will be at Laurelwood Cemetery.

A member of West End Baptist Church, Mr. Broome worked at Rock Hill Printing & Finishing Co. for 28 years in the packing department.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Kathleen Lockridge Broome of Rock Hill; his son, Norris E. Broome of Rock Hill; three daughters, Wanda Carol Ray of Rock Hill, Rita Ann Hinson and Mary Teresa Lucas, both of Great Falls; his brother John L. Broome of Rock Hill; his sister, Minnie Shugart of Rock Hill; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Greene Funeral Home, and at other times at the home.

Memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church building fund, 1727 McConnells Highway, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

Vickey Duncan

CATAWBA - Mrs. Vickey Ann Evans Duncan, 35, of 612 Will Jones Circle died Monday, March 30, 1998.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Wright Funeral Home in York. Burial will be at Uniondale Cemetery.

Surviving are her son, James Franklin Evans of Lancaster; two daughters, Sophia Lopez of Catawba and Jannie Mildred Evans of Lancaster; her father, James Evans of Lancaster; her mother, Jannie Mildred Evans of the home; her brother, James Anthony Evans of Atlanta; five sisters, Gail Robinson of Tampa, Fla., Dale Williams of Long Beach, Calif.; Janice Canty of Catawba, and Amy Evans and Christle Evans, both of San Clemente, Calif.

Lena Gable

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Lena Mae McKellar Gable, 97, of 3660 Howell Road died Sunday, March 29, 1998, at her home.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Chester Memorial Gardens, with Brother Anthony Peoples officiating.

Mrs. Gable was retired from Springs Industries. She was a native of Lincoln County, Ga., and a member of the Rock Hill congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving are two sons, Marvin Gable of Lowrys and the Rev. James Gable of Tirzah; three daughters, Zelma Hill of Rock Hill, Deannie Brown of Union and Mae Keas of Raleigh, N.C.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Wright's Home for Funerals in Chester.

Memorials can be made to Hospice Community Care, 325 S. Oakland Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Ann Henson

GREAT FALLS - Mrs. Ann Williams Henson, 58, of 2-A Church St. died Sunday, March 29, 1998, at Chester County Hospital.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Second Baptist Church, with Dr. Todd Morris and the Rev. Gary Lockee officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Henson was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church. She attended Great Falls schools.

Surviving are her daughter, Debbie Godbee of Great Falls; two sons, Bobby Walden and Ray Henson, both of Great Falls; her sister, Brenda Henson of Great Falls; her brother, Roger Williams of Great Falls; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.

Emily Martin

YORK - Mrs. Emily Fewell Martin, 89, of 1045 N. Shiloh Road died Monday, March 30, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Beth Shiloh Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Thomas McPhail officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and retired teacher. She was a member of the Rainbow Garden Club and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was a lifetime member of Presbyterian Women. A native of York, she was a graduate of York High School and Erskine College.

Surviving are her husband, James Thomas "Tom" Martin; two sons, George Edward Martin of the home and James Thomas "Tommy" Martin Jr. of York; her daughter, Ann M. Barnwell of York; and her sister, Kathleen Hogue of Rock Hill; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at home.

York Funeral Home is in charge.

Geneva McDonald

BLACKSTOCK - Mrs. Geneva Moore McDonald, 82, died Monday, March 30, 1998, at C.M. Tucker Center in Columbia.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hebron Presbyterian Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Denley Caughman officiating.

Mrs. McDonald was formerly employed as a lunch room attendant in Great Falls schools and was a caretaker for the elderly. She was a member of Hebron Presbyterian Church

Surviving are her son, David Marion McDonald of Blackstock; two daughters, Betty Ann Livingston of Marion and Catherine Irene Minors of Hendersonville, N.C.; two sisters, Kathleen Cash of Cowpens and Stella Pearl Warren of Valdosta, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hebron Church cemetery fund, Route 1, Box 152-A, Blackstock, SC 29014 or Thornwell Home, P.O. Box 60, Clinton, SC 29325.

Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home is in charge.
