Say Ung

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Say Ngang Ung, 70, of 1076 Chandler Drive died Friday, May 1, 1998, at her home.

The funeral will be 9 a.m. Wednesday at Cauthen Funeral Home, with Rev. Som Sak officiating. Burial will be at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.

A native of Cambodia, Mrs. Ung was retired and a homemaker. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Eang Y. Chan and Hout Y. Chan, both of Rock Hill; her daughter, Horng Chan of Asheboro, N.C.; her mother, Nay Chheng Young of Cambodia; two brothers, Khheng Meng Ung and Sive Meng Ung, both of Cambodia; two sisters, Say Chlou Ung and Say Mouy Ung, both of Cambodia; and eight grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Cauthen Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1076 Chandler Drive.

Jack Wilson

CHESTER - Mr. Jack Wilson, 63, of 846 Briarcliff Circle died Saturday, May 2, 1998, at his home.

The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Chip Snead and the Rev. Dwight Pearson officiating. Burial will be at Chester Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Wilson was born in Collinsville, Miss., and was retired from AT&T. He was a Marine Corps veteran and attended Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Verma Dean Wilson; his son, Jackie Wilson of Chester; his daughter, Tammy Wilson of Chester; his brother, William L. Wilson of Collinsville, Miss.; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Barron Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 651 Great Falls Hwy., Chester, SC 29706.

Michael Burns

HICKORY, N.C. - Mr. Michael Earl Burns, 28, of Opal Creek Drive, Conover, N.C., died Thursday, April 23, 1998, at Chester County Hospital.

A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Bethlehem Christian Church cemetery in Altamahaw, N.C., with the Rev. James Rosser officiating.

Born in Elizabethton, Tenn., Mr. Burns worked as a cable technician for a cable television company. He was a former Appalachian State University student and served six years in the National Guard in South Carolina.

He was a member of the Valdese Church of God.

Surviving are his wife, Michelle Denise Wagoner Burns; his parents, Earl Lee and Nancy Elizabeth Johnson Burns of Conover, N.C.; his sister, Joanne Burns Abee of Valdese, N.C.; two brothers, Edward Burns of Conover, N.C., and Christopher Burns of Madison, Ala.; and his paternal grandmother, Mae Burns of Hickory, N.C.

The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Monday at the church.

William Cameron

CHESTER - Mr. William Hennies Cameron, 70, of 2407 Douglas School Road died Saturday, April 25, 1998, at Dorn V.A. Medical Center in Columbia.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Woodward Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Mullis officiating and Rev. Tommy Roper assisting. Burial will be at Chester Memorial Gardens. The Blackstock Masonic Lodge will conduct Masonic graveside rites.

Born in Chester County, Mr. Cameron was a member of Woodward Baptist Church. He was a district supervisor for Ruth's Salads Co. for 30 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of Blackstock Masonic Lodge and the Kerbela Shrine Temple of Morristown, Tenn.

Surviving are his wife, Inez McKeown Cameron; three sons, Malcolm H. Cameron and James E. "Jimmy" Cameron, both of Chester, and F. Pierce Cameron of Orangeburg; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Wright's Home for Funerals.

Josephine Campone

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Josephine Helen Alexander Campone, 76, of Rock Hill died Saturday, April 25, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at Whitesell-Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.

Born in Jersey City, N.J., Mrs. Campone was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas Campone; two sons, Thomas Campone Jr. of Deltona, Fla., and Frank Campone of Rock Hill; two daughters, Donna Robinholt of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and JoAnn Puccio of Rock Hill; her brother, James Alexander of Pelham, N.Y.; three sisters, Mary Cestone of New Rochelle, N.Y., Frances D'Andrea of Pelham, N.Y., and Rosemarie Suczi of CossCobb, Conn.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Whitesell-Wolfe Funeral Home.

Maggie Crouch

CHESTER - Mrs. Maggie Love Crouch, 91, formerly of 549 Fourth St., died Saturday, April 25, 1998, at Chester County Hospital.

The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Saluda Street Church of God, with the Revs. Dennis Reid and Hubert Orvin officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church cemetery.

Born in Chester, Mrs. Crouch was retired from Springs Industries. She attended Chester County public schools and was a member of Saluda Street Church of God.

She was the widow of Thomas Odell Crouch.

Surviving are her son, Billy Crouch of Chester; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Barron Funeral Home.

Patricia Haines

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Patricia Donnelly Haines, 54, of 4094 Linda Drive died Saturday, April 25, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Haines was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a teacher and a nurse for many years.

Surviving are her husband, Daniel Haines.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Bass Funeral Home.

Bass Funeral Home is in charge.
