Eula Lee

CHESTER - Miss Eula Marion Lee, 87, formerly of Armenia Road died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998, at Chester County Nursing Center.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Armenia United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mary Kearse officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Miss Lee was a homemaker. She was a member of Armenia United Methodist Church and a graduate of Chester High School.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, included Nancy G. Raines of Chester, with whom she lived.

The family will receive friends in the church social hall after the service and at other times at the home of Nancy and Wayne Raines, 1030 Davis Drive, Chester.

Barron Funeral Home is in charge.

Jane Street

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Jane F. Blackburn Street of 644 Blake St. died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Jennings. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Street was a native of Montreal, Canada. She attended the public schools of Canada and was the widow of Robert James Street Sr.

Surviving are two sons, Robert Street Jr. and Edward Street, both of Rock Hill; two daughters, Mary Street and Helen Street, both of Rock Hill; her brother, James Blackburn of Boston; two sisters, Isabelle Blackburn and Brenda Blackburn, both of Boston; and seven grandchildren.

The body may be viewed from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Robinson Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at home.

Howard Todd Sr.

LANCASTER - Mr. Howard Paul Todd Sr., 53, of 1787 Hillside Drive died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Charles Hendricks officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mr. Todd was retired from Lance Corp. as a driver. He was a Mason with Hart Masonic Lodge 380 and served in the U.S. Army.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Christmas Todd of the home; two sons, Howard Paul Todd Jr. and Tim Todd, both of Lancaster; two brothers, Leroy Todd of Lancaster and Luther Todd of Marion; his sister, Girldeen Christmas of Lancaster; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Hartley Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1138 10th St., Lancaster, SC 29720.

Lottie Turner

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Lottie Bell Teaster Turner, 84, formerly of York, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at York Funeral Home, with the Rev. Todd Reynolds officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Turner was a retired spinner and homemaker. She was the widow of James Palmer Turner.

Surviving are her son, James P. Turner of Filbert; two daughters, Barbara T. Propst and Gloria Jayne Dover, both of York; two sisters, Ida Hudgins of York and Beatrice White of Clover; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. at York Funeral Home.

Marion Aiken

LANCASTER - Mr. Marion Howard Aiken, 75, of 2622 Knotty Pine Road died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Cauthen Funeral Home.

Mr. Aiken was a member of Lynnwood United Methodist Church. He was retired from NAPA Auto Parts store.

Memorials may be made to Lynnwood United Methodist Church, 1753 Lynnwood Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.

The family will receive friends at home.

Lynn Barr

YORK - Mr. Howard Lynn "Sonny" Barr, 61, of 2390 Will Road died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethel United Methodist Church in Rock Hill, with the Rev. R. Lewis Bozard Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mr. Barr was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. He was retired from the city of Rock Hill. He was a member of the Rock Hill Moose Lodge No. 1720 for more than 35 years. He served in the Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion Frank Roach Post 34.

Surviving are his wife, Rebecca Demby Barr; and two daughters, Janice Bishop and Dina Grant, both of Rock Hill.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Janice Bishop, 875 S. Cherry Road, Rock Hill.

Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 1223 Curtis St., Rock Hill, SC 29730 or to Hospice Community Care, 325 S. Oakland Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Charles Burger Sr.

FORT MILL - Mr. Charles E. Burger Sr., 68, of 1800 Dam Road died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1998, at home.

A memorial service will be 7 tonight at The Lighthouse, with the Rev. Bob Costner officiating.

Mr. Burger was a veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife, Janice Burger; two sons, Charles Burger Jr. and Steven Burger, both of New York; four daughters, Kathleen Morley and Debra Burger, both of New York, Rebecca McFarlin of Florida and Beth Kipp of Fort Mill; two brothers, Robert Burger of Midland, Mich., and Jack Denton of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; two sisters, Lucille Chaffee of Mount Pleasant, Mich., and Peg Diehl of Largo, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
