William Wright
ROCK HILL - Mr. William R. Wright of 561 Trexler Lane died Sunday, Feb. 15, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Greene Funeral Home is in charge.

Iris Eggleton
LANCASTER - Mrs. Iris Cox Eggleton, 84, of 400 W. Meeting St. died Saturday, Jan. 31, 1998, at home.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Westside Cemetery, with the Rev. Dr. Steve Morgan officiating.
A Pitt County, N.C., native, Mrs. Eggleton was the retired co-owner and operator of the Cox's 5 and 10 cent store for more than 40 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the WSCS and the Evelyn Badley Sunday school class. She also was a member of DAR, Evening Garden Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was the widow of Harvey Daily Eggleton.
Surviving are her son, Harvey "Tommy" Eggleton of Lancaster; her brother, Thomas E. Cox of Greenwood; her grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Mahaffey Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Taylor Greene
YORK - Mr. Taylor Suel Greene, 88, of 2711 S.C. 161 died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, N.C.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover, with the Rev. David Davis officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York.
Mr. Greene was a retired merchant. He was the widower of Mary Ruth Cash Greene.
Surviving are two sons, William Richard Greene and Daniel Martin Greene, both of York; his daughter, Flora G. Saunders of Charlotte; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home in Clover.
Memorials may be made to the Clover Rescue Squad, P.O. Box, 214, Clover, SC 29710, or to the charity of one's choice.

Howard Hartley
LANCASTER - Mr. Howard Hartley, 87, of 352 Brooklyn Ave. died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, at Springs Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Huey Mills officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.
A native of Andrews, Mr. Hartley was a member of Fellowship Bible Church and was retired from Springs Industries.
Surviving are his wife, Eva Adams Hartley of Lancaster; and a sister, Florence Hartley of Lancaster.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Bible Church, 1850 Kershaw-Camden Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.

Irma Hicklin
RICHBURG - Mrs. Irma Pressley Hicklin, 96, of East Lancaster Street in Richburg died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill.
A graveside service will be 4 p.m. today at Union Cemetery in Richburg, with the Rev. Fant Steele officiating.
Mrs. Hicklin was a Chester native. She was retired from the Lewisville High School cafeteria, and was a member of Richburg Presbyterian Church. She attended Chester County Schools and graduated from Linwood College.
Surviving are her daughter, Jean H. Nichols of Richburg; and her sister, Lucille P. Myrick of Columbia.
Memorials may be made to the Richburg Fire Department, P.O. Box 64, Richburg, SC 29729.

Gertrude Hurst
CLOVER - Mrs. Gertrude Childers Hurst, 79, of 101 Stonegate Drive died Sunday, Feb. 1, 1998, at home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Clover, with the Rev. David Stanford officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Hurst was a member of Clover First Baptist Church for more than 50 years, and was retired from Homelite in Gastonia, N.C. She was the widow of Willis Derrick Hurst Sr.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 tonight at the home of Will and Lazette Hurst, 205 Kings Mountain St. in Clover.

Etta Brasington
GREAT FALLS - Mrs. Etta Deese Brasington, 80, of 16 Seaboard St. died Monday, June 29, 1998, at Providence Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Second Baptist Church, with the Rev. Doug Irvin officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Brasington was a homemaker. She was the widow of William V. Brasington.
Surviving are two sons, William L. Brasington of Great Falls and John M. Brasington of Charlotte; four daughters, Mary Stevenson of Great Falls, Betty O'Donnell of Camden, Ruth Morrow of Lugoff and Sara Paul of Charlotte; 19 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.

Randy Ervin
BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. - Mr. Randy Blease Ervin, 36, of 2 Hilltop Drive died Monday, June 27, 1998, in Huntington, W.Va.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Clover, with the Rev. Marvin Carson officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
Mr. Ervin was a native of York County.
Surviving are his wife, Lee Ervin; his son, Caleb Bolice Ervin of Cattlesburg, Ky.; his father, Coley Blease Ervin Jr. of Clover; four brothers, Ricky Ervin of Gastonia, N.C., Ronnie Ervin, Robby Ervin and Reggie Ervin, all of Clover; and two sisters, Ruth E. Herring and Roxie Jan Ervin, both of Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home.

Nellie Price
KERSHAW - Mrs. Nellie Mae Hopkins Price, 82, of 6124 Old Lancaster Highway died Monday, June 29, 1998, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Trent McLaughlin officiating. Burial will be at Kershaw City Cemetery.
Mrs. Price was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are four sons, George Price of Concord, N.C., Johnny Price, Jerry "BoPete" Price and Tony Price, all of Kershaw; four daughters, Wilma Gregory of York, Sharon Jetton of Tampa, Fla., Shirley DeBruhl of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and Jamie Eubanks of Kershaw; her brother, Bill Hopkins of Rock Hill; her sister, Earleen Barnett of Jefferson; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Johnny and Marilyn Price, 6124 Old Lancaster Highway, Kershaw.

May McCall
CLINTON - Mrs. May Black McCall, 86, formerly of Rock Hill, died Monday, June 29, 1998.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Ebenezer ARP Church cemetery with the Revs. Boyce Wilson and Charles Mitchell officiating.
Mrs. McCall was a member of Ebenezer ARP Church and the Rock Hill Business and Professional Women's Club and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross Bloodmobile.
Surviving is her brother, David Leroy Black of Clinton.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. today in the church parlor before the service.
