Carlos Alpizar-Lopez

CLOVER - Mr. Carlos Alpizar-Lopez, 39, of 976 Cedar Grove Road died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999.

The funeral will be 8 p.m. Friday at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Toluca, Mexico.

Born in Mexico, Mr. Lopez was employed with American Eagle Wheel in York.

Surviving are his wife, Connie Ashley-Lopez; two sons, Thomas Lopez of the home and Jose Alpizar-Rojas of Mexico; his daughter, Minerva Alpizar-Rojas of Mexico; his mother, Taide Lopez of Mexico; six brothers, Augustin Alpizar-Lopez of Mexico, Angel Alpizar-Lopez of Charlotte and Eliaz Alpizar-Lopez, Alejandro Alpizar-Lopez, Santiago Alpizar-Lopez and Antonio Alpizar-Lopez, all of York; and four sisters, Magdalena Alpizar-Lopez and Manuela Alpizar-Lopez, both of Mexico, and M. Isabel Alpizar-Lopez and Sesilia Alpizar-Lopez, both of York.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Friday at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home.

Shirley Bolin

CLINTON - Miss Shirley Lee Bolin, 85, of Whitten Center Campus, formerly of Rock Hill, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1999, at Laurens County Hos-pital in Clinton.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill.

Miss Bolin was the daughter of the late Alonzo E. and Minnie Farmer Bolin. She was a member of West End Baptist Church.

Surviving are three nieces, Joanne B. Sunas of Chapel Hill, N.C., and Martha B. Bennett and Ann G. Benfield, both of Rock Hill.

Memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 1727 McConnells Highway, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

Gray Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge.

Thelma Campbell

BLACKSBURG - Mrs. Thelma Alexander Campbell of 204 W. Lime St. died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at Brookview Healthcare Center in Gaffney.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Mountain View Cemetery, with the Rev. Vernon Craig officiating.

A native of Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Campbell was the widow of Dr. T.A. Campbell Sr.

Surviving are two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at White Columns Funeral Service in Blacksburg and at other times at the home of her grandson, Willie Campbell, 128 McKee Drive.

Memorials may be made to Clem-son University general scholarship fund, Clemson, SC 29631.

Pauline Cunningham

CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Pauline Mason Cunningham, 80, of 3116 Lakeview St. died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at Sardis Nursing Home in Charlotte.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sharon Memorial Park, with the Rev. Earl Combs officiating.

Mrs. Cunningham was born in Lincoln County, N.C. A homemaker, she was the widow of Clifford Hugh Cunningham Sr.

Surviving are two sons, Clifford Cunningham Jr. and J.C. Cunning-ham, both of Charlotte; two daughters, Jane Werth of Statesville, N.C., and Judy Ellis of Fort Mill; two brothers, Ed Mason and Mose Mason, both of Lincolnton, N.C.; her sister, Inez Whitworth of Iron Station, N.C.; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the Southside Chapel of Greene Funeral Service Inc., at 1503 South York Road in Gastonia, N.C.

Ethel L. Fentress

ROCK HILL - Ms. Ethel L. Fentress, 90, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. David's Episcopal Church in Cheraw. A committal service will be at the old St. David's Cemetery.

Born in Princess County, Va., Ma. Fentress was a member of St. David's Episcopal Church and was in the Bishop Greg chapter. She worked at Chesterfield County Memorial Hospital as a nurse in the operating room. After her retirement, she was a volunteer with the hospital auxiliary. She was a member of the Civic League Garden Club and was on the Town of Cheraw Beautification Commission.

Surviving are her daughter, Pamela F. Evans of Rock Hill; her brother, Elmer Litchfield of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Pauline Etheridge of Virginia Beach and Marjorie Newbern of Norfolk, Va.; her grandchild; and two stepgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of Our Savior, 144 Caldwell St., Rock Hill, SC 29730.

The family will receive friends after the committal service at the cemetery.

Kiser Funeral Home is in charge.

Ruthie Ingram

RIDGEWAY - Miss Ruthie Imogene Ingram, 71, of Fairfield Manor died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at her home.

A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Friday at Forest Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. J.T. Stone officiating.

A native of Thomaston, Ga., she was a resident of Fairfield Manor for more than 27 years.

Surviving are her brother, James C. Ingram of Rock Hill; and her sister, Judy I. Nichols of Rock Hill.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Greene Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her sister, Judy I. Nichols, 5660 Chadwick Court, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Willie Lee Robinson

ROCK HILL - Mr. Willie Lee Robinson, 60, of 420 Hall St. died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Harmony United Methodist Church in Edgemoor, with the Rev. Robert L. Schuler officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Mr. Robinson was a native of York County and was a member of Foun-dation A.M.E. Zion Church. He was a textile worker, having worked in the Lando Manetta Mill, Springs Mill and the Carolina Process Glass Co.

Surviving are his wife, Nora R. Robinson; two daughters, Tyan Cousar of the home and Bianca S. Robinson of Rock Hill; his mother, Emma Robinson of Rock Hill; five brothers, Allen Robinson, Robert E. Robinson and Isaiha Robinson, all of Rock Hill, Jackie Robinson of Edgemoor and Lovette Freidmein of New York City; three sisters, Annie McQueen, Blondelle Taylor of Rock Hill and Estelle Hall of Charlotte; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Clemons Funeral Home.
