Annie Martin

SUMMERVILLE - Mrs. Annie Martin, formerly of Lancaster, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Summerville Medical Center.

Mrs. Martin was the widow of Henry Martin.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Hartley Funeral Home.

Randy Mitchell

ROCK HILL - Randy Mitchell, 39, of 1118 Green Street Ext. died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The arrangements, which are incomplete, will be handled by Parker Funeral Home.

Charles Peavy

KERSHAW - Mr. Charles Francis Peavy, 68, of 5013 Fernwood Drive died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cauthen Funeral Home, Kershaw Chapel, with the Rev. Steve Anglin officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Memorial Park.

A native of Galivants Ferry, Mr. Peavy was the owner-operator of Peavy's Woodworks.

Surviving are his wife, Jo Ann Rollings Peavy; two sons, Charles Michael Peavy and Joseph Matthew Peavy, both of Kershaw; four daughters, Barbara James, Linda Faye Jordan and Frances Renee Plyler, all of Lancaster, and Amanda Leigh Holcomb of Kershaw; four brothers, Aaron B. Peavy of Conway, David F. Peavy of Lancaster and Joe M. Peavy and W. Dan Peavy, both of Aynor; two sisters, Cathryn P. Martin of Aynor and Betty Wilson of Conway; 11 grandchildren; and his great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the Cauthen Funeral Home, Kershaw Chapel and at other times at the home.

Inez Steele

LANCASTER - Mrs. Inez McAteer Steele, 77, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at the Lancaster Convalescent Center.

The funeral will be 3:30 p.m. today at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Archie Blackmon and H.D. Morrow officiating. Burial will be at Westside City Cemetery.

A native of Richland County, she was a homemaker and a member of Blood Bought Church of Lancaster.

Surviving are her husband, William Jeffie Steele of Tanglewood Nursing Home; three sons, Otis T. Williams of Lancaster and Harold N. Williams and Clifford B. Williams, both of Lake Wateree; her sister, Ruby Baskins of Lancaster; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Blood Bought Church, c/o Rev. Archie Blackmon, 266 Wylie Park Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.

Ora Stewart

COMER, Ga. - Mrs. Ora Nelle Stewart, 84, formally of Oak Street in Fort Mill, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, at home.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Unity Cemetery, with the Rev. Roy Watkins officiating.

A native of Jefferson, Ga., Mrs. Stewart lived in Fort Mill from 1955 to 1997. She was a member of the Unity Presbyterian Church and was very active in the church's Circle Group. Mrs. Stewart is the widow of Steve Stewart.

Surviving are her brother, Clarence Filman of Augusta, Ga.; her niece, Janie Morrison; her great-nephew, Le Morrison, whom she lived with; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorials may be made to Thornwell Home and School for Children, P.O. Box 60; Clinton, SC 29325.

Wolfe Funeral Home is in charge.

Diane Williams

CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Diane Williams, 56, of 117 Fairmount St., formerly of York, died Saturday, Jan. 9, 1999, at Carolinas Medical Center.

Arrangements will be announced by King's Funeral Home in Charlotte.

Kamal Wilson

SHARON - Kamal Jahleel Wilson, the infant son of Gregory Martin Wilson and Kiwana Banks, of 4726 Cabal Road died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at Wallace Thompson Hospital in Union.

Arrangements are incomplete but will handled by Christopher King's Funeral Home, 703 Old York Road, Chester.

John Campbell Jr.

SALISBURY, N.C. - Mr. John Albert Campbell Jr., 43, of 432 Wake Drive died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998 at home.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. Robert M. Lewis and the Rev. Thomas P. Clements officiating.

Mr. Campbell was employed by Rowan Regional Medical Center for 15 years, spending the majority of that time as director of the medical center's foundation. He was a news reporter for the Asheville Citizen Times in Asheville, N.C., for five years. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Charlotte Public Relations Society, a Rotarian, a member of the Salisbury Sales and Marketing Executive Association and a former member of the Civitan Club. He was on the board of directors for Hospice, the Community Health Clinic, the Salisbury-Rowan Merchants Association, Rowan Little League, Salisbury Parks and Recreation and the Salisbury Country Club.

Surviving are his wife, Camille "Cam" Treacy Campbell; two sons, John A. "Jack" Campbell and William "Will" Campbell, both of the home; his mother, Eleanor Wilson Campbell of Rock Hill; two sisters, Laura Williams of Albuquerque, N.M., and Mary Licardi of Cincinnati.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Summersett Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Rowan Regional Medical Center Foundation, 118 E. Council St., Salisbury, NC28144.

Eddie Clark Jr.

BLACKSTOCK - Mr. Eddie Thomas Clark Jr., 26, of 2717 Great Falls Highway died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998, at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center in Columbia.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Parkway Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ron Gaddy officiating and the Rev. Kenny Compton assisting. Burial will be at Chester Memorial Gardens.

Surviving are his wife, Robin Morrison Clark; his daughter, Courtney Clark of the home; his father, Eddie Thomas Clark Sr. of Lockhart; his mother, Gail Hicklin Clark of Chester; and his brother, Tim Clark of Chester.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Wright's Home for Funerals in Chester.

Memorials may be made to Parkway Baptist Church, 838 J.A. Cochran Bypass, Chester, SC 29706.
