Jessie Cornwell
PHILADELPHIA - Mrs. Jessie Lee Glenn Cornwell of Philadelphia, formerly of the Wilksburg Community in Chester County, died Sunday, June 21, 1998.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by King's Funeral Home.

Jessie Cornwell
PHILADELPHIA - Mrs. Jessie Lee Glenn Cornwell, formerly of the Wilksburg Community in Chester County, died Sunday, June 21, 1998.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church, with the Rev. George Sims officiating and the Rev. James Good assisting. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Cornwell was a member of Zion Pilgrim Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Hymn Choir and the AP&B Society. She was the widow of Hue Willie Cornwell.
Surviving are her brother, Larry Glenn of Philadelphia.
The family will receive friends at the home of William and Sallie Wilkes, 2756 Pilgrim Road, Chester.
The body will be taken to the church at 1 p.m. Saturday.
King's Funeral Home is in charge.

Ed Kinnard Sr.
CHESTER - Mr. Ed W. Kinnard Sr., 58, of 1386 Broken Circle died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in Rock Hill, with the Rev. Charlie Mason officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. Kinnard was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church and attended the public schools of Mississippi.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce K. Kinnard of Bronx, N.Y.; two sons, Ed Kinnard Jr. of Malone, N.Y., and Eric Kinnard of Harrisburg, Pa.; two daughters, Princess Kinnard of Bronx, N.Y., and Aretha Blake of New York; two sisters, Annie Pearl Kinnard of Florida and Luvenia Kinnard of California; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m. today at the church.
King's Funeral Home is in charge.

Carl Scott
KERSHAW - Mr. Carl William Scott, 69, of 2812 Kershaw Highway died Thursday, June 25, 1998, at Palmetto-Baptist Medical Center in Columbia.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Second Baptist Church, with the Revs. Hugh McKinney and Robert Rivers officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will be at the Kershaw City Cemetery.
Born in Camden, Mr. Scott was a member and deacon of Bethany Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a member of Abney Lodge No. 211.
Surviving are his wife, Grace Morgan Scott; three sons, William M. Scott of Augusta, Ga., and Joey "Pat" Scott and Carl "Tim" Scott, both of Kershaw; two stepsons, Donald E. Young and Richard E. Young of Westville; his mother, Eva Coates Scott of Camden; three sisters, Lucille Seegars and Nancy Watson, both of Kershaw, and Bonnie S. Reeves of Rock Hill; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home, and at other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church, P.O. Box 488, Westville, SC 29175.

Jose Mata
FORT LAWN - Jose Pedro Mata, the 11-month-old son of Pedro and Rosa Samjuam Mata, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. today at Elmwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Alex Cosio officiating.
Surviving in addition to his parents are three sisters, Carmen Mata, Erica Mata and Maricela Mata, all of the home.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. today at Cauthen Funeral Home in Lancaster.

Milton Porter
ACWORTH, Ga. - Mr. Milton W. Porter, 59, died Tuesday, June 23, 1998.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Christ Episcopal Church in Kennesaw, Ga., with the Revs. Linda Pineo and James Lyles officiating.
A native of Rock Hill, Mr. Porter graduated in 1957 from Rock Hill High School. He was a member of The Episcopal Church of Our Savior in Rock Hill. He was a former president of the Layman's League, was active in the Boy Scouts of America and was employed by Suburban Lodges of America in Atlanta.
Surviving are his wife, Freida Rogers Porter; his son, Milton W. "Mark" Porter II of Acworth; three daughters, Leslie Kreider of Canton, Ga., Susan Michelle Porter of Acworth and Amy Rickel of Vandenburg Air Force Base, Calif; his father, Everette Porter of Rock Hill; his mother, Myrtle Campbell of Kings Mountain, N.C.; his sister, Jane Tackett of Orlando, Fla.; his brother, Jeff Campbell of Lexington, Ky.; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cobb County Unit, 1256 N. Cobb Parkway, Suite 102, Marietta, GA 30062-2420.

Liston Rogers
CLOVER - Mr. Liston Hill Rogers, 59, of 708 Guinn St. died Tuesday, June 23, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mark Collins officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce Evans Rogers; three sons, Ronald Larry Rogers of Surfside Beach, Mickey Hill Rogers of Georgetown and Marion "Will" Rogers of Clover; his mother, Mary Gertrude Dubose of Florence; his stepfather, Fred Dubose of Florence; two brothers, William David Rogers of Clover and Benjamin Ira Rogers of Lake City; two sisters, Louise Mouzon of Kingstree and Linda Taylor of Columbia; and eight grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home.

Louise Garner
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Louise Stephenson Garner, 80, of North Confederate Avenue died Wednesday, June 24, 1998, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Hogg officiating. Entombment will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Garner was a member of First Baptist Church, where she assisted with the children's choir. She was employed by Winn-Dixie for many years.
Surviving are her husband, J.E. Garner; her son, Tommy Garner of Rock Hill; two sisters, Ola Sherer of Rock Hill and Linda Nelson of York; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home of Tommy Garner, 721 Post Lane.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church building fund, 215 E. Main St., Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Henry McNeely
HEATH SPRINGS - Mr. Henry Naye McNeely, 65, of 3231 Lancewood Drive died Wednesday, June 24, 1998, at Providence Hospital in Columbia.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Flint Ridge Baptist Church, with the Revs. Steve Neal and David Laird officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mr. McNeely was retired from Springs Industries. He attended Flint Ridge Baptist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Vickie Vick and Becky Roberts, both of Heath Springs, and Donna Parker of Kershaw; three brothers, Lee McNeely of Rockingham, N.C., Kenneth McNeely of Manning and McCain "MacÓ Neely of Cassatt; four sisters, Louise Massey of Pulaski, Va., Eleanor McLaughlin of Cassatt, Nancy Windham of Lucknow and Travis Bryant of Eufaula, Ala.
Memorials may be made to Flint Ridge Baptist Church van fund, 1892 Flint Ridge Road, Heath Springs, SC 29058.

GREAT FALLS - Mrs. Mildred Dixon Watts, 86, formerly of 205 Chester Ave. died Wednesday, June 24, 1998, at Laurens County Hospital.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Catholic Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. William F. Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Watts was a retired clerk with Belk department store. She was a member of Catholic Presbyterian Church and a graduate of Great Falls High School.
Surviving are her son, George H. Watts of Columbia; two brothers, Karl Dixon of Rock Hill and Jack Dixon of Johnston; three sisters, Gladys Douglas of Clinton, Mary Bell of Great Falls and Kathryn Jacobs of Blackstock.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Catholic Presbyterian Church, 6368 Old Winnsboro Road, Blackstock, SC 29014.
