Rosa Mills

FORT MILL - A graveside service for Mrs. Rosa Bigger Mills, formerly of Fort Mill, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Clover, with the Rev. Dan Holloway officiating.

M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge.

Carleen Norris

FORT MILL - Ms. Carleen Norris, 78, of 1560 Country Lodge died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, at home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Wolfe Funeral Home.

Carrie Randolph

McCLELLANVILLE - Mrs. Carrie Randolph, 87, of Old Collins Creek Road died Monday, Nov. 16, 1998, at East Cooper Hospital in Mount Pleasant.

The funeral will be noon Saturday at Greater AME Zion Church, with the REV. O.A. Gethers officiating. The Rev. Arthur Randolph Jr. will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Surviving are two sons, the Rev. Arthur Randolph Jr. of Charlotte and Calvin Randolph of Charleston; four daughters, Minnie Austin, Audrey Lucas, Retha Brown and Altinez Miller, all of Charleston; two brothers, Alford Green and William Green, both of Charleston; two sisters, the Rev. Jane Green and Alla Faire Sanders, both of Charleston; and 15 grandchildren.

O.A. Gethers Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant is in charge,

Malinda Thompson

CARLISLE - Mrs. Malinda Meadows Thompson, 89, of 5716 Woods Ferry Road died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 1998, at Chester County Hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by King's Funeral Home.

Hinton Welch Jr.

CHARLOTTE - Mr. Hinton Welch Jr. of Echodale Drive died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Rock Hill. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.

Mr. Welch joined Red Oak Baptist Church in Edgemoor. He graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1971, joined the Army in 1974 and served three years at Fort Bragg, N.C. He was employed as a mechanic.

Surviving are his wife, Janice McClure Welch; three sons, Tracey Welch Epps of Aberline, Texas, and Tori Welch and Cori Welch, both of Charlotte; his daughter, Kenya L. Welch of Brooklyn, N.Y.; his parents, David and Willie B. White of Rock Hill; five brothers, Cleveland Welch, Robert Welch, David Welch, David White and Henry White, all of Rock Hill; nine sisters, Willie Mae Pryor of Hempstead, N.Y., Peggie Hundley, Barbara Welch, Queen Freeman, Nora White, Nancy White and Martha White, all of Rock Hill, Thelma Durham of Charlotte and Sarah White of Jamaica, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.

The body may be viewed from 6 to 7 tonight at Robinson Funeral Home.

Jeanette Bratton

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Jeanette Pearson Bratton, 72, of Ellen Avenue died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, at her home.

The graveside service will be

11 a.m. Monday at Grandview Memorial Park, with the Rev. Steven Brown officiating.

A native of York County, Mrs. Bratton was a lifelong member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church. She retired from Celanese after 38 years.

Surviving are three sons, Frank L. Hunsucker of Virginia Beach, Va., Keith Hunsucker of Rock Hill, and Howard D. Bratton of Pineville, N.C.; two brothers, Lloyd H. Pearson and George Marshall Pearson, both of Rock Hill; two sisters, Norma Nivens of Rock Hill and Jean Safdy of Elkhart, Ind.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Cor-nerstone United Methodist Church, 2697 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC 29732.

Bass Funeral Home is in charge.

Vergie Biggers

CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Vergie Belle Biggers, 89, of Charlotte died Wed-nesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at Presbyterian Hospital.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Charlotte First Wesleyan Church with the Rev. Robert Allred officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

A native of York County, Mrs. Biggers was a homemaker. She was a member of Charlotte First Wesleyan Church where she was secretary of the Matron's Sunday school class.

Surviving are her son, Edward Biggers of Charlotte; her daughter, Helen Louise Cline of Charlotte; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to Charlotte First Wesleyan Church, 2300 Alleghany St., Charlotte, NC 28208.

Aline Jones

GREAT FALLS - Mrs. Aline Osborne Jones, 79, of White Oak Manor died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at White Oak Manor in Lancaster.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Great Falls First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clarence Fouse officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Great Falls.

A native of Mecklenburg County, N.C., Mrs. Jones was a former supply cottage staff mother at Connie Maxwell Children's Home in Green-wood. She was retired from J.P. Stevens Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was the widow of James Clayton Jones.

Surviving are her brother, James H. Osborne of Great Falls; two daughters, Libby McElduff of Spartanburg and Rhetta Jones of Greenville; three sisters, Betty Nicholson of Walhalla, Rebecca Wilkes of Greensboro, N.C., and Marie Vinson of Rock Hill; three grandchildren; and her great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the social hall of First Baptist Church.

Memorials may be made to Connie Maxwell Children's Home, P.O. Box 1178, Greenwood, S.C. 29648.
