Robert Smith
ROCK HILL - Mr. Robert Lynn Smith, 54, of 4021 Crestview Drive died Thursday, July 2, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Revs. Bruce Wyatt and Jerry McNair officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
Born in York County, Mr. Smith was employed at Paramount's Carowinds theme park and served in the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Willis Smith; his son, Robbie Smith of Rock Hill; his daughter, Julie Smith Killough of Rock Hill; his mother, Bonnie Smith Wolfe of Rock Hill; two sisters, Delphine S. Comer of McConnells and Andrea S. Ross of Rock Hill; his stepsister, Jean Cavney of Rock Hill; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.

Wendell Timmons
FORT LAWN - Mr. Wendell "Robin" Timmons, 40, of 1260 East Creek Road died Thursday, July 2, 1998.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Providence Baptist Church in Kershaw, with the Rev. Hilton Batts officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Timmons was a member of Four Square Gospel Church. He was a fork lift driver with West Marine Distribution Center in Rock Hill.
Surviving are his parents, Sidney Kenneth and Roselle Roberts Timmons of Fort Lawn; two daughters, Robyn Lynn Timmons and Crystal Dawn Timmons, both of Rock Hill; three brothers, Randy Timmons of York, Keith Timmons of Richmond Hill, Ga., and Gerald Timmons of Fort Lawn; three sisters, Juanita Catoe and Barbara Fincher, both of Fort Lawn, and Pam Cooke of Lumberton, N.C.; and his granddaughter.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Juanita Catoe, 1241 East Creek Road, Fort Lawn, SC 29714.

Aubrey Baker Jr.
LANCASTER - Mr. Aubrey Edward Baker Jr., 40, of Laredo, Texas, formerly of Lancaster, died Monday, June 29, 1998, in Laredo.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lancaster Memorial Park, with the Rev. Gary Rogers officiating.
Mr. Baker was born in Columbus, Ga.
Surviving are his son, Aubrey E. Baker III of Richmond, Va.; his daughter, Sarah Baker of Richmond, Va.; his father, Aubrey Edward Baker Sr. of Lancaster; his mother, Velma Wilson Tittle of Haleyville, Ala., his brother, Charles E. Baker of Seale, Ala.; two sisters, Melinda Hall of Columbus, Ga., and Cheryl Knight of Phoenix City, Ala.; her half-sister, Jennifer A. Baker of Lancaster; and his grandmother, Margie E. Baker of Lancaster.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Aubrey E. Baker Sr., 2862 J.B. Denton Road, Lancaster.

ROCK HILL - Mr. Forrest Dawkins, 72, of 1825 Springsteen Road died Sunday, July 5, 1998, at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Greene Funeral Home.

ROCK HILL - Mr. Forrest Evans Dawkins, 72, of 1825 Springsteen Road died Sunday, July 5, 1998, at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Memorial Park, with the Rev. Larry Soles officiating.
Mr. Dawkins was of the Mormon faith and was retired from Genesco of Charlotte, where he worked as a warehouse stocker.
Surviving are his wife, Margie Weaver Dawkins; two sons, Richard Evans Dawkins of Charlotte and Forrest Randall Dawkins of Rock Hill; two daughters, Debra Dawkins Moss and Tami Dawkins Mussman, both of Charlotte; two brothers, Jessie Dawkins of Vinton, Va., and Martin Dawkins of Kings Mountain, N.C.; two sisters, Elsie Gurley of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Susan Green of Sacramento, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and his great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Greene Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

Gladys DeBruhl
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Gladys Deese DeBruhl, 67, of 331 Hasty St. died Sunday, July 5, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eastside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Holley officiating and the Rev. Jerry DeVinney assisting. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
A native of Lancaster, Mrs. DeBruhl was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Woman's Missionary Union Group No. 2
Surviving are her husband, James T. DeBruhl; her daughter, Ann D. Mitchell of Edgemoor; her brother, Soulee Deese of Woodruff; two sisters, Ruth Hinton and Connie Clinton, both of Rock Hill; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Greene Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

ROCK HILL - Miss Joyce R. Garrett, 71, of 710 S. York Ave. died Sunday, July 5, 1998, at her home.

Dorothy Harvey
JUNIPER BEACH, Fla. - Mrs. Dorothy Faris Crammond Harvey, 59, of Juniper Beach, Fla., formerly of Rock Hill, died Wednesday, July 1, 1998, in Juniper Beach.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ebenezer ARP Church Cemetery in Rock Hill, with the Rev. Dr. Tim McClendon and Lindsey Faris officiating.
Mrs. Harvey retired from the Millburn School System in New Jersey, where she taught junior and senior high school students. She also taught courses at Palm Beach Community College in Florida.
Mrs. Harvey attained a doctorate from Rutgers University and worked as a real estate agent for Bluff Real Estate in Juniper Beach.
Surviving are her husband, David Harvey of Juniper Beach, Fla.; her son, John S. Crammond of Boynton Beach, Fla.; and two sisters, Jane Rando of Hanahan and Cynthia Worthy of Folly Beach.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 2535, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at South Main Baptist Church in Greenwood, with the Revs. Bob Porterfield and Dave Patterson officiating. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery in Ninety-Six.
Mrs. Lowe was employed by Winthrop University's College of Business and was a member of First Baptist Church of Rock Hill.
Surviving are her husband, Steven Lance Lowe; her son, Evan Chapin Lowe of McConnells; two stepsons, Kevin Mark Lowe and Kyle Steven Lowe, both of Rock Hill; her parents, C.E. "Buck" and Carol E. Hollingshead of Slidell, La.; her brother, Kevin Michael Hollingshead of Charleston; and her sister, Karen Savage of Russellville, Ark.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home and at other times at home.

FORT MILL - Mrs. Willie Mae Hudson Morris, 71, of 301 Unity St. died Saturday, July 4, 1998, at Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher, N.C.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Doby's Bridge Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Edgar McCall, Jim McGill and Larry Soles officiating. Burial will be at Philadelphia United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris was retired from Springs Industries as a cloth inspector at the Fort Mill plant and was a member of Doby's Bridge Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband, R. Leon Morris of Fort Mill; her daughter, Kathy Boone of Rock Hill; her brother, Daniel Hudson of Walhalla; her sister, Gail Medlin of Walhalla; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Wolfe Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
