Georgia Moore

YORK - Mrs. Georgia Bell Moore, 81, of 119 Hickory Lane died Monday, Sept. 21, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John Baptist Church, with the Rev. Tony Dogan officiating and the Revs. W.E. Garrison and William McClain assisting. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Moore was a member of St. John Baptist Church in Sharon.

Surviving are her daughter, Marie Neely of the home; two sons, Johnny Gary Moore and Roger Dell Moore, both of York; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Wright Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

The body will be taken to the church at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Alethea Adams

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Alethea Inman Adams, 85, of 1000 Beverly Drive died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Laurelwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Steve. Hogg officiating.

Mrs. Adams was a member of First Baptist Church in Rock Hill. She was retired from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing Co., where she worked in the billing department for more than 27 years. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.

Surviving are her husband, Leamon G. Adams; two sons, Robert L. "Whitey" Adams and Brent E. Adams, both of Rock Hill; her sister, Helen Inman Mills of Gastonia, N.C.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Greene Funeral Home.

Effie Burns

YORK - Mrs. Effie Childers Burns, 96, formerly of Hickory Grove, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, at White Oak Manor Nursing Home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Unity Baptist Church in Hickory Grove, with the Rev. Jimmy McCraw officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Burns was a homemaker. She was the widow of J.R. "Jim" Burns, and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

Surviving are her brother, Carl Childers of Kings Mountain, N.C.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at York Funeral Home.

Mary Burns

CLOVER - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Clinton Burns, 89, of 117 Marion St. died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at Belaire Healthcare in Gastonia, N.C.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Clover Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Dr. William K. Neely officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.

Mrs. Burns was a graduate of City Hospital School of Nursing. She was the widow of Leland Smith Burns.

Surviving are three daughters, Beth Ruppe and Frances Bowman, both of Clover, and Sarah Jackson of Bowling Green; her brother, Howard L. Clinton of Clover; two sisters, Grace C. Smith of High Point, N.C., and Hazel C. Sims of Clover; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Beth and Morgan Ruppe, 831 Belwood Drive, Clover.

Ronald Foege

LAKE WYLIE - Mr. Ronald Ernst Foege, 66, of 5909 Lake Valley Drive died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, with the Rev. Lewis Gunn officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mr. Foege was an engineer with John Deere Consumer Products. He was a member of Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, where he participated in the men's choir.

Surviving are his wife, Wilmetta Lucas Foege; two sons, H.E. Dinny Dunsmore of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ricky Allen Dunsmore of Santa Ana, Calif.; two daughters, Rebekah F. Eggen of Des Moines, Iowa, and Marcia F. Klingson of Fort Dodge, Iowa; his mother, Frieda K. Foege of Michigan City, Ind.; two brothers, Romaine Foege of Mount Vernon, Iowa, and David Foege of Naples, Fla.; four sisters, Miriam Reitz of Louisville, Ky., Malinda Meyer of Michigan City, Eunice Hofmeyer of Des Moines and Ruth Hofbauer of Donnellson, Iowa; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to to the Ronald Foege Memorial Fund for Cancer Research c/o Lake Wylie Christian Assembly, 5766 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC 29710.

Samuel Fulwiley

CHARLOTTE - Mr. Samuel Fulwiley, 75, of 9606 Loblolly Lane, formerly of Fort Mill, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion AME Zion Church in Fort Mill, with the Rev. Victory Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Beasley's Funeral Home.

Jack Hilton

KERSHAW - Mr. Jack W. Hilton, 84, of 307 S. Matson St. died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mahaffey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Hugh McKinney officiating. Entombment will be at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mr. Hilton was a retired barber. He attended Jefferson Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Cleo Griffin Hilton; his son, Toby Hilton of Greensboro, N.C.; his daughter, Rita Forrest of Columbia; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Mahaffey Funeral Home.

Sean Miller

CLOVER - Mr. Sean Lee Miller, 30, of 2459 Bonnie Glenn died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1998, at home.

A memorial service will be 6:30 tonight at Clover ARP Church, with Dick Burrell officiating.

Mr. Miller was a self-employed concrete finisher.

Surviving are two daughters, Ashley Miller of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Seanna Miller of Clover; his father, Bill Miller of Statesville; his mother, Trudy Miller of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; and his brother, Mike Miller of Florida.

M.L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge.
