Emmiett Clinton
YORK - Mr. Emmiett Marion Clinton, 62, of 609 E. Liberty St. in York died Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, with the Rev. Eddie Usher officiating.
Born in York County, Mr. Clinton was a retired textile worker with Springs mills.
Surviving are four brothers, Phillip Clinton, Jimmy Clinton, Ricky Clinton and Randy Clinton, all of York; four sisters, Debbie Black of Clover, Connie Clinton, Retha Smart and Carolyn White, all of York; and his half-sister, Alieen Bryant of York.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, S.C. Affiliate Inc., 400 Percival Road, P.O. Box 6604, Columbia, SC 29260.
York Funeral Home is in charge.

Robert Gore
COLUMBIA - Mr. Robert "Bobby" Gore, 45, of 2004 Burton St., formerly of 107 Stewart St. in Chester, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at Baptist Medical Center.
The family is at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James A. Gore, 107 Stewart St., Chester.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Gore's Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Baskin
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Baskin, 69, died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at Meadow Haven Rehabilitation and Specialty Care Center.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Memorial Park, with the Rev. Jerry McNair officiating.
Born in York County, Mrs. Baskin was a former waitress and a member of Bethel Methodist Church. She was the widow of Fred Wellington Baskin Sr.
Surviving are two sons, Fred W. Baskin of Louisville, Ky., and Richard E. Baskin of Belton; two daughters, Diane Brookshire and Sue Ellis, both of Rock Hill; two brothers, Fred Funderburk and Jack Funderburk, both of Rock Hill; her sister, Margaret Harrell of Warsaw, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Bass Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Sue Ellis, 325 Clayton Ave.

Melvin Hallman
LANCASTER - Mr. Melvin Hallman, 66, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Old Waxhaw Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Harold Hutchinson officiating. Burial at Old Waxhaw Presbyterian Church cemetery will be private.
Born in York County, Mr. Hallman retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Old Waxhaw Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Watkins of Lancaster and Vickie Ferguson of West Columbia; his sister, Brenda Hunter of Lancaster; and four grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Hartley Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Old Waxhaw Presbyterian Church, c/o Jimmy Simcox, 2507 Riverside Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.

Carna Mae Horton
KERSHAW - Mrs. Carna Mae Knight Horton, 73, of 3684 Goldmine Highway died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at Lancaster Convalescent Center.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. today at Midway Baptist Church cemetery, with the Rev. Randall Runion officiating.
Born in Kershaw, Mrs. Horton was a member of Midway Baptist Church and was retired from Springs Industries. She was the widow of Gilliam Carl Horton.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol Ann Faulkenberry of Kershaw; her grandchild; and two great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends at the home of Rickey and Carol Ann Faulkenberry, 3664 Tripper Drive, Kershaw.
Memorials may be made to Midway Baptist Church, 7864 Old Jefferson Highway, Kershaw, SC 29067.

YORK - Mrs. Georgia Anna Floyd Jones of 102 West Jefferson St. died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Forsythe Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Wright Funeral Home.

YORK - Mrs. Georgia Anna Floyd Jones, 75, of 102 W. Jefferson St. died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Forsythe Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Galilee Baptist Church, with the Rev. S.E. Tyndall officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Galilee Baptist Church, where she was a member of the musical choir, the church choir, a former usher board member and in the missionary circle. She was a member of the NAACP, the Upper Division of the Sandy River Baptist Association and was active in other local civic groups.
Surviving are her foster daughter, Ernestine S. Adams of York; and her cousin, Evelyn Tyndall of Winston-Salem, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Galilee Baptist Church.
The body may be viewed from 5 to 7 tonight at Wright Funeral Home.

Mary Littlejohn
CLOVER - Mrs. Mary Benionia Littlejohn, 75, of 1410 Tom Joye Road died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Hopewell Baptist Church in Sharon, with the Rev. R. Davis officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Littlejohn was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Perry Littlejohn of Clover, Estell Littlejohn of Amite, La., and Robert Littlejohn of Rock Hill; four daughters, Lodessia L. Pressley and Nancy L. Palmer, both of York, Barbara Littlejohn of Clover and Laura Foster of Columbia; three sisters, Amy Wright of Clover, and Rosa Lee Meeks and Theodora Jackson, both of Charlotte; 35 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Wright Funeral Home is in charge.

Willie Mae Nalley
ROCK HILL - Mrs. Willie Mae Wright Nalley, 76, of 1246 Nalley Road died Monday, Feb. 23, 1998, at her home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greene Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gardner Koch officiating. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.
A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Nalley worked 18 years for Hoechst Celanese Corp. in the maintenance department and in bobbin storage. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Fred L. Nalley Sr.; two sons, Fred L. Nalley Jr. of Rock Hill and Joseph Nalley Sr. of Tallahassee, Fla.; three daughters, Ola Duffels and Dianne Kyzer, both of Rock Hill, and Pat Angley of York; three sisters, Frankie Holland of Rock Hill, and Jeanette Martin and Betty Randle, both of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Greene Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

James Robbins
CHESTER - Mr. James Evreaux Robbins, 82, of 1214 Williamsville Church Road died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Palmetto Baptist Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Clay Waldrip officiating. Burial will be at Chester Memorial Gardens.
Born in Hickory Grove, Mr. Robbins was a meter technician with the South Carolina highway department. He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was a graduate of Hickory Grove High School and an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Mayberry Robbins of Chester; his son, James Morris Robbins of Conway; his daughter, Mary Robbins Bell of Chester; three brothers, Lowry Robbins of Charleston, Tom B. Robbins and Faye C. Robbins, both of Hickory Grove; his sister, Mary Nan Stafford of Rock Hill; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Barron Funeral Home.

Phillip Sexton
ROCK HILL - Mr. Phillip William H. Sexton, 73, of 1423 Bose Ave. died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. today at Grace Church of the Nazarene, with the Revs. Jessie Sims and Marion Pressley officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Mr. Sexton was a York County native. He was retired from J.P. Stevens Co. and attended Grace Church of the Nazarene. He was the widower of Madeline F. Sexton.
Surviving are two sons, Danny Sexton and Ricky Sexton, both of Rock Hill; three daughters, Judy Faile, Glynis Beard and Sandy Rinehart, all of Rock Hill; two brothers, Grover Sexton and Richard Sexton, both of Rock Hill; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Bass Funeral Home is in charge.
