Mary Chambers

YORK - Mrs. Mary Jo Wilform Chambers, 86, of 209 E. Madison St. died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Wesley United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Keith Hunter officiating. Burial will be at Uniondale Cemetery.

Mrs. Chambers was a native of York. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Hymn Choir and the Stewardess Board.

Surviving are three brothers, Robert Wilform and Arthur Wilform, both of York, and Rufus Wilform of Jersey City, N.J.; her sister, Virginia Williams of Sanford, Fla.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Wesley United Methodist Church and at other times at the home.

The body may be viewed from 7 to 8 tonight at Wright Funeral Home.

Bleaker Furr

LANCASTER - Mrs. Bleaker Aileen Morton Furr, 85, of 4337 Pageland Highway died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at Hartley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kenny Coker officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mrs. Furr was a retired private duty nurse. A native of Lancaster County, she was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Marion Honeycutt and Peggy Threatt, both of Lancaster, and Catherine Reid of Rock Hill; her stepdaughter, Peggy Furr Sims of Monroe, N.C.; two brothers, Hoyle Morton of Chesterfield and the Rev. Johnny Morton of Concord, N.C.; her sister, Zulee Elizabeth Keye of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.

Douglas Hutchison

ROCK HILL - Mr. Douglas Hutchison of 1260 Heckle Blvd. died Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Robinson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Harold Jordan Jr.

PIEDMONT - The Rev. Harold Lee Jordan Jr., 57, of 2504 Highway 86 died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Emanuel Full Gospel Tabernacle, with the Revs. Charles Bell and Raymond Stonnell officiating. Burial will be at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The Rev. Jordan was a retired textile employee and pastor of Christ Chapel Full Gospel Tabernacle.

Surviving are his wife, Lily Mae Hall Jordan; three sons, David Jordan of Pelzer, Thomas Jordan of Easley and Harold Lee Jordan II of the home; three daughters, Susan Zes of Metter, Ga., Haroldeen Carlisle of Simpsonville and Judy Carol Hester of Rock Hill; three brothers, James Jordan, Darrell Jordan and Edward Jordan, all of Greenville; two sisters, Barbara Weeks and Betty Lou Leopard, both of Greenville; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Cannon Funeral Home in Fountain Inn.

Nellie Love

FORT MILL - Miss Nellie Love, 82, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, at Ebenezer Nursing Home.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, with the Revs. Jeff Bedwell and Ralph Riley officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery.

Miss Love retired from Springs Industries as a time-keeper. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sister, Nettie Porter of Myrtle Beach; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Wolfe Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Frank and Tammy Carter, 601 South Sutton Road, Fort Mill.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church building fund, 121 Monroe White Street, Fort Mill, SC 29715.

Mildred Williams

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Mildred Agurs Williams of 436 Williamson St. died Monday, Oct. 5, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Church of Christ on Charlotte Avenue, with Brother Fred Turner officiating and Brother Melvin Williams assisting. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Williams was a native of York County. She was a member of Church of Christ on Crawford Road and a former member of Rock Grove AME Zion Church, where she was a missionary, a member of the usher board and the choir. She attended York County public schools.

Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Williams of Bronx, N.Y., and Wanda Hollingsworth of Atlanta; her brother, John D. Agurs of Catawba; two sisters, Dorothy McClure of Charlotte and Naomi Bradley of Queens, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The body may be viewed from 5 to 6 tonight at Robinson Funeral Home and from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Church of Christ on Charlotte Avenue.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the church.

Roger Williams

LANCASTER - Mr. Roger Dale Williams, 53, of 3066 Ridgewood Acres Road died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1998, at home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eddie Usher officiating. Burial will be at Lancaster Memorial Park.

Mr. Williams was retired from the supply room at Springs Industries. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Small Williams; his son, Mitchell Dale Williams of Lancaster; two daughters, Hope Elaine Rollings and Dawn Ellen Williams, both of Lancaster; four brothers, Danny Williams, Ricky Williams and Irbie Williams, all of Kershaw, and Gary Williams of Lancaster; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Cauthen Funeral Home and at other times at home.

Memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 400 Grace Ave., Lancaster, SC 29720.

J.C. Boulware

CHESTER - Mr. J.C. Boulware, 67, of 134 Steinkuhler St. died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1998, at Chester County Hospital.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by King's Funeral Home.
