Agnes Holler

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Agnes S. Holler of 2005 Lynn Circle died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Laurelwood Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Pietila officiating.

Mrs. Holler was retired from Springs Industries. She was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and Kings Business College in Charlotte. She was a member of Woodland United Methodist Church. Mrs. Holler was the widow of Joseph M. Holler.

Surviving are her mother, Ora H. Settlemyer of Rock Hill; two sisters, Margaret Crocker of Rock Hill and Arline Holt of Kingsport, Tenn.; her nephew; and three nieces.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at Bass Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Woodland United Methodist Church, 801 Cherry Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.

Samuel Feemster Sr.

SHARON - Mr. Samuel Feemster Sr., 81, of 988 Blanton Road died Thursday, July 30, 1998, in his home.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Wilson Chapel AME Zion Church, with the Rev. Dennis McCleave officiating. The Rev. William Good will assist. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Feemster was a self-employed painter, carpenter and farmer. He was a member of Wilson Chapel AME Zion Church, where he served as church secretary for 53 years as well as a trustee, Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher and church leader. He also was president of the Adult Singing Convention, a member of The Hymn Chorus and a member of Hoodtown Masonic Lodge No. 433.

Surviving are his wife, Adell Parker Feemster; three sons, Samuel Feemster Jr. and Collie Feemster, both of Spartanburg, and Carl Feemster of Clover; his daughter, Barbara Black of Ft. Riley, Kan.; his brother, Joe Saye Feemster of Gastonia, N.C.; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. tonight in the Wright Funderal Home, York.

The family requests that contributions be made to Wilson Chapel AME Zion Church, Sharon, in care of Adell Feemster, in lieu of flowers.

William Hunter

LANCASTER - Mr. William Uriah Hunter, 74, of 993 Sherwood Circle died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, at Springs Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church, with the Revs. Shane Patrick and Roy Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Westside Cemetery.

Mr. Hunter was a retired accounting manager with Springs Industries, the author of a book, "Survival of a Sailor" and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, a Sunday school teacher for 20 years, a founder and charter member of the Rock Hill Civitan Club and a member of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.

Surviving are his wife, Iris Geynell Hunter; his daughter, Jan Lingle of Florence; and three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Mahaffey Funeral Home.

Memorials to the First Baptist Church in care of the building fund, 300 S. Market St., Lancaster, SC 29720 or to Home Care and Hospice, 800 W. Meeting St., Lancaster, SC 29720.

Ronald Malm

LANCASTER - Mr. Ronald Edwin Malm, 57, of 3927 Flat Creek Road died Wednesday, July 29, 1998, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Frank Lybrand officiating.

A retired tool setter, Mr. Malm was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Olmstead Malm; three sons, Dana Adams of Waterbury, Conn., Dwain Adams of Savannah, Ga., and Randy Adams of Bethlehem, Conn.; four daughters, Deborah Jimmo of Connecticut, Donna Taylor and Roni Chatellier, both of Base St. Louis, Miss., and Melinda Rossi of Lancaster; four brothers, George Malm of Prospect, Conn., Dale Malm of Wassila, Ala., Gary Malm of Caribou, Maine, and Paul Malm of Winter Garden, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and his great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at Hartley Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1865 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.

Bruce Mobley

HEATH SPRINGS - Mr. Bruce Alton Mobley, 59, of 623 Hart St. died Friday, July 31, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. today at the Cauthen Funeral Home, Kershaw Chapel, with the Rev. Patrick Minihane officiating. Burial will be at the Salem Cemetery.

Mr. Mobley was a foreman for Southern High Pressure.

Surviving are his mother, Ella Mae Mobley of Heath Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews.

William Wood

BETHUNE - Mr. William Allen Wood, 55, of 3461-B Mill Creek Road died Friday, July 31, 1998, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Charleston.

The graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Florence National Cemetery, with the Rev. Kevin Hinton officiating.

Mr. Wood was a certified public accountant, who attended the University of South Carolina. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Shamrock Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Meade Wood; his daughter, Tracy D. Wood of Greenville; his stepmother, Helen H. Wood of Sumter; his stepsister, Lib Keller of New Orleans; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at their home.

Memorials may be made to the Veterans Administration Hospital in Charleston.

Cauthen Funeral Home is in charge.

Elizebeth Crenshaw

YORK - Mrs. Elizebeth M. Crenshaw, 65, of 13 Cannon Court died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, at her home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Parker Funeral Home.

Cordoza White

FORT MILL - Mr. Cordoza "Boy" White, 96, of 1391 Banks Road died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, at his home.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Parker Funeral Home.

Marjorie Stroud

ROCK HILL - Mrs. Marjorie Stroud, 70, of 809 McDow Drive died Saturday, Aug. 1, 1998, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

A graveside service will be announced later by Bass Funeral Home.

Mrs. Stroud was a lifelong resident of Rock Hill and worked in information science and data processing.

Surviving are two sons, Dean Cornett and John A. Robinson, both of Rock Hill; her daughter, Robin Runyon of Rock Hill; her mother, Bessie H. Stroud of Rock Hill; her brother, Walter D. Stroud of Chester; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Bass Funeral Home.
