Harvey Roberts
GREAT FALLS - Mr. Harvey Jesse "J.B." Roberts, 74, of 4271 Great Falls Highway died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998, at home.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Cemetery, with the Revs. Dr. Todd Morris and Larry Roberts officiating.
Born in Jonesville, Va., Mr. Roberts served in the U.S. Air Force in World War II. He was retired from J.P. Stevens Co.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby Y. Roberts; his son, Jimmy Roberts of Great Falls; his daughter, Wanda Coyle of North Augusta; his brother, Floyd Roberts of Great Falls; his sister, Maude Heffner of Great Falls; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Community Care, 325 S. Oakland Ave., Rock Hill, SC 39730.
Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Shant-e Sanders
CHESTER - Shant-e Montique Sanders, infant daughter of Samuel Sanders and Shirley A. Moore of 531A Debruhl Road, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
The graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Blackrock Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Agurs officiating.
Surviving in addition to her parents are two brothers, Devont-e Sanders of Chester and Joseph Sanders of Pensacola, Fla.; two sisters, Whitney Crump and Brianna Sanders, both of Chester; her maternal grandparents, Nelson and Mary Staton of Charlotte; and her maternal great-grandmother, Mamie Agurs of Chester.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mamie Agurs, 1012 Holmes Road, Chester.
King's Funeral Home is in charge.

Arthur House
ROCK HILL - Mr. Arthur House, 81, of 504 Hampton St. died Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. today at Robinson Funeral Home, with the Rev. J.A. Massey and Dr. John McCoy officiating.
Mr. House attended Chester County Public Schools and was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. Burial will be at New Zion Baptist Church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Louise Jimmison; three daughters, Louneal Martin of Charlotte, Vanie House and Wyomia House, both of Rock Hill; four sons, Willie House of Charlotte, Ronnie House, Arthur House Jr. and Arthur Culp, all of Rock Hill; his sister, Beatrice House of Salisbury, N.C.; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at 9:30 a.m. today at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home and at other times at the home.

Julie Stevens
LANCASTER - Mrs. Julie Parnell Terry Stevens, 35, of Laurel Hill, N.C., died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1998.
A graveside funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Lancaster Memorial Park, with the Revs. Stuart Snow and Jerry Catledge officiating.
Mrs. Parnell was a native of Rockingham, N.C.
Surviving are her son, Frank Shelton Steven Jr. of Lancaster; two daughters, Michelle Harris and Elizabeth Stevens, both of Lancaster; her parents Henry and Jessie Mae Terry of Rockingham; two brothers, William Terry of Rock Hill and David Terry of Lancaster; and six sisters, Juanita Knight, Kathy Waters, Carolyn Dawkins, Louise Terry, Francis Marsh, all of Rockingham, and Almetto Terry of Ohio; and her grandchild.
Cauthen Funeral Home, Lancaster Chapter is in charge of arrangements.

Minnie Lowe
CHARLOTTE - Minnie Rice Lowe, 91, of Charlotte, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at Mecklenburg Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Southside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Doug Agnew and the Rev. John Saunders officiating.
A 1926 graduate of Mars Hill High School, Mrs. Lowe retired from the textile industry. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday school class. She was the widow of B. Frank Lowe Sr.
Surviving are two sons, B. Frank Lowe Jr. of Murfreesboro, N.C., and Carlis Eugene Lowe of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Sylvia Todd of Charlotte, Jo Anne Edwards of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Edna Giordano of Rock Hill; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. today at Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service, 1111 East Blvd.

John McKown
HICKORY GROVE - Mr. John Mason McKown, 82, of 12074 Smithford Road died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at his home.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Monday at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church in Hickory Grove, with the Revs. Roger Dodds and Bill Good officiating. Burial will be at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
Mr. McKown was a retired finisher from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing Co. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the Medical Corp. He was a member of Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church
Surviving are his wife, Mary Smarr McKown of Hickory Grove; his son, Jeffrey McKown of Hickory Grove; two daughters, Barbara McKown Rayborn of Jayass, Miss. and Nancy McKown Stargher of Charlotte; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at York Funeral Home.

Pearl Mobley
CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Pearl Mayfield Mobley, 86, of Winnsboro died Friday, Feb. 6, 1998, at Charlotte Health Care Center.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Washington Funeral Home in Great Falls.

Margaret Smith
HARTSVILLE - Mrs. Margaret Stuckey Smith, 89, died Feb. 5, 1998.
The funeral was 3 p.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Tim McLendon and Mitch Houston officiating. Burial was at Magnolia Cemetery.
A native of Bishopville, Mrs. Smith graduated from Queens College, taught school in Lee County and at Hartsville High School, and was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Teachers sorority. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Rock Hill. Before moving to Rock Hill in 1989, she was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where she taught the Susannah Wesley Sunday school class for 30 years. She was a former president of the United Methodist Women, a circle leader, and a member of the Altar Guild. She was a charter member of the Pine and Lake Garden Club.
Surviving are her daughter, Suzanne Smith of Rock Hill; her brother, Thurston Stuckey of Hartsville; and her granddaughter.
Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church in Hartsville or St. John's United Methodist Church in Rock Hill.
Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pearl Tysinger
MONROE, N.C. - Mrs. Pearl Helms Moser Tysinger, 87, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at Union Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at McEwen Colonial Chapel, with the Revs. George Brasington and Talbot Davis officiating. Burial will be at Lakeland Memorial Park.
Born in Union County, Mrs. Tysinger was a homemaker. She was the widow of Rufus Moser and Arden Tysinger.
Surviving are two sons, Clifford "Buck" Moser of Lancaster and Mike Easley of Monroe; three daughters, Jeanette Jacobs of Blacksburg, Dorothy Johnson of Pageland, and Patricia Shackleford of Rock Hill; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Clinzo Anthony
ROCK HILL - Mr. Clinzo Anthony of 1107 Glenarden Drive died Monday, Feb. 9, 1998, at C.M. Tucker's Nursing Center in Columbia.
Funeral announcements will be announced by Robinson Funeral Home.

David Brown
FORT MILL - Mr. David Leroy Brown, 71, of 3800 Pleasant Road died Sunday, Feb. 8, 1998, at his home.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Flint Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Born in Ohio, Mr. Brown was a maintenance worker at the Springs Complex in Fort Mill. He was an Army veteran and served during the Korean conflict.
Surviving are his wife, Fannie Brown of Fort Mill; three daughters, Terrie Birchfield of Rock Hill, and Lynn Brown and Cathy Ann Brown, both of Belmont, N.C.; two sisters, Nellie Sprowl of Dayton, Ohio, and Betty Lou Altic of Toledo, Ohio; and his grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Whitesell-Wolfe Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
