Aberdeen -- The graveside service for Kira Marie Schlink, infant daughter of Dale and Kim Schlink of Aberdeen, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hillview Cemetery in Westport. The Rev. Ron Jensen will officiate.
Miller-Huebl Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., Aberdeen, is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Kira Maria Schlink was born Thursday, July 12, 2001, to Dale and Kim (VanDover) Schlink at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Survivors include her parents of Aberdeen; one brother, Montgomery Gondolfi of California; two sisters, Elizabeth VanDover and Hayley Schlink, both of Aberdeen; maternal grandparents, Phil and Kay VanDover of Aberdeen; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Judy Schlink of Topeka, Kan.; great-grandparents, Edgar and Marge Wipf and Orpha Seelbach, all of Aberdeen, Amy VanDover of Westport and Helen Schlink of Topeka, Kan.
Kim L. Bertsch
Sisseton -- Kim L. Bertsch, 40, of Sisseton died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Fargo Merit Care Hospital in Fargo, N.D.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in McIntosh. The Rev. Ben Motis will officiate.
Burial will be in Chance Cemetery south of Meadow with Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon in charge of arrangements.
A family service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Lemmon.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Lemmon and for one hour prior to the service Tuesday at the church in McIntosh.
Kim Lee Bertsch was born May 3, 1961, to Marvin and Donna (Miles) Bertsch in Sisseton. He grew up in McIntosh, where he attended elementary and high school, graduating in 1979. He then attended Stewart's School of Cosmetology in Aberdeen for two years and received his license. He worked in beauty salons in Sioux Falls and Pierre for several years. He later worked as a waiter in restaurants in various places.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in McIntosh.
He liked to cook various foods and try new recipes.
Survivors include his parents of McIntosh; one brother, Korby Bertsch of Sisseton; and three sisters, Tammy Klein of Bismarck, N.D., Edie Grefsrud of Fargo and Janet Gehring of Spearfish.
Harriet Jane Bozzell
Huron -- The funeral for Harriet Jane Bozzell, 54, of Huron and formerly of Aberdeen will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, 1500 E. Melgaard Road, Aberdeen. The Rev. Harold E. Salem will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen with Miller-Huebl Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., Aberdeen, in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
She died of natural causes Thursday, July 11, 2001, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Harriet Jane Suiter was born Sept. 5, 1946, to Robert and Esther (Heupel) Suiter in Aberdeen. She grew up and was educated in Aberdeen. She graduated from Aberdeen Central in 1964. Following her education, she moved to Virginia and worked for the Virginia Tax Department.
She married Bobby Bozzell on Dec. 17, 1965, in Richmond, Va. They moved to Aberdeen in 1968, and in 1971 moved to Huron. She lived in Huron until the time of her death. They took care of foster children over the years.
She was active at the Salvation Army in Huron. She enjoyed reading, writing and listening to religious music.
Survivors include her husband of Huron; one son, Chad (Amy) Bozzell of Madison; one guardian son, Scott Hemmingson of Huron; three brothers, Jerry Suiter of Simi Valley, Calif, LeRoy Suiter of Victorville, Calif., and Roger Suiter of Frisco, Colo.; two sisters, Kathleen Samuelson and Judy Dabney, both of Aberdeen.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Casketbearers will be Jon Dabney, Brian Burckhartzmeyer, Jesse Suiter, Chris Samuelson, Brad Samuelson, Don Heupel, Mark Heupel and Duane Heibult.
Ronald Warrington
Bristol -- Mass of Christian burial for Ronald Warrington, 48, of the Bristol area will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bristol. The Rev. David Janes will officiate.
Burial will be at a later date in the Bristol Catholic Cemetery with Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be prior to the service at the church.
He died Monday, July 2, 2001, at his brother's home in Mitchell following a long illness.
Ronald Eugene Warrington was born Aug. 1, 1952, to Vern and Marge (Grode) Warrington in Watertown. The family lived on a farm near Butler where he grew up. He attended school in Bristol and graduated from high school in 1970.
He married Karen Flattum in September 1970 in Bristol. The couple moved to Oregon for a brief time and then returned to Butler to farm. He then began working as a truck driver. Eventually he started trucking for Systems Inc. He lived in Fargo, N.D., Watertown, Spokane, Wash., and most recently moved to Mitchell.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessi (Dan) Hegg of Webster and Nikki (Trenton) Heinz of Yankton; one son, Wyatt Warrington of Sioux Falls; his mother of Sioux Falls; two sisters, Diane Schmidt of Sioux Falls and Kathy Johnson of Butler; two brothers, Roger Warrington of Mitchell and Butch Warrington of Sioux Falls; and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
Casketbearers will be Butch Flattum, Glenn Flattum, Dan Grode, Larry Loterbauer, Brent Zimmerman and Dean Warrington.
Jeanette Sigdestad
Webster -- The funeral for Jeanette Sigdestad, 85, of Webster will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bergen Lutheran Church in Bristol. The Rev. Vernon E. Severson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Mohs Funeral Home in Webster in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 7to 9 tonight at the funeral home in Webster. There will also be visitation for one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church in Bristol.
She died Monday, July 2, 2001, in Redlands, Calif.
Jeanette Hayenga was born June 6, 1916, to Cornelius and Christine (Bakken) Hayenga in Andover. She attended and graduated from Andover High School. She received her college education at Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen. She taught for six years in the Bristol-Pierpont area.
She married Clarence Sigdestad on Oct. 22, 1942, in Andover. They made their home on the Sigdestad homestead in Lynn Township until 1973, when they retired. Two years later they moved to Webster.
She was an active member of Bergen Lutheran Church where she provided flowers from her garden for the altar during the summer for 27 years. After moving to Webster she became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she remained active.
Her hobbies included sewing, gardening and cooking. She was known for her kindness and thoughtfulness.
Survivors include one son, Leonard Sigdestad of San Bernardino, Calif.; two daughters, Ann Marie (Larry) Willette of Chelmsford, Mass., and Janet (Bob) Dedrickson of Groton; one sister, Thressie Zimmerman of Bristol; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Casketbearers will be Larrie Zimmerman, John Edward Sigdestad, David Sigdestad and Clarence Dedrickson.
Irene Wolfgram
Conde -- Mass of Christian burial for Irene Wolfgram, 90, of Conde and formerly of Turton, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church in Conde. The Rev. Dan Wolfgram will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Turton with Paetznick-Garness Funeral Chapel in Groton in charge of arrangements.
A wake service will be at 7 tonight at the church in Conde.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, and for one hour prior to the service Saturday, all at the church in Conde.
She died Tuesday, July 3, 2001, at Beverly Healthcare Center in Groton.
Irene Louise LaBrie was born Aug. 29, 1910, to Anatole 'Ben' and Frances (Klapperich) LaBrie in Turton. She attended the Little Flower Convent School in Turton and then assisted her family farming the LaBrie homestead near Turton.
She married Lee Wolfgram on July 5, 1943, in Turton. They farmed until the early 1950s, and then moved to Turton where her husband worked for the Chicago and NorthWestern railroad. They moved to Onida in 1974 to be closer to his railroad assignment, and then moved to Conde in 1979 when he retired. She was injured by a fall prior to her marriage which limited her activities. She became housebound in the mid-1980s. Her nephew, Don LaBrie of Aberdeen, helped to take care of her.
She enjoyed hosting family reunions.
Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Wolfgram of Jackson, Miss.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son in infancy, one brother and four sisters.
Casketbearers will be Rick Rainford, Donald Rahm, Kenneth Fortin, Richard Barrie, Jim Mannie and Ronald Frazier.

Rose Ernst
Roscoe -- The funeral for Rose Ernst, 95, of Roscoe will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Roscoe. The Rev. Winfried Schroeder will officiate.
Burial will be in the Morningside Cemetery in Roscoe with Miller Funeral Home in Bowdle in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Bowdle. There will also be visitation for one hour prior to the service Friday at the church in Roscoe.
She died Monday, July 2, 2001, at the Hosmer Senior Citizens Home.
Rose Schick was born Aug. 29, 1905, to Rosina (Oster) and William Schick on a farm near Bowdle. She was raised in the Bowdle area and attended rural school. She helped on the farm and at home following her education.
She married Emil Ernst on Dec. 13, 1925, in Hosmer. They lived and farmed on his family homestead 4 1/2 miles west of Roscoe. He died Oct. 1, 1981. The next spring, she moved into Roscoe. This is where she lived until entering the Hosmer Senior Citizens Home Sept. 2, 2000.
She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Roscoe and the Ladies Aid. She also belonged to the Roscoe Senior Citizens.
She enjoyed growing flowers and cooking.
Survivors include two sons, Lloyd A. (Ardella) Ernst of Gainesville, Va., and LeRoy H. (Arlene) Ernst of Bismarck, N.D.; one sister, Mathilda Kirschenmann of Roscoe; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, two brothers and five sisters.
Casketbearers will be her grandchildren.
