McIntosh -- Mass of Christian burial for Jason 'Ed' A. Edinger, 27, of McIntosh will be at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in McIntosh. The Rev. Steve Biegler, the Rev. Dennis Riss and Monsignor William O'Connell will officiate.
Irma Smith
Ipswich -- The funeral for Irma Smith, 75, of Ipswich will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church, 1732 S. Main St. in Aberdeen. The Rev. Dennis Hansen will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Aberdeen. The Hein Funeral Home of Ipswich is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
She died Saturday, April 21, 2001, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Irma Glaseman was born Jan. 12, 1926, to John and Mary (Stern) Glaseman in Ashley, N.D. She attended rural school there. She worked on various farms until she moved to Aberdeen. She then worked at Roth's Cafe, The Flame and Aberdeen Country Club.
She married Alvin O. Smith on Oct. 14, 1951, in Aberdeen. She worked at Tiffany's Laundry and then at the Dakota Midland Hospital. In 1987 they moved to Ipswich. He died in 1987. She continued to live in Ipswich.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Aberdeen.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy (Wayne) Wanner of Burnsville, Minn., and Glenda Thorsgaard of Mesa, Ariz.; one son, Lonnie Smith of Aberdeen; three sisters, Ida Feil of Redmond, Ore., Ella Feil of Ipswich and Viola Heinrich of Ashley; two brothers, Edwin Glaseman of Ipswich and Willis Glaseman of Aberdeen; six grand-children; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two grandsons and one brother.
Casketbearers will be Brandon Wanner of Burnsville, Willis Glaseman of Aberdeen, Rodney Glaseman of New Market, Minn., Steven Glaseman of Bismarck, N.D., Ricky Heinrich of Ashley and Todd Johnson of Duluth, Minn.
Elsie P. Oe
Aberdeen -- Mass of Christian burial for Elsie P. Oe, 87, of 1700 N. U.S. Highway 281 will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 215 N. Arch St. The Rev. Gregory Tschakert will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Schriver's Memorial Mortuary, 414 Fifth Ave. N.W., in charge of arrangements.
A rosary service will be at 6:30 tonight at the mortuary.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, all at the mortuary.
She died Friday, April 20, 2001, at the Aberdeen Living Center.
Elsie P. Rogers was born Oct. 18, 1913, to James and Pearl (Neil) Rogers in Isabel, where she attended school.
She married Alfred G. Oe on Feb. 17, 1930, in Woonsocket. They lived in Woonsocket until moving to Aberdeen in 1943. He died in 1972, and she had lived at the Aberdeen Living Center since 1989.
Survivors include five daughters, Mary Schaible of Colorado Springs, Colo., JoAnne (John) Eckert of Canton, Margaret Gisi and Theresa (Pat) Kuckelburg, both of Aberdeen, and Janice (Rodney) Johnson of Webster; one son, Edward D. Oe of La Mirada, Calif.; one brother, Robert Rogers of Deadwood; one sister, Dorothy Rogers of Oregon; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren.
Casketbearers will be grandsons, Jim Gisi, Tom Gisi, Joe Gisi, John Eckert, Bill Eckert and Mark Stern.
Leo M. Waletich
Waconia, Minn. -- Funeral Mass for Leo M. Waletich, 80, of Waconia and formerly of Sisseton, will be at 10:30 today at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Sisseton. The Rev. Gari Ruthenberg will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites by the Otto-Quande-Renville American Legion Post No. 50 and Fort Sisseton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3342. Cahill Funeral Chapel of Sisseton is in charge of arrangements.
He died Thursday, April 19, 2001, in Auburn West Nursing Home in Waconia.
Leo M. Waletich was born July 20, 1920, to John and Katherine (Weyer) Waletich in Eden. He attended grade school in Eden and high school in Roslyn. He graduated from South Dakota State University in Brookings with a degree in education. He entered the U.S. Army and served in Guam as a first lieutenant. He was discharged in August 1946.
He married Dorothy Fromelt in 1947. He taught school at the Roslyn and Sisseton high schools for 39 years. He also taught in the farm training program in New Effington. They lived in Sisseton for 25 years and moved to Grenville following his retirement in 1985. They moved to Waconia in 1994.
He was a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church in Sisseton, the St. Joseph Church in Grenville and the St. Joseph Church in Waconia. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the American Legion for 54 years.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and cooking at their steakhouse on Pickerel Lake.
Survivors include his wife of Waconia; four sons, Paul (Kathy) Waletich of Champlin, Minn., Wayne (Trish) Waletich of Rockford, Minn., Mike Waletich of Coon Rapids, Minn., and Terry (Jill) Waletich of Waconia; two daughters, Diane (Stephen) Brown of Chatfield, Minn., and Carol (Peter) Oetken of Tea; two brothers, Johnny Waletich and Peter Waletich, both of Langford; two sisters, Matilda Krista and Margaret Thuringer, both of Eden; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Casketbearers will be Jerry Hannasch, Sherman Hannasch, Roger Laubach, Joe Schuch, Gene Alwin and Duwayne Heitmann.
Frances Reiss
Trail City -- Mass of Christian burial for Frances Reiss, 79, of Trail City will be at 10:30 a.m. MDT today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Trail City. The Rev. Peter Kovarik will officiate.
Burial will be in the Trial City Cemetery. Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service today at the church in Trail City.
She died Friday, April 20, 2001, at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Mobridge.
Frances Anna Schell was born June 13, 1921, to James and Barbara (Klein) Schell in Hague, N.D. As a child she moved with her family to a farm northwest of Trail City, where she grew up. She attended the Reinbold Rural Grade School and later Trail City High School. Following her education she did housekeeping work in the Trail City area.
She married Adam Reiss on May 19, 1941, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Trail City. They made their home with his parents for about one year before moving to a farm four miles east of Trail City, where they lived, farmed and raised their family. In January 2001 she moved to the Prairie Sunset Village at Mobridge, where she had since resided.
She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She enjoyed living on the farm and watching and feeding wildlife.
Survivors include one daughter, Arlene (Tom) Wiggins of Raytown, Mo.; four sons, Raymond (Shirley) Reiss of Pollock, Marvin (Joan) Reiss of Wessington Springs, Ralph (JoAnn) Reiss of Fond du Lac, Wis., and Harvey (Gloria) Reiss of Mason City, Iowa; two brothers, William Schell of Mobridge and Paul Schell of Mandan, N.D.; one sister, Magdalene McLean of Northville, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three sisters and one grandson.
Casketbearers will be Brian Reiss, Michael Reiss, Kevin Reiss, Mark Reiss, Greg Gesinger and Tommy Ray Wiggins.
Doris Edna Fink
Aberdeen -- The funeral for Doris Edna Fink, 84, of 2222 Third Ave. S.E. will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, 502 S. Lincoln St. The Rev. Carol Iwerks will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Schriver's Memorial Mortuary, 414 Fifth Ave. N.W., is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at the mortuary and for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
She died Friday, April 20, 2001, at her residence.
Doris Edna Keaton was born Jan. 31, 1917, to Theodore and Clara (Orwal) Keaton in Pingree, N.D. She attended elementary school in Pingree and graduated from Jamestown High School in Jamestown, N.D.
She married Andrew Larson in 1934 in Jamestown. He died in 1935.
She married Melvin Winning in 1935 in Jamestown. He died, and she moved to Portland, Ore.
She married Henry P. Fink in 1941. They lived in Burtrum, Minn., where they started the Hub Supper Club, which they owned and operated for 23 years. They retired and moved to Henry, Neb. In 1985 they moved to Aberdeen.
She enjoyed computer games, cooking and sewing.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeane (Pius) Reis of Aberdeen and Carol (Bud) Brandt of Big Stone City; one sister, Donna Ford of Sun City, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, one great-great-grandson and one brother.
Casketbearers will be grandsons, Dale Brandt, Dave Taylor, Sonny Kaiser, Lyle Moser, Wayne Anderson and Tony Schwan.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home in Lemmon and for one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church in McIntosh.
He died as the result of an automobile accident east of McIntosh on Saturday, April 21, 2001.
