RUTH HENRY GRAY
Ruth Henry Gray, 85, widow of T.C. Gray, Jr., died January 3 2001, at El Camino Hospital in Sunnyvale, CA, after a short illness. A native of Maryville, Mrs. Gray was active in Girl Scouting, the Chilhowee Club, Community Theater at Maryville College and First United Methodist Church of Alcoa. She relocated to Sunnyvale in 1994.
Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Hughes and son-in-law, Gordon Hughes of Palo Alto, CA, Martha Yund and son-in-law, Jeff Yund of Arlington, VA; grandchildren, Gretchen Schroeder of Redwood City, CA, Kurt Schroeder of San Francisco, CA, Sara Hughes of Bauru, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Jason Hughes of Louisville, KY, and Karen Haggerty of Oakland, CA.
Funeral services will be held at 11.00 a.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Green officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. IVA WILLIAMS WALTERS
Iva Williams Walters, age 88 of Knoxville, died Monday, January 8, 2001, at Windwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: niece, Vivian Williams Bray of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Florence H. Williams of Maryville; great-niece and nephew; stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Roger and Shirley Walters, John and Peggy Walters; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Jean and Allen Fisher.
Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Bakers Creek cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. L.G. Hutchens officiating. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home in charge.

GALL, ESTELLE ZDZIEBLO, 84, Rockford, died Wednesday, Jan. 10, at her home.
She was employed by General Electric for more than 30 years in New York.
Survivors: brother, Ted Zdzieblo of Erwin; sisters, Helen Lippencott of New Jersey, Mary Zaremba of Watchung, N.Y.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Alcoa, with the family receiving friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. The body may be viewed after 1 p.m. today at Foothills Funeral Home.
HELTON, ALVIN E., 74, Taylor, Mich., died Sunday, Jan. 7, in Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Mich.
He was a retired Dock Foreman for the Roadway Express Trucking Co.

SPARKS, ANNA JACQUELINE, 70, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was an artist and art teacher.
