CHARLES E. CLINE SR.
Charles E. Cline Sr., age 83 of Maryville passed away Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Maryville Church of Christ, retired from Alcoa, member of the Alcoa 25 year club, and served in the US Navy during World War II. He was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Cline.
Survivors include: wife, Melborne Cline; son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. Cline Jr and Elaine of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Jessica and Haley Cline; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Maurice Hall of California; sisters, Arlie Dills of Kentucky and Opal McFall of Ohio.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2003 at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Herbert Byrd Jr. officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. NAOMI (YEAROUT) BREWER CORDA
Naomi (Yearout) Brewer Corda, passed away Friday, July 18, 2003 at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. She was born and raised in Blount County, lived in LaGrange, Illinois, and Las Vegas. Naomi was a member of Calvary Baptist Church before moving to Illinois.
Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Brewer, Jr., her parents, Elmer and Mae Yearout, and sister, Wanda Amburn.
She is survived by: husband, Harold Corda of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Sue Brewer (Thom) Thompson of Ten Mile, TN; grandson, John Thompson of Atlanta, GA and granddaughter, Susan Beth Thompson (Gene) Weedin and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Benjamin and Jessica Weedin of Springfield, Mo.
She is also survived by: sisters, Ruth Morton and Margaret (Earl) Giffin of Maryville, and Dena (Jim) Early of Knoxville; brothers, Ervil and Wayne (Maycle) Yearout of Maryville and D.A. Yearout of Waverly, TN; sister-in-law, Ada Brewer (Gene) Caylor of Alcoa; brothers-in-law, Claude Amburn of Maryville and Leonard Corda of Omaha, Neb.; and nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at Smith Mortuary. Friends are invited to a graveside service at Grandview cemetery on Tuesday, July 22, at 11:15 a.m. Rev. Charles Ballard will be officiating. James D. "Jim" Garner, age 61, of Maryville, died Friday, July 18, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his stepchildren, Buster and Jackie Burns; his parents, Hayes and Thelma Garner; and a sister, Dorothy Garner Swindle.
He is survived by his wife, Reva Burns Garner; stepchildren, Roger and Janice Burns and Bobby Burns; daughters, Deborah and Larry Rose and Kathy Lawson all of Maryville; brother and sisters-in-law, Dub and Mary Lee Hitson, Dennise and Susan Hitson, Ruth Campbell, Betty Younce, and Ella and Roger Smithey; special friends, David Lockett and Linda Pedigo.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 21, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Mildred L. Rymer, age 62, of Maryville died Friday, July 18, 2003 at the home of her daughter, Sandra Rymer Wilson in Dandridge. She attended Maryville-Alcoa Church of God. She was formerly employed with Alpha Industries for 13 years.
Preceded in death by: husband, James Arnol Rymer; son, Charles Rocky Rymer; parents, Lee Jones and Rosa Jones Merritt; brother, Denny Jones.
Survivors include: daughters, Connie and husband James Aulabaugh of Richmond, Va., Kathy A. Joe O. Tipton, Sr., age 66 of Greenback, passed away 12:40 a.m. Sunday, July 20, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Member of Morganton Acres Church of God.

Sarah Tinsley Cooke, age 51, of Strawberry Plains, formerly of Maryville, passed away Friday, July 18th, 2003. She was preceded in death by her father, Garland W. Tinsley.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Brent Stowers, and grandson, Dilyn Stowers of Tallahassee, FL. Mother and stepfather, Louise Tinsley and John M. McGinnis of Strawberry Plains. Sister, Susan Denton of Maryville. Sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Glen Bellisle of Maryville. Brothers, Randy Tinsley of Maryville, Phil Tinsley of Sarasota, Fl; and Robert Tinsley of Strawberry Plains. Stepsister and husband, Sammie and Dickie Johnson. REV. HORACE L. GENNOE
Rev. Horace L. Gennoe, age 88 of Maryville died Friday, July 18, 2003 at Sterling House of Maryville. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. He was a retired Director of Missions for the Chilhowee Baptist Association. He was also the former Director of Missions for the Cleveland Tennessee Baptist Association. He served as a Pastor in Decatur, TN for ten years.
Preceded in death by: Wife, Mary Julia Gennoe; Infant Son, Phillip Owen Gennoe.
Survivors include: Son, Lamar Gennoe of Maryville; Daughter and Son-in-law, Judy Ann & Patrick Young of Ohio; Grandchildren, Steve Gennoe, Brian Gennoe, Robby Gennoe, Tammy Hash, Cindy Pritchard, Jenise Carl, Julie Young; Nine Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Bill Gennoe of Chattanooga, TN.

FLOYD `RAY' HARRILL SR.
Floyd "Ray" Harrill, Sr., age 71, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a battle with cancer. Ray was a retired insurance salesman, working many years with Independent Life and Travelers Insurance Co.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Dora Ammons Harrill, parents, Floyd S. Harrill and Ada Ruth Humphrey, and half-brother, Jim Harrill.
Survivors include daughter, Dora Lynne Harrill; sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd Ray Jr. and Robin K. Harrill, Steve and Kathy Harrill, Michael and Jennifer Harrill; grandchildren, Emily and Katie Harrill, Christie and Colin Harrill; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Max Phillips and family, brother, Larry Harrill and family, half-sister, Pat Perry and family, sister-in-law, Earline Ammons Vaughn and family; other family: Mildred Harrill, Don Harrill, Doug and Robin Harrill, Alice Faye Keller, Edith Burns and Judy Morgan.
