ALICE FRANCIS BEATRICE TOWNSEND CLABOUGH
Alice Francis Beatrice Townsend Clabough, age 71, of Maryville went to be with the Lord March 10, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dora Belle Townsend; husband, William Clyde Clabough; sons, Rex Allen and Glen Cecil; daughter, Margaret Anne; grandson, Dunker; and sister, Margaret Rosson.
Survived by daughter, (Debbie) Clabough; sons and daughters-in- Law, David and Kathy Clabough, Ronnie and Mary Lou Clabough; sons, Billy, Donnie, and Timothy, all of Maryville.
She leaves behind 22 grandchildren; 30 great- grandchildren; sisters, Jo Swann of Knoxville and Katherine Cagle of Maynardville; brother, Johnny Townsend of Spring City. She also leaves to mourn her passing, numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
Services to be conducted by Rev. Wayne Friday. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Clabough's grandsons. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Memorial Funeral Home to help cover expenses. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday service to follow at 8:00 p.m. with the Rev. Wayne Friday officiating. Family and friends will meet at 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Louisville cemetery for graveside service.

DAVID BRIAN KELLER
David Brian Keller, age 27 of Maryville passed away Saturday morning, March 8, 2003, at U.T. Medical Center, Knoxville. He was employed by Out of Eden Landscaping Co. He was a hard worker and loved landscaping and being outdoors. He enjoyed landscaping for family members in his spare time. Loving father, devoted son, cherished brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.
Survivors: sons, Christian and Tyler; parents, Steve and Debbie Waters Keller of Maryville; sister, Kristi Keller of Maryville and fiancee, Wes Tate; grandparents, Arnold and Gerldean Waters of Maryville, Pearl Keller and the late Doyle Keller; aunts, Kim Waters of Maryville, Donna Sweet and husband, Rev. Ricky Sweet of Maryville; uncles, Chuck Waters and wife Linda of Maryville, the late Chris Waters, James Keller and wife Cathy, Roger Keller and wife Stephanie of Maryville, Kevin Keller and wife Rhonda Keller of Maryville; first cousins, Jamie, Jennie, Jessie, Taylor, Luke Keller, Jamie Pickens, Jeremy Keeble, Coty Waters, Megan Waters; several other cousins and family members; special friends, Larissa Cutshaw, Brad Yates, Jason Wilburn, Randy Pence.
Funeral service was 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2003, Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dale Buchanan, Rev. Ricky Sweet officiating. Family and friends will meet at Hopewell Baptist cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday morning for the interment service. The family received friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

ROSELLA MAE CAINE LEMASTER
Rosella Mae Caine Lemaster, age 83 of Maryville, formerly of Cincinnati, OH passed away March 10, 2003 at Colonial Hills Nursing Home.
Preceded in death by: parents, Walter and Rose Caine of Cincinnati, OH; sister, Beatrice Rich; daughter, Anabel Perry; grand-daughter, Jama Edwina Ogle.
Survivors include: husband, James R. Lemaster; daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Jimmy Ogle, Gale and Tommy Martin; son-in-law, Charles Perry; grandchildren, Jamie Perry, Jama Vance, Jeffrey Martin, Chris Ogle, and Cortney Ogle; great-grandchildren, Christal Perry, Caleb Vance, Cody James Ogle.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2003 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary. Family and friends will assemble at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2003 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 2003, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.

RAYMOND E. LOOPE
Raymond E. Loope, age 51 of Maryville passed away Monday, March 10, 2003 at the family home. Charter member of Louisville First Baptist Church, he served in the U.S. Army with the Golden Knights Parachute Team.
Survivors: mother, Wilma Booker Loope of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Mark Byrd, Alicia and David Banner, Stacey and Chad Porter all of Louisville; grandchildren, Mishayla and Emma Byrd, Timothy, Ethan, Faith Banner, Austin and Caden Porter; brothers, John Loope, Barry Loope, Kevin Loope; sisters, Carolyn Harrison, Terry Law; grandmother, Mrs. Bessie Loope of Knoxville; special friends, Tommy and Roger Bird, Mrs. Thelma Miller, Frank Law.
Private graveside service and interment will be at Holston College Cemetery, Rev. Greg Howard officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard, Bob Mize presiding. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Magnolia Chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

EDITH VIOLA MURRELL
Edith Viola Murrell, age 91 of Maryville passed away Monday morning, March 10, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Member of Rockford Baptist Church. preceded in death by husband, Fred Murrell; parents, I. E. and Margaret C. Tipton; sisters, Leona Smith, Marie Hill, Nora Dossett, Grace Romines, Sarah Walsh; brothers, Earl, Quinton, I. J., Ralph Tipton; brother-in-law, Floyd W. Hicks.
Survivors: sister and brother-in-law, Trula and George Griffin of Maryville; sister, Lucille Hicks of Maryville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2003 at Rockford Baptist Church, 3769 Old Knoxville Hwy., Rockford, Rev. Russ Maples officiating. Family and friends will meet at Clark's Grove cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Rockford Baptist Church. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

PAUL ALBERT ROSEBURGH
Paul Albert Roseburgh, age 88 of Alcoa, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Alcoa First Baptist Church and a retiree from the Aluminum Company of America with 45 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma Handley Roseburgh; and half-brother, William Adams.
Survivors include his children: daughter, Paula and Freddie Marsh of Alcoa; daughter, Wanda and Jim Barnard of Tallahassee, FL; son, Bill and Wendy Roseburgh of Maryville; daughter, Patricia and Larry Haynes of Maryville; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Richard Holden and Rev. Henry Linginfelter officiating. The interment will follow in Clark's Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Friday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

BETH A. STUART
Beth A. Stuart, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital, Maryville, TN, after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. She will be remembered for her love of family, her church and life itself. She was born April 15, 1936 in Dexter, Maine, the daughter of Norman and Shirley (Bailey) Chadbourne. Predeceased by her father, Norman Chadbourne; son, Douglas A. Stuart and a granddaughter, Sara Ann Stuart.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Alden Stuart of Maryville, TN; her mother, Shirley Chadbourne of St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Deanna and her husband, Galen Lander of Bangor, ME; three sons, Mark and his wife Christy Stuart of Crofton, MD, Gary and his wife Beth Stuart of Strawberry Plains, TN, Stephen D. Stuart of Knoxville, TN; also a daughter-in-law, Mary Stuart of Brewer, ME; four grandsons, Ryan Douglas Stuart Crofton, MD, Logan and Lane Stuart of Strawberry Plains, TN and Douglas A. Stuart of Brewer, ME; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Beth graduated from Dexter, Maine High School, attended Barrington College, Barrington, Rhode Island and graduated from the University of Maine with an Associates Degree in liberal arts. She retired as the Manager of Maryville College Bookstore in 1999. Prior to that, she was employed for many years by American Greeting in Bangor, Maine and also Manager of the bookstore of The University College of the University of Maine in Bangor, ME.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 14 from 6-8:00 p.m. with the funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at Monte Vista Baptist Church, 1735 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, TN with Rev. Jerry Mantooth, pastor of Monte Vista Baptist Church, officiating. Burial with a graveside service will be held in the spring at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Cambridge, Maine.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Monte Vista Baptist Church, 1735 Old Niles Ferry Road, Maryville, TN 37803 or to Maryville College, 502 Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37804.

DIXON, JAMES C., 73, Maryville, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Miller Funeral Home.

STEPP, JILLETTA ECHO, 40, Alcoa, died Monday, March 10, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Survivors: friend and companion of many years, Regina Wells of Alcoa; grandmother, Lucile Weiss of Alcoa; father and stepmother, William and Diana Stepp of Sunrise, Fla; sister, April Tucker of Tampa, Fla.
Memorial service 2 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home.

RUTH C. CHAMBERS
Ruth C. Chambers, age 82 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Maryville and retired from ALCOA.
Preceded in death by husband, Clifford S. Chambers; parents, Sherman and Maggie Claiborne; brother, Earl Claiborne; and sister, Nadean Harris.
Survivors include sisters, Carie Shelby of La Follette, Ruby Gibson of Cleveland, Opal Bounds of Knoxville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Larry Best officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the entombment service. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

OTHA M. `JACK' KERR
Otha M. 'Jack' Kerr, age 78 of Greeneville, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2003, at his residence. Retired truck driver for Triangle Pacific. He was very active in the V.F.W. Founded V.F.W. Post 5146 in Athens TN. He served in WWII and the Korean War. Past State Commander of the V.F.W. in 1980. Served on State and National committees. Currently served as representative on the Homeland Security Committee.
Preceded in death by: parents, Otha M. and Allie Harris Kerr; stepmother, Julia Claiborne; stepson, Rich Bright; brothers, M.L. Kerr and Ray Madison; first wife, Reba M. Kerr and second wife, Louise Kerr.
Survivors: son and daughter-in-law Jackie Leon and Jan Kerr of Gainesville, GA; two daughters and son-in-law, Nancy and Bill Bailey and Connie and Larry Baumgardner all of Athens, TN; three brothers, Virgil V. Kerr of North Carolina, Quenton Kerr and Rev. Carl Kerr both of Kansas City, Missouri; sister, Lillian Gamble of Maryville, TN; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Helen and J.C. French; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service Monday, March 10, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenelawn Memory Gardens. Rev. W.D. Garman officiating.
Active pallbearers were V.F.W. Past State Commanders of Morristown.
V.F.W. Post 5266 were in charge of Military graveside service. Family received friends Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Jeffers Mortuary. Jeffers Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
