Dutch Ellis Howard, age 75 passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife, Isabell Duncan Howard; parents, William (Bill) Howard and Julie Self Howard, Sisters: Nellie Howard Coleman and Nancy Howard Starritt, Brothers: Sherman, Ples, Roscoe, Charles, and Miles.
Survivors include his sons: Robert Howard of Maryville, Allen and wife Kaye of Tellico Plains, Clarence Howard Hicks of Madisonville, sister: Hettie Bookout of Madisonville. Grandchildren, Melissa Hunt, Daniel and Jesse of Tellico Plains. Special Nieces: Anna Lane, Ruby Lynch, Margie Giffin, and Rene Radford, nephews: Johnny and Allen Bookout, Fred Coleman, William Howard, Jay Howard, and Reece Howard.
Family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday With The Rev. Clyde Heaton and The Rev. James Atkins officiating. Burial will follow at The Citico cemetery in Vonore TN.

Bradley Stuart Yates, age 28 of Maryville passed away Wednesday morning, March 19, 2003. Employed by Franklin Concrete for the last 9 years. preceded in death by father, Gridley Yates Jr.; grandparents, Gridley Yates Sr., Otha J. Everett; uncle; J.W. Everett.

JUANITA G. BECK
Juanita G. Beck, age 81, passed away in Sevierville after a short stay at a nursing home facility and has now gone to be with Jesus and her loving family in Heaven. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church and had been a nurse for 30 years. She resided with her sister, Lois Hunt in Maryville. Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles C. Beck and parents, Wyatt H. and Dera Gregg.
Survivors include: sisters, Lois I. Hunt of Maryville and Lorene Turner of Cullman, AL; many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Paul Longmire and Rev. Carl E. Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home 982-6812.
IRENE ROGERS FICETOLI
Irene Rogers Ficetoli, age 92 of Alcoa, died Monday, March 17, 2003, at the family home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville.
Preceded in death by: parents, Governor and Nancy Rogers; sisters, Jessie Edwards and Melba Williams; brothers, Risley, James H., Harold, and Lorne Rogers.
Survivors include: husband, Anthony Ficeloti; son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Susan Wrinkle of Carlsbad, CA; daughter, Karene Smith of Midland, MI; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Voyd and Mona Rogers of Corryton, TN; sisters, Bonima Steele of Alcoa and Marie Hall of Maryville.

AULBA LEE SCOTT
Aulba Lee Scott, age 84, passed away Monday, March 17, 2003, at NHC-St. Mary's. She was born to William Francis Snodderly and Mary Love Bolinger on August 16, 1918 in Union County, Tennessee. She was a life long Methodist and DAV member. She was a loved and noted educator, author and historian. Her great-great-grandfather, Henry Snodderly founded Snodderly's Methodist Church, Hines Creek, Union County in 1893. She was preceded in death by husband of 54 years, J.V. Scott; sister, Pauline McLaughlin; twin grandchildren, Melissa and Tyler Scott; great-granddaughter, Loren Stewart; and nephew, Cloyd Onks, Jr.
Survivors include sons, Jon Victor Scott and wife, Connie of Knoxville; Douglas Lee Scott and wife, Jeannie of Blount County; and Kevin B. GORDON P. WOLFE
Gordon P. Wolfe, age 86 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church, was a retired Superintendent of the Aluminum Company of America and was a member of the 25 Year Service Club. He served with the U.S. Navy in World War II in the Southwest Pacific area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Allene McSpadden Wolfe; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Wolfe of Maryville and brother, William Wolfe of Knoxville.
Survivors include: son, Roger Wolfe of Knoxville; grandchildren, Nancy Wolfe Burkett of Media, PA and Daren Wolfe of Charleston, SC; sister, Catherine (Mrs. John) Landers of Maryville; brother, Harold Wolfe of Clinton, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Howard Olive officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Madisonville City cemetery in Madisonville for a military graveside service. Military honors will be provided by the Volunteer State Honor Guard. Boyd Beecher Bivens, age 79 of Friendsville died Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Friendsville Friends Meeting, an avid fisherman, member of ALCOA's 25-Year Club, and Veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
Preceded in death by: parents, Carra S. Bivens and Hettie Young Bivens; brother, Edward; sister, Maverette Crowder.
Survivors include: wife, Doris G. Paul Arthur (Dick) Campbell, age 78 of Maryville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Asbury Acres Nursing Center in Maryville, TN. He was a member of Maryville Baptist Tabernacle. He was a veteran of World War II. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company after 32 years of service. A graduate of Alcoa High School and captain of the football team.
Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Minnie Coulter Campbell; brothers, Bill, Ernie and Gordon Campbell; and sister, Carolyn Campbell.
Survivors include loving wife, Dorothy Laverne Campbell of Maryville; daughter, Bobbye Campbell of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Lynn McNally of Maryville; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Mel and Melba Harmon, Mike and Debbie Harmon all of Maryville; grandchildren, John Paul Hatcher, Gary McNally, Alicia and Aaron Clark, Natalie and Brad McAmis, Heather and Todd Anderson all of Maryville; great-grandson, Ridge Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Andrew Knox of Alcoa; brother and sister-in-law, John and Judy Campbell of Seneca, S.C.; several nieces and nephews.

Calvin A. Gregory, age 81 of Alcoa went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2003. He is preceded in death by his parents Luther and Ruth Leigh Gregory, and brother Ray Gregory. He was the perfect husband, father, and grandfather to his family.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lee Love Gregory; son and daughter-in-law, William (Bill) and Debbie Gregory of Fayetteville Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and William Crowe of Alcoa; son and daughter-in-law, Chester and Jennifer Gregory of Friendsville; grandchildren include Russell and Adam Gregory of Fayetteville Ga., Kara Crowe of Alcoa, Mark Crowe of Hendersonville N.C., and Josef Crowe of Kingston, Matthew Gregory and Sean Greene of Maryville, sisters-in-law, Lois Gregory of Alcoa, Faye Love of Maryville, Lucille Houk of Jefferson City; cousins, Hal Simmerly of Oak Ridge, Henrietta Hock, Bill Post and Calvin Shields of Maryville.
C.A. was an active member of Alcoa First Baptist Church having served as deacon and leader of the "Believers" senior adult group. He was retired from ALCOA and a member of the 25 year service club. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, and past commander of American Legion Post 153 and member of the "40&8." He was a volunteer fireman for Alcoa for many years. He was a descendant of Russell Gregory and member of Cades Cove Preservation Association. The funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Doug Sager and Dr. Richard Holden officiating. The interment will follow at Clark's Grove Cemetery. The "Believers" Sunday School Class will be honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. HOMER H. WALKER
Homer H. Walker, age 67 of Maryville, passed away Friday morning, March 14, 2003 at the family home. He was retired from the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict and a member of the 101st Airborne Division from Ft. Campbell, Kentucky. Survivors include wife, Karin Scherb Walker; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret Y. and David Henry of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Kristi Walker of Maryville; grandchildren, Austin Henry, Emily Walker and Noah Walker; sister, Jessie Irwin of Maryville; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Joyce Carpenter, Janie Fields, Molly Jones, Kenneth Lewis and Sara Henry.
Funeral service was 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2003 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Chaplain David Campbell and Rev. Tom Hatley officiated. Joann L. Beard age 67 of Maryville died March 13, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was born August 3, 1935 in Baxter Springs, KS. She was preceded in death by Parents: Edwin Mann and Fay Ingle, Husband: William H. Beard.
Survivors include her Son and Daughter-in-law: David and Karen Kerr, Grandchildren: Shane and Sarah Kerr, Amber and Robert Cross, Damien Kerr, and Faygan Kerr, Great Grandsons: Christopher and Corbin Kerr, Special Friend: Miss Helen Tarver.
