Kyle Blevins, age 70 of Maryville, passed away March 28, 2003 at his home. Former owner of Nina's Plants on John Sevier Highway. Member of Tipton Station Church of Christ. Veteran of US Air Force. preceded in death by: son, Kenny Blevins; parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors: wife of 46 years, Nina Blevins; stepson, Michael Debusk of Walland; stepdaughter, Judy Stephens of Illinois; son, Robert Blevins and wife Gail of Strawberry Plains; daughter, Madonna Huskey and husband Ronnie of Maryville; sons, David Blevins and wife Wanda of Maryville, Bruce Blevins and wife Kim of Kodak; 15 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Opie Lee Blevins of Hendersonville, TN; sister, Betty Humphrey of Johnson City, TN.
Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tipton Station Church of Christ. Rev. Dennis Murphy and Rev. Eric Bonner officiating. Interment at Henry Haynes Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
DONALD RAY BORDEN
Donald Ray Borden, age 64 of Alnwick, died Thursday, March 27, 2003 at the family home. He was a member of the Restoration International Outreach. He was a retired Police officer from the District of Columbia (Washington D.C.).
Preceded in death by: Parents, John & Nola Borden; Brothers, Charles and James Borden.
Survivors include: Wife, Wanda Mae Borden; Sons and Daughters-in-law, David & Peggy Borden of Alnwick and Johnathan & Serrena Borden of Pikeville, KY; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Donna & Danny Stewart of Alnwick, Debbie & J.C. Dockery of Alnwick, Dottie and Jeff Carruba of Greenback, Diane & Rick Farner of Maryville, and Bellaritha & Brad Page of Pikeville, KY; 13 Grandchildren; Six Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Virginia Harmon of VA and Martha Bruce of Maryville.
Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2003 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Ronnie Hepperly and Rev. Dale Buchanan officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 31, 2003 at Grandview Cemetery.

LUCILLE R. DUNLAP
Lucille R. Dunlap, age 89, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2003 at North Haven Nursing Home. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. preceded in death by husband, Clyde H. Dunlap.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Roy Hembree; grandson and wife, Randy and Linda Hembree; great-granddaughter, Katie Hembree; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Carl Oakes officiating. Friends may call at their convenience on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway.
FRANCES MAE HOUSTON GROSS
Frances Mae Houston Gross, age 73, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 25, 2003. Mrs. Gross was born in Knoxville and spent the majority of her life in this area. She was a family member of Riverview Baptist Church in Knoxville as well as a member of the Eastern Star where she was a past Worthy Matron of the Acacia Chapter. Frances loved doing crafts, woodworking, and bowling, and she also loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Murphy and Charlsie Murphy Smith; 3 sisters, Pat Ross, Georgia Hayes, and Janice Williams; and 1 brother, Rev. D.R. Murphy.
Survivors include her loving husband, Harlis Gross of the home; 6 daughters, Diana Houston of Knoxville, Donna Houston of Nashville, Charlsie Hobbs and husband Dan of Tehachapi, CA, Christine Williams and husband Denny of St. Pete, Fla., Darlene Gravenmier and husband Mike of Orlando, Fla., and Brenda Evans and husband Dan of Greenback, TN; 3 stepchildren, Marie Vandergriff and husband Sam, Betty Gross, and Danny Gross and wife Darlene all of Knoxville; 27 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Gross will be Friday, March 28, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Highland South Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in the Highland South Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Hancock officiating. SUZANNE STICKMAN JENNINGS
Suzanne Stickman Jennings, age 68 of Maryville, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003 at Baptist Hospital. She was born July 16, 1934 in Clarksburg, WV to Fred and Lillian Stickman. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Blount Memorial Hospital Junior Auxiliary, Past President of Easton Memorial Hospital Junior Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary. She graduated from Ohio University in 1956 with BA degree and from Salisbury State University in 1973 with an MA Degree and Ed.s. She taught school and chaired the English Department at Easton High School in Easton, MD for 11 years and piloted the National Reading Program. She volunteered her retirement time to various charities and Blount Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. preceded in death by: parents, Fred and Lillian Stickman; brother, Jack Stickman.
Survivors include: husband, Allen K. Jennings of Maryville, TN; children, Valerie Tipton, Mark Jennings, Vanessa Kennedy, and Deborah McNey; grandchildren, Jeffrey Tipton, Andrew Tipton, and Tim Tipton, Erin Weissman, Ben Weissman, Rachell Weissman, Sommer Kennedy, and Emma Kennedy; sister, Yvette Heitzeg.
Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Father Alex Waraska officiating. Allison H. "Sonny" Keeble Sr., Age 88 of Maryville, passed away Friday March 28th, 2003 at U.T. Hospital. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville, He was retired from ALCOA and a member of the Alcoa 25 Year Club, Blount County Court, Blount Memorial Hospital Board, and Judge Pro. Tem.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Keeble; son and daughter-in-law, Allison and Marion Keeble Jr., of Ringgold, GA; son, Phillip Keeble, of Maryville; grandchildren, Allison Keeble III, of Nashville and Pat Keeble, of California; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and J.C. Everhart, of Maryville, Dorothy and H.A. Scott Jr., of Lynchburg, VA; brother, Harold V. Keeble, of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, John and Belva Keeble, of Columbia, SC.
Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Sunday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard and Rev. Beecher Whitehead officiating. Interment will be 11:00 A.M. Monday in Grandview Cemetery.

Nellie Huskey Locke, age 81 passed away March 27, 2003. She was preceded in death by her Husband; Don L. Locke. Sister: Blanche Rucks. Brother: Burl Huskey.

MELINDA ANN MITCHELL
Melinda Ann Mitchell, age 46 of Atlanta, GA, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Grady Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Maryville. She was a 25-year employee of the Southern Company in Atlanta.
Preceded in death by: Father, Ralph H. Mitchell; Sister, Melissa M. Mitchell.
Survivors include: Mother, Dorotha T. Mitchell of Maryville; Brother, Michael R. Mitchell and wife, Amy D. Mitchell of Atlanta; Nieces, Emily, Hannah, and Abigail Mitchell.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 29, 2003 in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Paul Longmire officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in Grandview Cemetery.

JULIA SUE MORROW
Julia Sue Morrow, age 92 of Maryville died Thursday, March 27, 2003 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a member of Cades Cove Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Preceded in death by: husband, Julian Morrow; parents, David and Julia Thompson; sons, David Morrow and Dan Morrow; daughter, Ellen Fox.
Survivors include: sons, Bill Morrow of Lenoir City, Jerry Morrow of Maryville, and Hoyle Morrow of Knoxville; daughter, Faye Ingle of Maryville; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.

BEVERLY ANN OSTHEIMER
Beverly Ann Ostheimer, age 50 of Maryville passed away Sunday, March 2, 2003 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice in Knoxville after a courageous 10 year battle with breast cancer. preceded in death by parents, Earnest and Bernice Kallison; and brother, Ken Kallison.
Survivors include loving husband, Mark Ostheimer; brothers, Ron, Stan, Don and Wayne Kallison all of New York; sister, Barbara Wright of New York and several nieces and nephews.
Beverly was cremated and a gathering of friends for the celebration of her life will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2003, at the family home, 416 Harbor Town Drive, Maryville. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

Cody Lee Thomas, 12 years old born March 28, 1990 departed this world on March 25, 2003.
