Bongja Choi Park, age 63 of Alcoa, died Friday, January 10, 2003 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church and a Librarian at Maryville College. preceded in death by her parents, Hae Choi and Myung Rim Choi; brother, Dr. C.H. Choi.
Survivors include, husband, Dr. Ken Park; son Andrew Park of Alcoa; brother, C. S. Choi of Korea; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Gill Chang of Maryville; sister, J. S. Kim of Korea.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2003 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Ann Brunger and Rev. Dr. Emily Anderson and Rev. D. W. Park officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to New Providence Presbyterian Church, Highland Presbyterian Church, Korean Presbyterian Church of Knoxville, or Maryville College.
Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Monday at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
ANNA MARIA SAVOURNIN
Anna Maria Savournin, age 79 of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 10th, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Survivors include: husband, Armando Savournin. Sister, Cox Hollerman. Brother, Har Denelzen. Nephew, Jan Blaiser of the Netherlands. Sister-in-law, Maria Denise Savournin. Brothers-in-law, Ramone Alberti Minquez and Roger Savournin.

Charley W. Duncan, age 75 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2003 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church where he served as treasurer for 17 years and a deacon for 43 years.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, Johnny R. & Louise Duncan; Brother, Henry Duncan; Sister, Isabelle Duncan Summey.
Survivors include: Wife of 46 years, Jane McDonald Duncan; Daughter and Son-in-law, Janice and Harold Ritchey; Grandchildren, Matthew and Maleia Ritchey all of Maryville; Brother and Sister-in-law, Harvey and Georgia Duncan; Brothers, Howard Duncan of Farmland, IN and Herbert and Hazel Duncan of Maryville; Sisters-in-law, Minnie Grindstaff and Ruth McDonald of Maryville and Gradie Duncan of Farmland, IN; Brother-in-law, John Summey of Vonore; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2003 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Pastor Scott Campbell of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church and Rev. Obie Campbell officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 12, 2002 at Old Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ella V. Mashburn, age 85 of Blount County, died Thursday, January 9, 2003 at North Haven Nursing Home. She was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Preceded in death by: Husband, Claude Mashburn.
Survivors include: Son and Daughter-in-law, Mell & Rosa Mashburn of Knoxville; Daughter and Son-in-law, Marilyn & Craig Graham of Knoxville; Daughter, Peggy Palmer of Colorado; Seven Grandchildren; Numerous Great-Grandchildren.

Ada Priscilla Sellers Vaughn
Ada Priscilla Sellers Vaughn, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Friday, January 10, 2003 at the home of her son in Cookville. She was born on July 19, 1919 in Townsend to Gaither Blending and Janie Boring. She was a member of Mt. View Church of God and a homemaker.
Preceded in death by husband, Walter J. Vaughn Jr., son, Raymond Sellers, sisters, Flora Garland, Dora L. Frye, Ethel Mynatt and brothers, Charlie, Tommie and James Sellers.

Anna Mae Dockery, age 65 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2003 at Fairpark Health Care Center. preceded in death by parents, Alexander and Bessie Dockery; sisters, Diane England and Faye Willocks and also Raymond Rymer.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Mary Anna and Bill Berryman of Alabama and Teresa M. Dockery of Maryville; sisters, Margaret Dockery, Helen Teffeteller, Mable Roy all of Maryville and Dorothy James of Georgia; brothers, Jimmy Dockery and Charlie Dockery both of Maryville; special friends, Bobbie McCoy and Penny Walker both of Maryville; several nieces and nephews.

MILDRED L. MOORE
Mildred L. Moore, age 79 of Maryville, died Thursday, January 9, 2003 at Maryville Healthcare Center. She was preceded in death by: husband, Lawrence Clifford Moore; and her brother, Earl Morris.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Robert and Jane Moore of Mobile, AL, and Jerry and Janie Moore of Maryville; grandson, Mitchell Moore and wife, Genevieve Moore; great-grandchildren, Kristian Breeden and Taylor Moore; sisters, Sue Haney and Elizabeth Johnson.
Family and friends will assemble for private graveside services and interment 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2003 at Grandview Cemetery. RUTH KNIGHT SHARP
Ruth Knight Sharp, age 84 of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2003. Member of Galilee Baptist Church for over 55 years. She was known for her love of God's word and her church. preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Mack Sharp; and daughter-in-law, Deloris B. Sharp.
She is survived by son, Gary Lynn Sharp; sister, Johnnie Mae Kelly of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Galilee Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Guy Milam and Rev. Dino Bray officiating. Wanda Beaver Tipton, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends Thursday, January 09, 2003. She Loved the Lord and was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her kindness to everyone. She will be greatly missed by her devoted family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Chester O. Tipton; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Wayne Lambert, Jane and Bill May, Laura and Greg Howard; sons and daughters-in-law, Otis and Becky Tipton, Ray and Kristi Tipton; grandchildren, Eric Lambert, Andrew, Jacob, Matthew, and Caleb Howard and Tyler Tipton; great-grandsons, Joshua and Matthew Lambert; brothers, Kenneth, Ray, and Harold Beaver; special friends, Pat Cox, Ina Hicks, and Anna McBee.

Mrs. Cleo Nicely Walker, age 86 of Knoxville passed away 12:35 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2003 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. She was a member of Pennington Chapel Baptist Church. preceded in death by parents, Daniel Rector and Mary Ann Nicely; brothers, Clarence Nicely, Clyde Nicely, Claude Nicely; sisters, Ethel Cobble, Pearl Bailey, Minnie Cabbage, Lola Davis.
Survivors: husband of 59 years, Earl B. Walker, Knoxville; sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Roberta Walker, Maryville, Larry and Anne Walker, Maynardville; daughter, Charlotte Smalley, Chattanooga; four grandchildren, Daniel, Jonathan and Rebekah Walker, Katherine Smalley; brother, Carl Nicely, Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.

Janet B. Wells, age 78 of Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at 7:35 p.m. preceded in death by husband, Lt. Col. Joseph L. Wells, USAF (Retired).
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Charles J. and Lorraine Wells of Tallahassee, Florida; daughter, Kathy J. Wells of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Marty and Doug Hampton of Maryville; grandchildren, Joey Hampton, Jesse Hampton, Jasmine Freeman-Wells, Jodie Wells, Jamie Wells, and Monique Gonzalez; and special friends, Ms. Norma Godsea, Ms. Kathryn Pierotti, Ms. Virginia Dalton, and Ms. Kim Lissick, and friend and home health nurse, Vriginia. Special thanks to the Manorhouse staff for their special care, nurturing and friendship over the years and to Sacred Heart for spiritual encouragement.

Trina Diane Belcher, age 43 of Maryville, passed away Monday, January 6, 2003, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Hatcher.
Survivors include: husband, Harold Belcher; mother, Vonda Hatcher; brother, Danny Hatcher; nephew, Ryan; stepmother, Eva Hatcher; sister-in-law, Sandra Belcher; grandfather, Walter Lawhon; several aunts, uncles, cousins, stepbrothers and stepsisters.
