Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Jim Ogle of Gatlinburg, Rebecca and Skip Brooks of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; son, John Steven Peters of Rockford; granddaughter, Kelly Ogle Wolfe and husband, Scottie; grandchildren, John Zachary Brooks, Erin Maria Brooks, Sean Michael Peters, Ashley Wagner; stepdaughter and husband, Cathy and Jerry Waitinas of Oliver Springs, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Willadean and Lamar Higdon of Maryville; sisters, Alda Maranville of Maryville, Virginia Jo Dean of Maryville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2003 Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel. Family and friends will meet at Bethel cemetery in Townsend at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning for the interment service. LOUISE FORRESTER HURST
Louise Forrester Hurst, 64 of Knoxville died Tuesday January 21, 2003. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen Harman Forrester; brothers, Leroy and Frank Eugene Forrester; son, Rickey Stallans.
She is survived by her children, Joe Walker, Doris Dillingham, Mickey Stallans, Vickey Stallans, Danny Henry, and Gena Wise; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special great granddaughter, Miracle Kelso; sisters, Marie Righi, Linda Sneed; brothers and sister-in-law, Jay and Linda Forrester, Ray Forrester.
Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville with Rev. Gerald Lawson officiating. The family will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens in Alcoa at 4:00 p.m. Friday for a graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home.
NELVIN CORA MILLER KELLY
Mrs. Nelvin Cora Miller Kelly, age 89, of Rock Hill, SC, died Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at Rock Hill Health Care, Inc. Native of Belmont, NC. Mrs. Kelly was of the Baptist faith and a retiree of Arcade Mill with 44 years of service. preceded in death by parents, Edgar Jerome Miller and Cora Adline Thomas Miller; husband, James Edward Kelly.
Surviving Mrs. Kelly are her sons, Carroll Kelly of Rock Hill, Thomas Kelly of Maryville, TN; her daughter, Peggy Kelly Pace of Greenville, NC; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2003 at Laurelwood cemetery with Rev. Tim Boan officiating. Visitation will be Friday, January 23 from 7:00 until 8:30 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel and at other times at the home of her son, Carroll Kelly, 717 Greenbriar Ave., Rock Hill, SC. Charles Ray McKenzie, age 64 of Walland passed away Tuesday afternoon January 21, 2003 at Baptist Hospital of East Tennessee, Knoxville. Veteran of the U.S. Army. preceded in death by parents, Gay and Beulah McKenzie; brother, Raymond McKenzie.

Wanda Maebell Campbell, age 62, of Maryville passed away Monday morning January 20, 2003, at the family home. Member of Rocky Branch Holiness Church. She loved music and she loved her church. preceded in death by father, Lee Jennings.

KATHERINE SMITH SIMPSON DRY
Katherine Smith Simpson Dry of Sun City, Arizona, died January 15, 2003, at Sun Health Hospice in Peoria, Arizona. Kaye was born at Kiser Station in Blount County and graduated from Friendsville High School. She attended Tennessee Weslyan College and met and married
Douglas Simpson while a student there. They moved to Arizona a few years after. Mr. Simpson died in Winslow, Arizona, in 1970.
Kaye is survived by her husband, M. Leon Dry; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Lawrence Hudson of Peoria, Arizona; sons, Sam Simpson of Woodway, Texas and Jeff Simpson of Scotsdale, Arizona, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers, Kreis Smith of Stamford, CT, Glen (Aileen) Smith of Atlanta, John (Janet) Smith of Maryville; and sister, Dora Lynn and husband Robert Kryder of Knoxville.
A memorial service is planned at the Olive Branch Senior Center in Sun City, Arizona January 24.

Conrad Malcom Ellis, age 71 of Maryville passed away Monday morning January 20, 2003, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Member of Alcoa/Maryville Church of God. Retired from General Motors, Veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean Conflict.

Kathryn Dunn Harrison, age 87 of Maryville died Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at Asbury Acres Health Center. She was one of the oldest members of Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church. She worked at The Bank of Maryville for many years. preceded in death by parents, Patrick and Lewella Dunn; sister, Grace Dunn; brother, Clifton Dunn.
Survivors include husband, Frank Harrison; brothers, Calvin Dunn and John Dunn both of Townsend; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
