BLANCHE HEADRICK
Blanche Headrick, 82, of Sevierville passed away Saturday, October 5, 2002 at her residence.
Mrs. Headrick was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Headrick; parents, Will and Martha Reagan Huskey; brother, Frank Huskey; sisters, Lottie McFall and Maggie Huskey.
Blanche is survived by her daughter, Vickie Webb and husband Darrell of Maryville; grandchildren, Connie Williams of Maryville, Tracy Gribble of Maryville, Kent McCarter and wife Robin of Sevierville; great grandchildren, Barry and Brooke Williams, Courtney Gribble, Brittany and Tiffany McCarter; special niece, Ruth Cole; great nephew, Keith Cole and wife Margaret; special friend, Anna Lee Headrick.
Service will be 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 7 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. Roy Gose officiating. Interment will be 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 8 at Headrick Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, October 8 at Rawlings Funeral Home. .
E. RAY LILLARD
E. Ray Lillard, age 80 of Maryville passed away Saturday, October 5, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Clover Hill Presbyterian Church and retired from Blount County Schools after 33 years of service. Mr. Lillard coached Walland and Everett basketball. He retired from Heritage High School as Athletic Director and farmed from 1982-1996.
Preceded in death by parents, Rev. Horace and Nixie Young Lillard; brothers, Gene E. and James D. Lillard.
Survivors include: wife, Barbara A. Lillard; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Dick Johnston; sister, Norma Lynn, all of Maryville.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Clover Hill Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Gilliland officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. DORA MAE NICHOLS
Dora Mae Nichols, age 80 of Maryville passed away Saturday evening, October 5, 2002 at the family home. She was of the Baptist Faith. Retired from Blount Memorial Hospital. preceded in death by husband, Paul Nichols; parents, Sam and Pearl Garner Henry; brother, Lloyd (Junior) Henry; half-brother, Elmer Henry; half-sisters, Estel Martin, Lula Monday.
Survivors: sisters, Gladys Graves, Ola Clark both of Maryville, Bonnie Watson of Walland; son and daughter-in-law, Paul E. and Phyllis A. Nichols of Maryville; granddaughter and husband, Donna and Bill Long of Maryville; great grandchildren, Loren, James Paul Long; several nieces and nephews.

Clayton S. Rice, age 91, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
Survivors: wife, Ida Fay Rice; daughters and son-in-law, Jean Taylor, Joyce and Ted Yasko; grandchildren, Teri Amsler and Jodi Taylor; great-grandchildren, Douglas, Michael, Emily and Devon Amsler, Carter and Abby Taylor; several nephews.

Margaret Cook Boring, age 87, of Maryville, died Friday evening October 4, 2002, at her residence. She was a long time member of East Alcoa Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Lee C. Boring, her Parents: Earnest and Della Cook. Brother: Bill Cook. Sister: Hazel Whitehead.

Kyle K. Bryant, age 58, of Maryville, died Friday, October 4, 2002, at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Ina R. Bryant and his brother, Woody Bryant. Duane Lee Jensen 69 of Maryville died Thursday October 3, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Jane Jensen, His children: Jackie & Craig Davis of New Castle, IN, Jim & Jackie Jensen of Indianapolis, IN, Joanne & Chris Brazas of Hampshire, IN, Six Grandchildren, One Great Grandchild. Rodney Wayne Martin, age 48, of Maryville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2002. Rodney faithfully attended New Hope Baptist Church in Maryville and a long-time member of Friendsville First Baptist Church in Friendsville. He was a devoted, giving, and genuine Christian man who was very active in local missions and who was loved by all who knew him. He was a long-time employee of ALCOA Aluminum Company for 29 years and an avid golfer. preceded in death by: Father, Lee Clarence Martin; Father-in-law, Wm. Roy Chambers.

Ramsey, Ted T. age 90 of Rockford, died Thursday, October 3, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Mt. View United Methodist Church in Knoxville. Ted wrote and published his autobiography at the age of 85 entitled Right Before My Eyes. preceded in death by: Parents, Randle & Vina Ramsey; Wife, Edna G. Ramsey; 3 Brothers; 2 Sisters.
Survivors include: Wife, Sylvia Fraim Ramsey; Son and Daughter-in-law, Dr. T. Alan & Helen Ramsey of Silver Spring, MD; Step-son and Wife, Melvin C. & Carol T. Burnette of Morristown. Freida McCarter Yarnell, age 73 of Gatlinburg passed away Thursday October 3, 2002 at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Gatlinburg. She was preceded in death by her parents B. Lee and Esamae McCarter.
Survivors: Husband: James Yarnell, Sr; Children: Terry Maney and wife Denise of Gatlinburg; James Yarnell, Jr. and wife Tina of Asheville, N.C.; Grandchildren: Travis Maney, Camille Allen, Aramis Maney, Amanda Yarnell, Madisson Yarnell; Sister: Lela Luther, of Gatlinburg.

INEZ CHADWICK
Inez Chadwick, age 88 of Oak Ridge, passed away Monday, September 30, 2002, at the estates of Oak Ridge Assisted Living facility. Ms. Chadwick was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur L. Chadwick, a son Marion (Tom) Chadwick, and also by three brothers and one sister.
Survived by three sons; Bill Chadwick of San Francisco, CA, Arnold Chadwick, of Dallas, TX, and Doyle Chadwick of Claxton. Two grandsons, Douglas and Bradley Chadwick of Dallas, TX, and two granddaughters, Lorilee Chadwick of Kingston, TN, and Christy Long of Pelham, AL. Ms. Chadwick is also survived by three brothers, Glen Killian, Mark Killian and B.E. Killian and by three sisters, Mildred Davis, Elva Maples and Barbara Dockins.
The family will receive friends Saturday morning, October 5, 2002, from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Woodhaven Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 2:15 Saturday afternoon at Kingston Memorial Gardens for a 2:30 Committal Service.
