She was employed at Eastern State Psychiatric Hospital from 1964 until her retirement in 1977 as a psychiatric aide in the drug and alcohol unit.
Survivors: sons, Dr. Horace Blanton of Knoxville, Robert Blanton and Steve Blanton, both of Lenoir City; daughters, Evelyn Hetman of Smyrna; Carol Smith of Pembrooke Pines, Fla., and Janice Graves of Knoxville; brother, Ed Sturgill of Pound, Va.; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow at Lake View Cemetery.
SHELLEY, RICHARD MICHAEL, 54, Maryville, died Saturday, Jan. 27, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville.
Survivors: mother, Hazel A. Shelley of Maryville; brother, Randall Shelley of Seymour; sisters, Karen Dale Kirk of Rockford, Vicki Sullivan of Maryville, Patricia Beck of Illinois, Teena Curtis of North Carolina.
Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 1 p.m. Tuesday for graveside service and interment. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home.
WILSON, PAUL L., 75, Maryville, died Friday, Jan. 26, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Wilson was employed by McNutts for 30 years and Delmar Haynes for 13 years.
Survivors: wife, Mary Alice Wilson; sons, Richard Paul Wilson, Robert L. Wilson all of Maryville; four grandchildren; brothers, Wade Wilson of Alabama, Charlie Wilson, Jesse Wilson and Vernon Wilson all of Maryville; sister, Polly Robinson of North Carolina.

MCCLURE, CATHERINE TEMPLETON, 91, Maryville, died Sunday, Jan. 28, at Blount Memorial Hospital. In her years of teaching nursing, she taught at the University of Pittsburgh, at Penn State University and was dean of women at Westminster College. She specialized in human relations and psychology as well as nursing education and rehabilitative nursing.
Survivors: sisters, Margaret Cummings and Janet McClure, both of Maryville.
Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel for the interment service. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Providence Presbyterian Church.
