LILLIE ROGERS
Lillie Rogers, age 65, of Seymour, TN died Sunday morning, November 18, 2001, at the family home. She was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church, a devoted wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Rogers; sisters, Ila Garner, Alice Byrley, Alene Cunningham and Eva Caughron; brothers, Albert Graves and Wayne Graves.
Survivors include husband, Bruce Rogers of Seymour, TN; daughter, Joyce Hilliard Rogers of Walland, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Nellie Graves of Maryville, TN; sisters, Nellie Cagle of Walland, TN and Willie Jean Miller of Maryville, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Glen Green of Walland, TN; grandchildren, Bruce Hilliard, Chris (and wife, Denisa) Hilliard; great grandchild, Lilly Hilliard.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2001 at Cold Springs Baptist Church at Walland with the Rev. Horace Brown officiating. Interment will be at Ellejoy cemetery following the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Dotson Funeral Home, 4838 Wildwood Road, Wildwood. (984-5959)

AMAGENE ROSA PORTER SCOTT
Amagene Rosa Porter Scott, age 86 of Alcoa passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2001 at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by husband Leon Scott, brothers Leroy and Paul Porter. She was a member of the Mother Love Baptist Church in Louisville, TN and a very active member in her church and its missions. She taught piano to many students in the Blount County area.
Survivors include her daughter Leona Styles (Bob) of Houston, Texas. Sons: Leon Gordon Scott (Reba), Michael Leroy Scott (Vickie), and Wayne Scott (Shirley). A host of nieces, and nephews and friends.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2001 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with the Rev. Riggins Earl, Rev. Cordell Simpson and Rev. Joe Colquitt officiating. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Building Fund Mother Love Baptist Church, 3919 Wrights Ferry Road, Louisville, TN 37777. Family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2001 at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, TN 865-983-1000 .

RONALD EDWIN WHITEHOUSE
Ronald Edwin Whitehouse, 67, Maryville, TN, beloved husband of Arlene May Whitehouse, departed Sunday, November 18, 2001 at their residence. Born in Chicago, IL to the late Edwin G. and Evelyn B. Whitehouse. He was a 1952 graduate of South Shore High School. He has been a 32nd Degree Mason since 1981; he belonged to the Mt. Star Lodge #197. He was also a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, National Rifle Association, Gold Wing Road Riders Association, and the Republican National Committee. His accomplishments in life were many. He served with the Army National Guard, Founder and President of the Bass Lake Businessmen's Association, President of the Bass Lake Lion's Club, served on the Volunteer Fire Department, the Rescue Squad and the Auxiliary Police.
He was a man of many talents ranging from a Certified Machinist, Commercial Pilot, Security Installation, Transportation, Demolition Expert, and Construction in both Commercial and Residential Land Development.
In addition to his loving wife of 44 years, Arlene, he is survived by his sister, Susan (Keith) Gardner, Sevierville, TN; step-mother, Carol Whitehouse, Sevierville, TN; three daughters and one son, Linda (Thomas) Voll, Columbus, OH, Rhonda Whitehouse, Sevierville, TN, Edwin Whitehouse, Maryville, TN, Debra Whitehouse, Clinton, TN; seven grandchildren, Joshua Voll, Jefferson City, TN, Travis, Autumn and Alyssa Voll, Columbus, OH, Amanda Whitehouse, Berea, KY, Jamie and Elijah Whitehouse, Clinton, TN; one niece, Amy Zickefoose; and one great-niece, Bretlyn Zickefoose, Powell, TN; and his little guardian, Shadow.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2001 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and funeral service will be held at Smith Mortuary, 1402 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made out to 'Shriners Hospital for Children', and sent to the 'Lexington Shrine Hospital, 1900 Richmond Rd., Lexington, KY, 40502'. He will be sadly missed by many, but will always be with us in our hearts.

BINGHAM, DORA ELLEN,
2001-11-19
93, died Friday, Nov. 16, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

DOLINGER, THOMAS 'FRANK', 79, Rainelle, W. Va. died Saturday, Nov. 17, at University of Tennessee Medical Center after a short illness.
Survivors: daughters, Jean Yates, Maryville, Jane Dilley, Rainelle, W. Va.; three granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in Rainelle, W. Va. Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Rainelle.

GARLAND, CASEY ROBERT, (02-06-2002)
16, Piney Flats, died Monday, Feb. 4, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was an eleventh grade student at Sullivan East High School. Survivors: father, Larry A. Garland of Piney Flats; mother, Deirdre Goodpasture Garland of Knoxville; paternal grandmother, Leola Garland of Jonesborough; maternal grandmother, Billie D. Wade of Bristol; brother, Skyler Garland, and sister, Jessica Perez, both of Piney Flats.

PIERCE, CARMELITA IVEY,

RODDY MCKEITHEN
Roddy McKeithen, a native of Alcoa, died Frieday, February 1, 2002, at Fairpark Healthcare center, four days after retruning home from Portsmouth, Ohio. McKeithen had lived in Ohio for several years before becoming ill. McKeithen was born on September 26, 1932. He was a Korean War veteran. preceded in death by father, Walter Roddy, and brother, Ralph Paul 'R.P.' Roddy, and grandparents, Alford and Ollie Day, Thomas and Alice Roddy.
Survivors: wife, Mary, daughters, Brenda and Angelia, and son, Frank. Mother, Vesta Roddy, brother, Larry Roddy of Alcoa, sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen (Otis) Tanks, of Manhattan, NY, Drewena (Grady) Knighton, of Alcoa, Carroll (Robert) Henry, Rockford, Kaye Tate, Alcoa, aunt and uncle, Elaine and Ambus Simpson, aunt, Bessie Turner, Rockwood, a devoted cousin, Connie Gilchrist White, Portsmouth, Ohio, other cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Devoted friends: Robert Howard, Joyce Jordan, Alcoa, Phil Haywood, Portsmouth, Ohio.
Friends are welcome at the home of Mrs. Vesta Roddy, 255 W. Newcomen St., Alcoa. Foothills Funeral Home will receive relatives and friends after 12:00 Noon on Monday, Feb. 4, 2002. INA C. TEFFETELLER
Ina C. Teffeteller, age 94 of Maryville, died Friday, February 1, 2002, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Maryville First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, J. Leon Teffeteller; mother and father, J.W. and Lila Clabough; brother, Rex Clabough; sister, Beulah Gray; son-in-law, Guy M. Badgett.
Survivors include: daughter, Betty Badgett; daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Harold Lambert; grandchildren, Mac and Lynn Badgett of Marietta, Ga., Barbara and Jack Donaldson of San Antonio, TX, George and Kathy Painter, Randy and Laney Lambert, and Sherry and Karl Miller, all of Maryville; 14 great- grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lela Burnette and Nevada Clark; brother, J.W. Clabough, Jr.; sister-in-law, Ruth Clabough; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Grandview cemetery with Rev. Oliver 'Buzz' Thomas officiating. BEATRICE W. BORDEN
Beatrice W. Borden, age 89 of Lenoir City, passed away Friday, February 1, 2002 at the Woods Presbyterian Home in Sweetwater. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lenoir City. She was retired from Alcoa. Beatrice was a 25 year club member. preceded in death by husband, Odie Borden; and son, Bob Borden.
Survived by son, Holland Borden and wife, Delois of Lenoir City; daughter-in-law, Joyce Borden of Greenback; grandchildren, Ronald E. Borden and wife, Susan, of Maryville, David Michael Borden of Magnolia, Ark., Larry Borden and wife, Cathy, Jerry Borden and wife, Peggy, Darell (Scotter) Borden and wife, Vicky, and Terri Wooten, all of Greenback; several great-grandchildren.
The family willl receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and Friends will gather at 10 a.m. Monday in the Morganton cemetery for Graveside services with Rev. Dick DeMerchant and Rev. C.E. Jackson III officiating. ROBERT P. BURNS
Robert P. Burns, age 80 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2002 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was retired from ALCOA and a member of the ALCOA 25 year club. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, Seymour.
Survivors include: wife, Beulah Gibson Burns; daughter and son-in-law, June and Ross Bailey of Maryville; grandson and wife, Brent and Charlene Bailey of Maryville; sisters, Martha Burns Long and Hattie Burns fry both of Knoxville; and several nieces.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with the Rev. Ann P. Robins officiating. The interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Seymour. The family will receive friends 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at MCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. Those who wish may make memorial donations to Providence Baptist Church, Seymour, TN.

LINDA SUE CROSS
Linda Sue Cross, age 52 of Madisonville, passed away 1:02 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2002 at Fort Sanders Park West Medical Center. She was a member of Madisonville Church of God. preceded in death by parents, James Burl and Myrtle Alice Tallent; infant sister, Mary Jo Tallent; brother, Junior Tallent; special niece, Brandi Watson.
Survivors: husband, Robert H. Cross; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert J. Cross of Madisonville, Brian and Annette Cross of Maryville; granddaughter (expected in March), Bryden Cross; sisters and brothers-in-law, Susie Tallent of Madisonville, Ella Mae and Lawrence O'Dell of Tellico Plains, Mary and Joe Bowers, Peggy and Bill Cook, all of Madisonville, Betty and J.B. Anderson of Sweetwater; twin sister and brother-in-law, Lillie and Howard Choat of Madisonville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Creed and Mae Tallent of Chesterton, IN, Tommy and Nancy Tallent of Chattanooga, Claude and Eurethia Tallent, Jimmy and Sandra Tallent all of Madisonville; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Allie Mae Jones, age 81 of Maryville, went home to be with her Lord Friday morning, February 1, 2002. She was a member of Allegheny Baptist Church. She was retired from ALCOA with 35 years of service, a member of the 25 year club and a 35-year-member of ALCOA Local 309. preceded in death by father, Tom Garrett, mother, Lula Mae Hundley, brothers, Ollie Garrett, Luther Garrett, Marlie Garrett and Charlie Garrett.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Don Lawson of Maryville; granddaughter, Sarah Lawson of Maryville; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Michael and Amy Lawson of Maryville; brothers, Glenn Garrett and Clifford Garrett, both of Maryville; sisters, Helen Burchfield, Mallie Burchfield and Lena Allmon, all of Maryville, and Grace Allmon of Georgia; special frineds, Norma Jones and Connie Meadows, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2002 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Leon Amburn officiating. Interment 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Four Mile Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
