Nadean Claiborne Harris, 71, of Wyatt Ave., widow of Major William F. Harris, died Thursday at the Clemson Area Retirement Center. She was a native of Maryville, TN, daughter of the late Sherman and Margaret Rogers Claiborne. She was the retired office manager for Dr. J.W. Hellams, was a member of the Officer's Wives Club of Clemson and was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church.
Surviving: daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca H. and Michael H. (Smiley) Sanders of Clemson; sisters, Carrie Shelby of LaFollette, TN, Ruth Chambers of Maryville, TN, Rudy Gibson of Cleveland, TN, and Opal Bounds of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Lacey Harris Sanders and Michael Claiborne Sanders of Clemson.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of St. Andrews Catholic Church. Burial in Old Stone Church Cemetery. Dale R. Long, age 58, of Rex, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001. He was a Delta employee and 27 year resident in the area.
He is survived by wife Sherry Long, son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Becky Long of Locust Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Brad Speckter of McDonough; and grandchildren, Rachel Long and Cade Speckter.

HAROLD E. CASHMAN
Harold E. Cashman, 87, of Kissimmee, died Friday, November 30. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he moved to central Florida in 1979 from Hatboro, PA. He was Chief Advisor to the Vice President, Exploration and Production Department for Sun Oil Company. Harold was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Kissimmee, where he was active in the Parker-Genesis Sunday School class, the choir and the offering accounting team. He was a member of the Audubon Society and an avid world traveler and bridge player. Mr. Cashman was predeceased by his first wife, Mildred Schaefer Cashman, and son, Harold E. Cashman Jr.
Survivors include: his wife, Florence Davis Cashman, Kissimmee; daughters, Judy Cashman Cooper, Westborough, MA, Carol Davis Blankner, Maryville, TN; son, Will Davis, Bellingham, WA; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, Dec. 9 at 4:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Kissimmee, 101 West Dakin Avenue, Kissimmee, FL 34741, with Grant Siegfried and Tom Nelson, pastors, officiating. Evelyn Russell Kidd, age 69, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2001, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was an active member and librarian of Everett Hills Baptist Church, Maryville. Mrs. Kidd was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Effie Russell and brother, Earl Russell.

Holman Robert Tanner, age 75, of Maryville, died Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at his home. He was born in Wartburg, TN and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. After teaching and coaching in Wartburg, he was a pharmacist in Maryville for 22 years. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy and John Tanner.

Elizabeth Brown Allen, age 80, of Maryville died Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Allen; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Brown; brother, James E. Brown, Jr.

DR. RICARDO M. MANDOJANA
Mandojana, Dr. Ricardo M. (lieutenant colonel, U.S. Army, retired), 61, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at his home in Knoxville after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. He was a native of Tucuman, Argentina. He is survived by his spouse, Ana Maria, and their three children, Marcos, a diplomat in the U.S. Foreign Service, married
to Christine Elsea; Maria, a teacher in Knoxville; and José, a law student at the University of Tennessee. He was a loving father and husband who provided the best for his family by following the American dream as an immigrant and patriot.
Dr. Mandojana had a distinguished medical career as a researcher and practicing certified Dermatologist, Pathologist, and Dermatopathologist. His favorite aspect of medicine was his interaction with his patients. The family expresses its thanks to all of the wonderful people who made him happy by allowing him to provide care for them.
A graduate of the medical school at the Univesidad del Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina, he served his medical internship at Kuakini Hospital in Hawaii in 1972-73. He served a pathology residency in Puerto Rico from 1973 to 1976 and did medical research at Johns Hopkins in Maryland. He served 10 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He served at Walter Reed Army Hospital and at the Federal Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C., at the Wurzburg Army Medical Hospital in Germany, and at the Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. Dr. Mandojana was a pioneer in the field of Aquatic Dermatology, lectured worldwide and published many articles and books. The family moved to Knoxville in 1988, where he practiced first at St. Mary's Professional Center before starting his private dermatology practice in Maryville. He was internationally acclaimed as an underwater photographer. His hobbies also included rugby, spearfishing, surfing (he introduced surfing to Argentina) and scuba diving. He loved books and jazz (especially Brazilian bossa nova). Ricardo exemplified living life to the fullest with his adventurous spirit and international tastes. The family thanks his many friends throughout the world for their prayers and support. The family also wishes to express sincere gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Blount Memorial Hospital and elsewhere for their compassion during his struggle with cancer. We also wish to thank all of our family, friends, and other well-wishers, who helped us through their kindness. Dr. Mandojana was a parishoner of Sacred Heart Cathedral where a memorial mass will be celebrated at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001. He will be buried with military honors at Arlington National cemetery on Dec. 12 and some of his ashes will be scattered in his most beloved marine environment in Patagonia, Argentina. Flowers may be delivered to Sacred Heart Cathedral at 711 Northshore Drive S.W. in Knoxville.
However, the family encourages those wishing to pay tribute to the vibrant life of Dr. Mandojana to make a donation to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Cremation Options Inc., Knoxville.
LILLIAN CATHERINE MCCULLEY REED
Lillian Catherine McCulley Reed, age 88, of Kodak, died Monday, December 3, 2001, at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church on Midway Road in Knoxville and was the first hostess at Miss Lillian's Restaurant in Dollywood. Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Reed; parents, Andrew Garfield and Rebecca Hatcher McCulley; four brothers; two sisters.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Carl Mack and Helen Reed of GA and David and Cinda Reed of Maryville; grandchildren, Michael Chandler Reed and wife Sheila, Carla Reed Giroux and husband Nicholas, Rose Reed and John Reed; great-grandchildren, Mary Ann Reed and Michelle Reed both of Alice Springs, Australia; sisters, Flora McCulley Blair of Knoxville and Della McCulley Vaughn of Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
