Annette Goble Loring, age 45, of Nashville, TN, former resident of Maryville, TN, died at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2001, at Skyline Hospital in Nashville, TN. Preceded by: parents, Hoyt G. and Johnnie Goble; three brothers, R.C. Goble, Sammy Goble and Gilbert Goble; brother-in-law, Bobby Gibson.
Survivors include: sisters, Claudette Higginbotham of Maryville and Geraldine Gibson of Alcoa; special friends, Robert Loring and Roger Beasley, both of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2001, at the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Benton Frank officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2001, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.

DR. HEINRICH M. SCHAUER
Dr. Heinrich M. Schauer, age 85, passed away Monday, July 9, 2001, at his home in Maryville, TN. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Knoxville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Liselotte Schauer and mother, Luise Schauer.
Survivors include: sons, Henry and wife Eve of Ft. Collins, CO, Martin and wife Susan of Los Alamos, NM; daughters, Luise and husband Bill Couchman of Fairfax Station, VA, Irene and husband Jonas Pologe of Boulder, CO; grandchildren, Christopher Schuetz and wife Christine, Jennifer and husband Victor Gehman, Michael and Kevin Schauer, Matthew and Benjamin Schauer; great-granddaughter, Katherine Schuetz.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Crosswell Hughes officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Carpenters cemetery for the interment service.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.

WILLIAM H. SWENSON
William H. Swenson, age 75, of Maryville, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Army in Italy. He held a Bachelor's Degree from Maryville College and a Master's Degree from the Art Institute of Chicago. Mr. Swenson taught Art at Maryville College and Ashland College in Ashland, IN, and was a Docent at Knoxville Museum of Art. He was a voting machine technician for the Blount County Election Commission.
Survivors include: wife, Peggy T. Swenson; daughter and son-in-law, Esther and David Iles of Langley, WA; son and daughter-in-law, William H. and Linda Swenson of Binghamton, NY; stepdaughters, Jennifer Murphy and Julia Lawson, both of Maryville; grandsons, Elijah Iles and Ian Murphy; sister, Janet White of Shippensburg, PA; brothers, Fred Swenson of Fairfax, CA, and Jack Swenson of Boise, ID; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Maryville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Darris Doyal and Rev. Richard Richter officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Organ Fund of Maryville First United Methodist Church, 804 Montvale Station Road, Maryville, TN, 37803, or to the American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Rd., Knoxville, TN, 37909.

CLAUDE NICHOLS
Claude Nichols age 93 of Maryville, passed away Sunday morning at Maryville Health Care July 8, 2001. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Anna Nichols, Half Brother: Fred Bolinger.
He is survived by his Daughter and Son in law: Ruby and Billy Swindle, he will be dearly missed by his Six Grand Children, Fourteen Great Grand Children, and Eighteen Great-Great Grand Children.
Private Graveside Services are planned for a later date. Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville is in charge of services. Memorial Funeral Home Inc. 983-2050.

RUBY L. COULTER
Ruby L. Coulter, 86, of Maryville, died Saturday afternoon at home. A homemaker, she was a long-time member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and resident of Hubbard Community.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years Hubert Duggan Coulter, parents the late Gid and Martha Bivens, brothers Walter B. and Jake Bivens and sisters Nell Mull and Sally Mull.
Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law David and Mary Coulter of Riceville and Tom and Pat Coulter of Knoxville; daughters and sons-in-law JoAnn and Eldon Black of Verbena, Alabama, and Martha and Tony Abbott of Maryville; grandchildren, Mark Black, Melba Gabriel, Martha Doyle, Michael Black, Randy Coulter, Tim Coulter, Susan Millsapps, Nina Abbott, and Tyler Abbott; eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Long officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.

SARAH G. `JENNY' MAXIAN

Sarah G. 'Jenny' Maxian, age 59 of Knoxville, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, left to be with her Savior on Thursday, July 5, 2001, at St. Mary's Hospital. Jenny was a member of the Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Maxian; parents, Madge and Roberson Johnson; brothers, Gerald and Richard Johnson; sister, Lyda.
Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Curt Cornwell of Knoxville; son, Terry Joe Moore of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jessica and Thomas Kincer, Paris and Drew Cornwell all of Knoxville; sisters, Barbara Deskins of Maryville, Mary Lee of Greenback, Gland Garret of Lenoir City; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:30 p.m. Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and then proceed to Salem Baptist Church cemetery in Greenback for a 3:00 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Terry Gaylord officiating. McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville in charge.

CLARA TIPTON MYERS
Clara Tipton Myers, age 80 of Maryville, died at 8:50 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2001, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church. preceded in death by her infant daughter, Doris Gail Myers; husband, Elmer T. Myers; parents, Mike H. and Mary Brown Tipton; brother-in-law, Luther Boling; and sister-in-law, Elfreda Perkins Tipton.
Survivors include: brothers, Hugh H. Tipton Sr. of New Carlisle, IN.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carson M. Tipton Sr. and Ina Huskey Tipton Sr. of Walland, Mike H. and Thelma Foxx Tipton of Maryville, Bruce and Sue Tipton of Jacksonville, FL.; sister, Grace Boling of Maryville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Eunice and W.T. Reed, Gladys and Cliff Reed all of Maryville; special aunts, Mrs. Angeline Roberts of Maryville, Mrs. Charlotte Riddle of Reserve, NM; uncles, Jesse Brown Jr. of Maryville, Howard Brown of Alabama; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2001, in Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with the Rev. George Macht officiating. Willa Leona Blake Freeman Harding, age 80 of Friendsville died Wednesday evening at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Naaman and Mollie Ann Querry Blake; brothers, Charles, Harold, and Keyless Blake; sisters, Gladys Davis, Belva Howard, Islet Keener; nephews, Delmer Davis, Denzel Keener, Demps Blake.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Harding; daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and David ReMine, and Sandra Freeman Scarlett; stepson, Dale Harding; grandchildren, Randy, Michael, Michelle, Vicky, Jamie, Regina, Steven, and Samantha; twelve great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; eighteen nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Eva Cox Freeman, Kathylene Blake.

ELIZABETH AMELIA JOHNSON HUFFSTETLER
Elizabeth Amelia Johnson Huffstetler, age 94 of Maryville, died Wednesday, September 12, 2001, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was the oldest living member of Carpenters Campground United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A. Huffstetler; son, Jerry Huffstetler; son-in-law, Raymond Hitson and parents, Isaac and Alice McClure Johnson.
Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and Larry Best of Knoxville, Mary Alice and Daris Richesin of Philadelphia; daughter, Brenda Hitson of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Helen Huffstetler of Maryville, Dwight and Joan Huffstetler of Barnesville, GA; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Louis Ketron and Rev. Larry Best officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Carpenters Campground cemetery for the interment service.
