Clarence D. 'Tater' Jaynes age 80 of Maryville, died Thursday, July 19, 2001 at his home. He was a veteran of WWII and was retired from East Tennessee Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Jaynes; sisters, Alice, Bertha and Myrtle Cobble.
Survivors: Betty Jo Jaynes; stepson, Chris Bass of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Kyle Beaver and Becky and William Anderson all of Maryville; daughter, Betty Stewart of Texas; 5 grandchildren, Nathan McMurray, Amy Kattesh and Megan Bass all of Maryville, Donnie and Ashley Stewart both of Texas; 2 great-grandchildren, Cole and Gavin Kattesh; John and Alice Cobble and other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2001, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Matthew Crisp officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
LYLE FREDERICK `ROBBY' ROBINSON
Lyle Frederick 'Robby' Robinson, age 80 of St. Augustine, Florida, died Thursday, July 19, 2001, in Florida. He was born in Eldred, PA, was retired from Grange Insurance Company in Knoxville and had lived in St. Augustine, FL for 6½ years. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Robinson Goode; parents, Fred A. and Clara Colby Robinson and brother, Carl Robinson.
Survivors include: wife, Oleyea 'Toots' Moroney Robinson; daughters, Gail Robinson Miller of Buffalo, NY, Bonnie Robinson of Olean, NY and Katherine M. Chalfant of St. Augustine, FL; 9 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sons-in-law; sister, Louise Robinson Crozier of Sommerville, SC; several nieces and nephews.

Janice Murphy Williams, age 73 of Maryville died Friday, July 20, 2001 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was a member of East Alcoa Baptist Church and of the order of the Eastern Star, Acacia in Knoxville. She retired from Alpha Industry as a seamstress after 32 years of service. preceded in death by: husband, Ronald D. Williams; son, Micheal Stafford; parents, Daniel R. Murphy and Charlsie 'Granny' Smith; brother, Rev. Dan Murphy; sisters, Pat Ross, Erma Murphy, Bobbie Jo Murphy, Georgie Hayes.
Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Gary Lankford of Fall Branch, TN, Sherry and Kenneth Best of Maryville, Georgia and David Carson of Texas; daughter, Eleanor Cooper of New York; grandchildren, Renee Best, Lynn Best, Tara and Travis Farley, David Carson; great-grandchildren, Christopher Best, Katie McFalls, Sarah Carson; sister, Frances Gross of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.

Cora Lee Garrett, age 91 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of New Providence Primitive Baptist Church. preceded in death by parents, James and Amanda Garrett; brothers, Charlie, Avery and Lester Garrett; sisters, Estella Mae Garrett and Julia Garrett; sister-in-law, Verdia Garrett; brother-in-law, Al Scarbrough.
Survivors: sisters, Flora Garrett of Maryville, Maebell Scarbrough of Lake Wales, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Bessie and Wayne Smith of Maryville; sister-in-law, Bessie Ridge of Maryville; several nieces and nephews.

Evalene Hicks Green, age 80, of Maryville passed away Thursday, July 19, 2001 at Maryville Health Care. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors: husband, Wesley Green; daughters, Geraldine Strickland, Ruby Latham, all of Maryville; son, Carl Lee Hicks, Clinton; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by 1st husband, Clarence Hicks; son, Junior Hicks; brother, Arthur Hamby.

MARCELLOUS `MONK' MOULDEN
Marcellous (Monk) Moulden of Maryville went to his homecoming on July 18, 2001 at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. He was born April 23, 1925 in Strawberry Plains, TN to the late Samuel and Lucy Moulden.
Survivors include: wife, Isabelle Moulden of Louisville, TN; children, Marcella Jones of Nightdale, N.C., Alice Moulden, Geraldine Moulden and Julia Mae Boyd all of Knoxville, TN; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; devoted niece, Billie Jean Davis of Maryville, TN; sisters, Blanche Thomas of Maryville, Dorothy Mynatt of Alcoa; one sister-in-law; two brothers-in-law; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at Louisville Church of God with Elder Dwight Frazier officiating. Interment to follow at Hill Top Cemetery, Louisville. The body will lie in state two hours prior to the service at the church and may be viewed after 12 Noon Friday at Foothills Funeral Home, Maryville. Lowell V. 'Yogi' Rutherford, age 62 of Maryville died Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Taylor's Grove Baptist Church in Sharps Chapel, TN and a member of Blazing Star Masonic Lodge #455 in Sharps Chapel. He was a driver for Transport Service in Loudon, TN. preceded in death by: father, Alfred Relford; grandparents, Tom and Rispy Robinson.
Survivors include: wife of 42 years, Carol Rutherford; sons, Steve and Michael Rutherford of Maryville; daughter, Vickie Rutherford of Knoxville; grandchildren, Allen and wife, Crystal Rutherford of Maynardville, Laura and Matthew Rutherford of Powell, Mary Elizabeth Rutherford of Maryville; great- grandchildren, Colton and Carolyne Rutherford of Maynardville; grandmother, Luster Singleton of Knoxville; mother, Maggie Welch of Halls; sister and brother-in-law, Irene and DeWayne Walker; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Betty Rutherford all of Corryton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Elosha I. Tuck, age 81 of Maryville, died Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Asbury Acres Healthcare Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben S. Tuck and son, Larry Tuck.

Helen Joyce Mize Walls, age 80, resident of Knoxville, formerly of Port St. John, FL passed away July 18, 2001. Mrs. Walls was born October 10, 1920, at her family home in Maryville, TN. preceded in death by her husband, Meredith W. Walls; parents, Beecher E. and Edna Morton Mize; stepmother, Vola Farmer Mize; infant son, Meredith Beecher Walls; daughters, Joyce Nettie Heald and Joylyn Sue Goff; sisters, Barbara Mize and Martha Boruff; and son-in-law, Virgil W. Braden.
Survived by daughters, Sherry Braden, Knoxville, TN, Edna Lee (Bob), Madison, AL; son, Paul N. Walls (Sharon), Mt. Juliet, TN; brothers, Elmer Mize and Bob Mize (Elizabeth), of Maryville, TN; grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Tiffany Morris, Wayne Braden, Joe Braden, Brandy Braden Wright, Virgil Braden Jr., Judy Braden Snyder, Robert H. Faye Amburn Watkins, age 54 of Maryville died Thursday, July 19, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church. She was an employee of ALCOA for 35 years in the Human Resources/Insurance Department. preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Cora Mae Amburn.

Tony Darrell Blair, age 81 of Maryville, died Tuesday July 17, 2001 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Daisy Craddick Blair; brothers, Crowder, Charles, and Bill. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII. He was employed by ALCOA for 33 years. He was a Minister of Jehovah's Witness for 52 years.
He is survived by his wife, Rachael Morrison of Maryville; children, Darrell and Allene Blair of Stockbridge, GA, Richard and Margie Blair of Alcoa, Darius and Sharon Blair of Maryville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Toth of Asheville, NC, Mildred Caylor of Athens.
Graveside service will be held at 1:30 Saturday at Grandview cemetery and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 Saturday July 28, 2001 at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall on Middlesettlements Rd. in Maryville, the family will receive friends following both services.
