DENYSE MARIE WILLIAMSON
Denyse Marie Williamson, age 77, passed away on January 6, 2005, at Brakebill Nursing Home in Knoxville. She was born January 10, 1927, in Montreal, Canada. She moved to Long Beach, New York, in 1956 and then to Jefferson City in 1979, where she resided until December 2001, at which time she went to live at Brakebill Nursing Home in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Williamson of Long Beach, N.Y.; six sons, Norman and his wife, Kathy of Louisville, Raymond and his wife, Ann of Camden, Maine, Joseph and his wife, Dawn of Dix Hills, N.Y., Allen and his wife, Rita of Jefferson City, Donnie and his wife, Brenda of New Market, Tommy and fiancé, Diana Jenkins of Dandridge; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2005, from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel. Graveside interment service will be at 4 p.m., Tuesday, January 11, 2005, at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff of Brakebill Nursing Home for the compassionate and loving care she received there. Billie Revonda Rose Sparks
Billie Revonda Rose Sparks, age 91, of Maryville, went home to heaven Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a Sunday School Teacher and led the singing at Birchfield Baptist Church for many years and was a member of East Alcoa Baptist Church. preceded in death by daughter, Christine Clark; son, Robert O. Sparks; son-in-law, Clyde Clark; and sisters, Mae Dishon and Edith Jones. She was a beloved wife of 74 years to husband, Bill 'Tige' Sparks and wonderful mother of daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Ernie Blevins of Tallassee; daughter, Carol Gregory of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Carolyn Sparks of Friendsville, Neil and Judy Sparks of Maryville, and Clell and Loretta Sparks of Friendsville. Survivors also include 12 grandchildren, Kim Clark, Teresa Nuchols, Steve Blevins, Gary Blevins, Michael Sparks, Sherri Harveston, Russell Keith Sparks, Mandy Cannon, Traci Bush, Travis Sparks, Brian Gregory, and Vance Gregory; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Velda Baldwin of Maryville, Georgia Hodge of Walland, and Joy Hall of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2005 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Alvin Patton and Rev. Ralph Lee officiating. Kevin Keller, age 52 of Maryville died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 after a long illness at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. He was employed as a Counselor for Peninsula Hospital. preceded in death by: father, Curtis Keller. Survivors include: wife, Jane Keller of Maryville; daughters and sons-in-law, Emily and Chris Cruz of Maryville and Rachael and Michael Hamby of Maryville; son, Lee-Michael Keller and Fiance^le Brandy Greene of Maryville; grandchildren, Cody Cruz and Kevin Cruz, Blake Hamby; mother, June Keller of Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Roberta Keller; and niece Caitlyn of Ohio; special best friend, David Robinson of Maryville. DREW MCCULLOCH
Drew McCulloch, age 57 of Houston TX, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at the Herman Memorial Hospital in Houston TX. He was a native of Maryville, TN and a graduate of Maryville High School and a graduate of Texas A & M. He was preceded in death by parents, Samuel Loyd and Elizabeth Sanford McCulloch; and by his grandparents, A.E. and Freddie McCulloch. He is survived by his step-mother, Vicki Swan McCulloch; cousins, Steve McCulloch of Colorado Springs, CO and Linda McCulloch of Frostburg, MD; aunt Enid McCulloch of Maryville. A private interment will be held at Grandview cemetery in Maryville, TN. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
JAMES PETE TITTLE
James Pete Tittle, age 89, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in Jonesboro, GA. Born August 7, 1915, in Sumner County, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Grace (Kuykendal) Tittle; daughter, Cathy Tittle; parents, James and Lizzie Tittle. He was a former resident of Alcoa, TN. and a member of the Maryville Church of Christ. He was a retired Department of Defense employee.
He is survived by children, Jim and Johnnie Tittle of Maryville, TN; Homer and Brenda Tittle of Forrest Park, GA.; Thomas and Barbara Tittle of Snellville, GA.; Patricia and Grey Smith of Forrest Park, GA.; Karen Tittle of Miami, FL.; and Timothy and Lisa Tittle of Stockbridge, GA.
There are nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Jenny L. Carrigan, age 48 of Knoxville, formerly of Maryville and Annapolis, MD, died Monday morning, January 10, 2005 at U T Medical Center. Jenny was a flight attendant with U S Airways with 17 years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles (Chili) Carrigan. Survivors: mother, Betty A. Carrigan; and many special friends and co workers. Edward O. French, age 85, of Maryville passed away Saturday, January 8, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church. Was a veteran of WWII. A member of the Masonic Lodge 244. He was a lifelong deacon of the Second Baptist Church of Knoxville. Helen Sue Stoutt Marshall, age 52 of Maryville, passed away at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2005 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church and attended Dotson Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H.N. Stoutt Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Ambros Dorsam; uncle, Bobby H. Stoutt; aunt, Mary Catherine Haney. Mabel Simerly, 82 of Maryville died Thursday, January 6, 2005 at her home. Rachel Woods Gibson, age 30, of Alpine Drive, Knoxville, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 8, 2005, at U.T. Medical Center. She was a graduate of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City and was employed as an account analyst for ED Financial in Knoxville, and a member of the Spray Baptist Church in Eden, North Carolina. She resided with her family in her earlier years in the Charleston area.
Survived by: parents, Byron and Betty Gibson, Vonore; brothers and sisters-in-law, Aaron Gibson, Ringgold, Ga., Glenn and Debbie Gibson, Maryville, Jimmy and Pamela Gibson, Oak Ridge, Mark and Ellen Gibson, Alcoa, Daniel Gibson; and special friends, Steven Clark of Cleveland and Rhonda Walker, Knoxville; five nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Englewood Church of God where the body will lie in state one hour prior to services. Rev. Danny C. Ruehling will officiate and burial will follow at Chestua Baptist Church Cemetery. Brothers and Steven Clark will serve as pallbearers. Mildred Mae McDonell, age 79, of Greenback, formerly of Chattanooga, died Friday, January 7, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) McDonell Sr.; son, William (Bill) McDonell Jr.; and parents, Ulysses and Ruth Walker.
Survivors include her daughters, Pat Delozier and Johnnie Hewitt, both of Greenback; son, Barney McDonell of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Joe Delozier III, Jerry Delozier, and Jama Everett; great-grandchildren, Taylor Everett, Austin and Jenna Delozier; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilbert and Violet Walker of Maryville, Neubert and Joyce Walker of Greeneville; sister, Moseline Hammontree; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Donnie Glandon, all of Greenback.

Oma Bliscerd Powers, age 89, of Glenmore Drive, Rockford, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2005, at the University of Tennessee Hospital. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Jesse C. Powers on December 20, 2004. She is survived by a daughter, Gerri Soltau and her husband Ed Soltau; a son, Richard C. Powers and wife Janie A. Powers; a grandson, Richard C. Powers and wife Shannon; brothers, Jim Bliscerd and Luther Bliscerd; sister, Rosa Stooksbury.
