Linda Kaye Willis, age 36, died January 1, 2005, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She is survived by her husband, John Willis; daughter, Kayla Willis; son, Nathan Willis; mother, Brenda Brown; father, Don Brown; stepmother, Linda Brown; sisters, Mintha Presley of Walland, Michele Bacon of Ga.; nieces, Ruby and Carly Presley and several other nieces and nephews. She was a member of Restoration International Outreach. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Maryville with Rev. Mike Parker officiating. The family will meet 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home to proceed to Prospect cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to the family to help with her children.

Dan Ray Blanchard, age 50 of Johnson City died Thursday, December 30, 2004 at North Side Hospital in Johnson City, TN. He was an employee of Simplicity Manufacturing. preceded in death by parents, Howard and Dorothy Blanchard. Survivors include: Sons, Brad Blanchard of GA and Cain Blanchard of Knoxville. ROSCOE `R.D.' FOWLER
Roscoe (R.D.) Fowler, age 88 of Dalton, GA, a native of Vonore, TN, passed away 9:35 A.M. Friday, December 31, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a life-long member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Vonore, TN. He was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather and friend. He leaves all to cherish his memory. His life was filled with family, friends and music. He was a hard worker who loved to work his farm and was actively involved with the senior citizens in Dalton, GA. He was very appreciative of his loving caregivers throughout his lengthy illness and also of the prayers and kindness shown by his community. preceded in death by daughter Joyce Kathaleen Hill; parents Authur L. and Bertha Ann Fowler, father-in-law Sam Bryant.

Orville Aud Orr, age 75, of Loudon, passed away Friday, December 31, 2004 at U.T. Medical Center. He was a member and deacon of Watson's Chapel Baptist Church in Madisonville and preceded in death by parents, Earl and Flaura Orr and brothers, Wayne and Jack Orr. Survivors include wife, Una Ray Blevins Orr; sons and daughters in law, Dwight and Sherri Orr of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Mike and Susan Orr of Loudon; grandchildren, April, Jessica, Cody, Niki and Lacey; great grandchildren, Colton and Cassidy; brothers, Danny Orr of Mt. Pleasant and David Orr of Maryville; sister, Beulah Tarwater of Greenback; sister in law, Audrey Blevins; special friends, Betty and Jim Denton and all the Church family at Watson's Chapel Baptist Church; several nieces and nephews. Esther C. Tiller, age 84 of Maryville passed away Thursday December 30, 2004 at Asbury Place. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. preceded in death by her husband, Willie Frank Tiller. Parents, George Hamilton and Alma Lou Payne Cheek.

Rena Doris Jennell (Houser) Farley, 58, of Maryville passed away at Blount Memorial Hospital December 30, 2004. She was preceded in death by her Parents: John and Hazel Stallions Houser, Husband: Donald Farley, Uncles: Roy and Howard Stallions, Grandparents: Hubert and Lina Stallions who raised her. Survivors include: Her Daughters: Missy, Crystal, Dewelda, Sons: Howard and wife Renee Perkins all of Maryville, Grandchildren: T.J., David, Hank, Mary Elizabeth, and Jana Grace. Step children: Evelyn, Louise, Dana, Marty, and Cas, Several step-grandchildren. Aunts: Nellie Finger, Verna Smith, and Beaulah Tucker all of Maryville, several cousins and many friends. Mabel Crass Hatmaker, age 93 years, died Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the home of her daughter. Born May 12, 1911. preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Leon Hatmaker and a grandson, Robert David Proffitt, Jr. Mrs. Hatmaker was retired from Kern's Bakery, Knoxville. She was a member of South Knoxville Baptist Church until she moved to be with her daughter in 1991, where she was a member of Temple Baptist Church, White House, Tn., until her death. Survived by children, Lucy (Charles) Farrar of Monument, Co., Elizabeth (Garnett) Cothern, Hendersonville, Tn., Thomas (Barbara) Hatmaker, Walland, Tn. Grandchildren, Karen Proffitt, Denver, Co., Stephen Proffitt, San Francisco, Ca., Kevin (Kim) Proffitt, Maryville, Tn., Connie Proffitt, widow of Robert David Proffitt, Jr., Monument, Co., Thomas (Sheryl) Cothern, Phillip (Cindy) Cothern, Lorrie (Tim) White, White House, Tn., Eleanor (Joey) Qualls, Bremerton, Wa., Melanie Hatmaker, Amanda (Scott) Bowerman, Maryville, Tn., Thomas E. Hatmaker, Jr., 17 great-grandchildren. Remains are at Austin and Bell Funeral Home, White House, where services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. by Rev. Michael Duff. Lisette (Lisa) LeFort, age 42 departed this life on December 23, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer. preceded in death by her husband, Bryon LeFort of Lake Charles, LA. Lisa was a member of First Baptist Church of Friendsville, TN. Survived by: Parents, John and Frances Oldham of Clinton, TN; Daughter, Kristina Stevens and son Jeffrey Stevens of Spring, TX; Three grandchildren, Alysa, George and Tristen Hamilton; Two brothers, John Oldham, Jr. and Kenneth Oldham of Knoxville, TN; Two Sisters, Therese Whitehead of Maryville, TN and Renee Carr of Sevierville, TN. The body of Ms. LeFort was cremated and memorial services were held December 28, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Friendsville.
THOMAS SEYMOUR RICE
Thomas Seymour Rice, age 89 passed away December 29, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tennessee. He was born in Concord, New Hampshire. He was preceded in death by: Parents, Waistel A. & Mary (Hill) Rice; Sister, Cynthia; Brothers, Reginals H., Maurice A., Theodore K. and Waistel A. Tom graduated from Concord High, Class of 1934. He received his degree from the National School of Radio and TV in California. On February 1941 he entered the U.S. Army, serving as T4 radio man in the 1st Armored Division in North Africa and Italy, receiving the Bronze Star for meritorious service in combat. He later worked as a representative of several electronics and equipment firms of Evans Radio, Demambro and retiring from the Schwebber Co. In Massachusetts. Tom was an avid golfer. He leaves his wife, Doris Ann Wise of Maryville, TN; Sister, Mary Rice Fogg of Waterbora, Maine; Brothers, Lewis of Melbourne, FL and William of Concord, NH; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Concord, NH in late Spring 2005.

Johnnie Mae Richardson, age 86 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at East TN Health Care in Madisonville. She was the daughter of the late John B. and Annie Millsaps and was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. G. S. Richardson, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Dollie and Wilford Kirby of Maryville; 3 stepdaughters and 3 stepsons of Paris, TX; sister-in-law, Mrs. Gilbert (Charlotte) Millsaps of Powder Springs, GA; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Friday at Hickory Valley cemetery with Rev. Glenn Grubb officiating.

DEBRA ANN `DEBBIE' WILKES
Debra Ann 'Debbie' Wilkes, 49, of Soperton, GA, died Friday, December 31.
Mrs. Wilkes was a native of Blount County, Tennessee, and was a daughter of the late Ernest Reagan. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest L. Reagan.
A graduate of Georgia Southern College, Statesboro, Mrs. Wilkes had taught school in Collins Elementary for 2 years, Metter Elementary for 3 years, and in Danielsville, Georgia for 13 years before moving to Soperton. She was presently a seventh-grade teacher at Treutlen County Middle School. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Wilkes; a daughter, Lacey Wilkes, Soperton; a son, Reggie Wilkes, Soperton; her mother, Virginia Reagan, Walland, TN; sister, Lucy Reagan, Walland, TN; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held in the First Baptist Church, Soperton at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, January 2. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery, Montgomery County.
The family will receive friends at Sammons Funeral Home, Soperton, Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m.

Virgil Carroll Crockett retired MSGT. of the 228th Air National Guard and 134th Air refueling group of the US Air Force, passed away December 30, 2004 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center in Maryville. He was preceded in death by his loving wife: Emma Jean Seymour Crockett; parents: Samuel J. and Virgie Crockett; brothers: Jack Crockett, Lawrence, Melvin, and Clarence Stillwell; father-in-law, Eugene W. Seymour. Survivors included daughters: Peggy J. Crockett of Alcoa, Debbie and husband Richard Garland of Maryville; sons: Jim Crockett, John and wife Carol Crockett all of Knoxville; grandchildren: Lynn Crockett of Knoxville, Christopher E. Campbell, Karen Garland and Evan Crockett all of Maryville, Jacqueline and Andrew Crockett of Knoxville; great-granddaughter: Emily Lynn Crockett of Knoxville; brother: Samuel W. Raymond 'Pluto' Melton Gibbs, age 73, of Maryville, TN, died Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at Chattanooga, TN. He was born in Clarksville, TN. April 3, 1931 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville and was a deacon in the church and was a Shriner and Mason. preceded in death by father, Raymond Gibbs; mother, Bessie Stevens Gibbs. Survivors: wife, Katherine McCurdy Gibbs, Maryville; sons, Jerry Gibbs, Signal Mountain, TN, Jim Gibbs, Brentwood, TN, Larry Gibbs, Lafayette, GA; 8 grandchildren.
