Theodore Roosevelt Green ('Curly') age 87 and 6 months of Maryville, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2004. He was a member and deacon of Beech Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Sevier County. Mr. Green was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company after more than 48 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Wesley Green and Nora Franklin Green; brothers, Alvin, Calvin, Max, Sam, Charlie & Frank; sisters, Viola Haun, Myrtle Haun, Alice Houser, Agnes Miller and Roxie Ford. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Edna Shields Green; sons & daughters-in-law, Larry & Peggy Green and Roger & Marjorie Green and several nieces & nephews. Funeral service 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2004, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Elder Shirley Henry officiating. Family & friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 30, 2004 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment. Memorial donations may be made to: Beech Grove Primitive Church in Sevier County. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Wednesday, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.

LORETA W. HENDERSON
Loreta W. Henderson, age 90 of Maryville, Tenn., died Monday, December 20, 2004 in Birmingham, AL. She was of the Baptist faith with her church membership in Cleveland, Tenn. She retired from Miller's Department Store in Cleveland, Tenn. preceded in death by: Husband, James C. Henderson; Parents, O.C. & Hattie Mae Watkins; Son-in-law, Wrev Burns. Survivors include: Daughter, Shirley Burns of Trussville, Ala.; Daughter and Son-in-law, Joyce & James Lovingood of Maryville; Grandchildren, Shana Williams & husband Bobby, Cinna Sotherland & husband Paul, Melinda Hodges & husband Dennis, Jimmy Lovingood & wife Missy; Great-Grandchildren, Andrew & Jennifer Williams, Matthew & Katie Sotherland, Heather & Alison Lovingood; Brother & Sister-in-law, Jack & Marty Watkins of Prescott, Az; Sisters, Helen Weaver of Clinton, Tenn. and Claudia Samples of Knoxville, Tenn.; Sister & Brother-in-law, Ollie Mae & Charles Butturini of Clinton, Tenn. Funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Byron Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens. BONNIE GRACE MOORE MCCONNELL
Bonnie Grace Moore McConnell, age 91, of Maryville passed away Sunday, December 26, 2004, at Blount Transitional Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry B. McConnell. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church and life time member of the Chilhowee Club.
Survivors include: nephews, Lee Gowan and wife Della, and Neil Gowan, all of Maryville; niece, Lynne Smith of Conway, S.C.
Family and friends will meet 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2004, at Grandview cemetery for a graveside service with Dr. Bob Brown officiating. JAMES FREDRICK MELSON
James Fredrick Melson, age 68, of Miami, Fla., formerly of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at Cedars Hospital and Medical center in Miami, Fla. Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956-1958. preceded in death by parents, James Andrew and Mary Mildred Melson of Maryville. Survivors: children, Alexander, Axilt, Henry and Delores Melson; four grandchildren; sister, Betty Kelly of Stockbridge, Ga.; brothers, Robert Melson of Vonore, Kenneth Melson of Carrollton, Ga., and Richard Melson of Woodstock, Ga.; several nieces and nephews. Graveside and interment service was held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2004, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Rev. Joe Cantrell officiated. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

MERLE BROWN PAINTER
Merle Brown Painter, age 93, of Friendsville, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2004, at Asbury Place Health Care Center. She was a life long member of Friendsvillle United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Painter; parents, John and Rosa Brown; grandson, Russell Painter; brother, Arville Brown.
Survivors include: sons, LeRoy Painter and wife Carolyn, Don Painter and wife Jean, all of Friendsville; grandchildren, Susan Treadway and husband Mike of Friendsville, Dr. Scott Painter and wife Suad of San Antonio, Texas, Brian Painter and wife Sharon of Maryville, Stan Painter and wife Michelle of Louisville, David Painter of Friendsville; foster-granddaughter, Andea Adler of the U.S. Marine Corp.; great-grandchildren, Michal and Mark Treadway, Travis and Dawson Painter.
Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Darryl Rasnake officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Friends cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

WILLIAM M. POST
William M. Post, age 87, of Maryville passed away Friday, December 24, 2004, at UT Hospital. He was a long serving member and former Deacon of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and retiree of ALCOA. preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Clark Post; parents John Calvin and Martha Gregory Post; brothers Leonard, Robert G. and James C. Post; sisters Nina Post, Hester Post, Stella Post, Kathleen Post, Lela Post McJunkins, and Jonnie Post Anderson.
Survivors include: sons, John Clark Post and wife Barbara of Sevierville, David William Post of Maryville; granddaughter Claudia Post Depew and husband Mark of Farragut; great-grandchildren, Caden and Cori Depew; several nieces and nephews; special friend Elva Hitch.
Family and friends will meet 3:00 p.m. Monday at Grandview cemetery for graveside services with Rev. Raymond Burnett officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 Sunday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville. 982-6812. JOHN N. WHITE
John N. White, age 75, of Maryville, died Friday, December 24, 2004, at Baptist Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. He was retired from the United States Army Reserve as a Master Sergeant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Clay White and Belva Delozier White. Survived by his loving family: wife of 48 years, Josephine White; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Cindy White of Knoxville; son, Joel White of Maryville; four adored granddaughters: twins, Heather and Lindsey White of Knoxville, and Tiffany and Kelli White of Maryville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Ray Cruze of Nashville, Carolyn and Charles Stubblefield of Gastonia, North Carolina, Charlotte and John Kirkland of Knoxville; brothers and sisters-in-law, L.C. and Josephine White of Greenville, Mississippi, and Jimmy and Norma Jean White of Maryville; sisters-in-law, Bea Diggs and Imogene Rogers of Maryville; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at Grandview cemetery for graveside funeral service and interment with the Rev. Raymond Burnett officiating. ROY LYNN HILL
Roy Lynn Hill, 46, Maryville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004. He was preceded in death by mother Irene Hill; brothers, Joseph, David and James Hill; sisters, Diane and Evelyn Hill and Rebecca Carver.
Survivors: Sons, Michael and Travis; daughters, Tammy, Tabitha, and Cierra; granddaughter, Alexis. Father, Robert Lee Hill; sister, Catherine Hicks; sisters and husbands, Kathleen (Doyle) Worth and Barbara (Martin) Headrick, brother, Alvin Hill.
Mr. Hill was cremated. There will be a graveside service at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2004 at Union Grove Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Billy Carrigan.

THOMAS HENRY MORGAN
Thomas Henry Morgan age 69 of Florida, formerly of Blount County, passed away Thursday, December, 2004 in Florida. He was preceded in death by his sister, Imogene Cutshaw and his brother, Glen Morgan. Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Thomas Keith & Kelley Morgan of Woodstock, Ga.; grandson, Zach Morgan; and several nieces & nephews. Family & friends will assemble at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Grandview cemetery for graveside service & interment. Smith Mortuary, Maryville in charge, 865-983-1000.

MELBA MAE ODOM
Melba Mae Odom, age 91 of Maryville, died Saturday, December 25, 2004 at Maryville Health Care.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Caton Odom; parents, Oliver Wallace and Zola Wallace White; brothers, John Edward Wallace and Don White; sisters, Crystina Renau and Olive Morton; son-in-law, Frank Hampton and grandson, Jeff Hampton.
Survivors include, son, Jerry Oliver Odom; daughter, Wanda Lynn Hampton; sisters, Sarah Kelly, Mary Cotter, and Betty Smith; grandchildren, Vicki Hampton, Jim Hampton, Paul Hampton, Mike Odom, Brian Odom, and Kristi Smith; 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Gilliland officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Clover Hill Presbyterian Church cemetery for the interment.

BETTY A. BAILEY
Betty A. Bailey, age 81, of Maryville died Thursday, December 23, 2004, at Blount Memorial Transitional Care. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was born and raised in El Rino, Oklahoma, and moved to Roanoke, VA, where she worked many years for General Electric and Roanoke Times World Newspaper. preceded in death by: first husband, Angelo DiGeronimo; second husband, Ron Bailey; brother, Howard 'Harry' Allen. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Paul & Gail DiGeronimo of Cincinnati, OH; daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Harold King of Maryville; grandchildren, Heather & husband Jeff Smith of Atlanta, GA, and Angela DiGeronimo of Cincinnati, OH; great-grandchild, Madelyn Sophia Smith. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 27, 2004, at Grandview cemetery with Dr. Benic Hampton officiating. PEARL M. BREWER
Pearl M. Brewer, 76, of Maryville, died Wednesday, December 22, 2004. Survivors include her children: Deloris Noble of Maryville, Carolyn O'Quinn of SC, and Tommy Messer of TN; grandchildren, Tim Noble, Pam Wright, Angel Bales, Sherry Baily, and Renee O'Quinn; several great-grandchildren; and a special nephew Dean Messer. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens at 3:00 p.m. Monday December 27, 2004, for a graveside service. Memorial Funeral Home of Maryville is in charge of arrangements.

JIM IVERSON
Jim Iverson, age 57, of Maryville, formerly of Rapid City, SD, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julie Iverson, and mother, Doris Iverson.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Kay and Joe Uecker; father, Glenn Iverson; grandchildren, Dan Scott Uecker, Mandi Jo Uecker, and Becky Gene Uecker; brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Beth Iverson.
Mr. Iverson was cremated and a private memorial service will be held. Arrangements by Dotson Funeral Home, Wildwood. (865-984-5959)
