Elfreda Cunningham Carter, age 82, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Alcoa and was preceded in death by her son, John Frederick Carter, and brothers, Joe, Willard and Kenneth.
Survivors include her husband, William Jackson 'Jack' Carter; son, William Jackson 'Bill' Carter III; daughters, Donna Carter Gilliam of Alcoa and Glenda Rose Carter of Maryville; two grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Cunningham of Kingston and Paul Cunningham of Ga.; sisters, Bernice Martello of Washington, Doris Montooth of Philadelphia, Tenn., and Hersel Bradford of Nashville; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at West View cemetery in Sweetwater for a graveside service with Rev. J. W. Hopper, Rev. Danny Davis and Rev. Bobby Nick officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.

BEVERLIE GAIL HOEFFNER
Beverlie Gail Hoeffner, age 43, of Blount County, passed away Nov. 20, 2004. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jackie Sue Payne; grandparents, Roy and Jessie Payne. Survivors include her two children, Jesse and Lacey French; sister, Terri and husband Billy Reynolds; brother, Todd and wife Gina Huling; nephews, Josh King and Matt Huling; niece, Lauren Huling; father, Guy and wife Jean Huling. A private funeral was held by the family.

MARIE MURRIN HOUSTON
Marie Murrin Houston, age 86, of Maryville, passed away Monday, November 29, 2004, at her home. She was a member of Eusebia Presbyterian Church. She was a multi-talented, expert seamstress, avid craftsperson, crocheted many treasures, painter, gardener, cook, housewife, stay-home mom raising her triplets along with her two older daughters.
Mrs. Houston was preceded in death by her husband, Paul T. Houston Sr.; parents, Horace Taylor Murrin Sr. and Marie Mustard Murrin; brothers, Buddy, Bill, H.T. Murrin Jr.; sisters, Lillian Murrin Dunlap and Grace Murrin Webb.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Paulette and Travis Owens, Penny and Rick Whaley; daughters, Delmar Carroll, Peggy Creswell; son, Paul T. Houston Jr.; grandchildren, Missy and Ron Runyon, Mike and Jill Owens, Chip Creswell, Nikki and Chris Clark; great-grandchildren, Aaron Carroll, Justin Small, Ramsey Owens, Blake and Jonathan Clark; special friends, Peggy McKee, Libby Huskey, Mary Prater, Lavina Newcomer, Betty Rollins, Moline Baldwin; her pride and joy, cats, Smokey and Bozo; special hospice nurse, Ann VanCurin.
Mother will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Eusebia cemetery with Rev. Rob Williamson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.

IDA SUE `SUDIE' JONES
Ida Sue 'Sudie' Jones, age 81, wife of the late Francis H. 'Blackie' Jones, passed away November 28, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville. She was born November 21, 1923, in Knoxville to the late Roland Sharp Ellis and Susie Bell Lowry Ellis and sister to the late Jennie Lee Sims.
She was a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class at the First Baptist Church of Maryville where she has been a member since 1938.
Survivors include her sons, Walter Earl Jones and Phillip Calvin Jones of Maryville; grandsons, Phillip Neal Jones of Ghent, W.Va., and Terry Martin of Richmond, TX; granddaughter, Angela Santi Jones of Smyrna; great-grandchildren, Brittany and Alicia Jones of Ghent, W.Va., and Aubrey and Zane Martin of Richmond, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard and Benny Dalton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview cemetery for the interment service.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.

William C. 'Daddy Bill' Kennedy, 83, departed this life Saturday, November 27, 2004, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was born June 24, 1921, in Lebanon, Ohio. He was preceded in death by father, William Herbert Kennedy; very devoted mother, Geneva Brown Kennedy Henry; loving grandson, Robert Leonard 'Sputnick' Means III; stepfather, Charles W. Henry.
Survivors, daughters and sons-in-law, Tilitha (Brian) Walker, Alcoa, and Cynthia (Robert) Jones, Rutherford, N.J.; grandchildren, Melanie Jones, Atlanta, Ga., and Jeffrey Jones, Rutherford, N.J.; foster grandchild, Tremayne Garner; aunts, Mrs. Anna Brown Washington, Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Amanda Brown, Middlesboro, Ky., Mrs. Myrtle Curry, Detroit, Mich.; god-children, Jeremiah l. Maunel, Alcoa, and Ro'Jae Hall, Atlanta, Ga.; devoted cousins; Clarence (Helen) Hensley, Milton (Sarah) Hensley, Knoxville, the Jake Brown Sr. family, Middlesboro, Ky., Mrs. Betty Waters, Cincinnati, Ohio, the Steve Cardwell Family, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Jacqueline Scruggs; compassionate caregivers, Terry W. Knighton Sr., Maxine and Morzena Knighton, Ralph Garner Sr., Hope Compton, Jamesy Barton, Jayce Adams; caring neighbors and friends, Janace Whitted, Thelma Brown, Julia Henderson, Kim Orange, Herbert 'Pete' Jones, Geraldine Upton, William T. RENA JOYCE WATERS LUTTRELL
Rena Joyce Waters Luttrell, age 70, of Lenoir City, died Sunday, November 28, 2004, at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Rachel Waters; brothers, Gene, Ernest, Earl, Charles, Ed, and Elmer Waters; sisters, Hazel Hale, Betty Hecht, and Louise Waters. Survivors include husband, James S. Luttrell; son and daughter-in-law, David and Justine Waters of Maryville; daughter, Melissa Luttrell and special friend Tony Keener of Lenoir City; granddaughters, Rebecca and Lindsay Waters both of Maryville; sisters, Mildred Webb, Anna Mae Harmon, and Lois Barbra, all of Maryville. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Jeff Parrott officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at Grandview cemetery for the Interment. WILLIE KATE PARROTT MOSER
Willie Kate Parrott Moser, age 77, widow of Willard Moser, of 340 Bill Moser Rd., Vonore, passed away 3 a.m. Sunday, November 28, 2004 at Wood Presbyterian Home.
Survivors: daughter, Patricia Moser, Vonore; son; James Moser, Madisonville; seven grandchildren; several sisters & brothers; numerous nieces & nephews. preceded in death by daughter, Edna Jean Ogle.
Funeral 7:30 p.m. Monday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Michael McLemore officiating. Interment 10 a.m. Tuesday, Hopewell Springs Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7:30 p.m. Monday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.

MARY ANN REPASS
Mary Ann Repass, age 72, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2004, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Retired from Pugh and Company CPA. preceded in death by parents, Fred and Susie Repass; brothers, Fred W. Repass and Bobby Joe Repass. Survived by sisters, Betty Boring, Nancy Benson and husband Bill, Carolyn Rutherford and husband Rev. James Rutherford, all of Maryville; aunt, Anna Mae Bertram; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be Sunday evening at 8 p.m. with Dr. John Sheldon officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720, or American Heart Association P.O. Box 409410, Atlanta, GA 30384-9410. Family and friends will meet at 12 noon Monday for graveside services at Lynnhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel.

OGLE, WILLIE J., 95, Maryville, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at Colonial Hill Nursing Home. Family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 29, 1-2 p.m., with the funeral at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Winchester. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens. Watson-Gamble & North Funeral Home, Winchester, in charge.

SMITH, JAMES C., 55, Maryville, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2004, at home. Arrangements will be announced by Smith Mortuary, Maryville.

CALVIN HOLBROOKS
Calvin Holbrooks has gone December 11, 2004, to meet the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Addie Holbrooks; grandson, Joshua Hollbrooks. He is survived by his wife, Linda Wells Holbrooks; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Joy Holbrooks, John and Jackie Holbrooks; daughter and son-in-law, Addie and Keith Leslie; nine grandchildren, all of Liberty, S.C.; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Scott Orr of Maryville; several brothers and sisters. The family and friends will meet at Grandview cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2004, for Graveside Funeral Services with Rev. Toby Downey officiating. ELISSA DANIELLE NICHOLS
Elissa Danielle Nichols, age 23, of Knoxville, died Friday, December 10, 2004 at U.T. Medical Center. She was a graduate of Bearden High School and was preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles O. Nichols. She is survived by her father, Leo Nichols of Maryville, and mother, Carrie Nichols of Knoxville; grandmothers, Ella Josephine Welch of Knoxville and Faye G. Nichols of Maryville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; her beloved pet yorkie, "Abby." Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at 8:00 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Danny Wells officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at Grandview cemetery for interment service. MARGARET ANN SMITH TRIMBLE SESSOMS
Margaret Ann Smith Trimble Sessoms, age 73, of Maryville, went to be with her Lord, Thursday, December 9, 2004, following an automobile accident in Atlanta, Ga. Born in Birmingham, Ala., Ann has also lived in Alcoa, Pittsburgh, Pa., and retired to the Alcoa-Maryville area in 1987. Ann was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville and the Chilhowee Club where she participated in the drama and ESO activities. She has also been a member of Alcoa First Baptist, Monroeville Baptist, and Lower Burrell Baptist and Monte Vista Baptist Churches.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Eugene Smith and Jimmie Stuart Smith ("Gi-Gi"), and her husbands, Robert Milton Trimble (Dec. 1992) and William James Sessoms (Dec. 1996). She is survived by daughter, Sandra Trimble Dahl and her husband Wilford Alan Dahl of Baltimore, Md.; sons, David Milton Trimble and wife Barbara Lott Trimble of Marion, Ind., and Mark Eugene Trimble and wife Elizabeth Hudson Trimble of Atlanta, Ga. "Ann-Mommy" and "Bob-Daddy" have eight grandchildren, Matthew Alan Dahl, David Stuart Dahl, Robert Drayton Dahl, Mrs. Kiel Nunn (Rebecca Lynn Trimble Nunn), Sherry Ann Trimble, Carrie Elizabeth Trimble, Adam Milton Trimble and John Marcus Trimble. Ann-Mommy is greatly loved by family and friends and will be missed.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Ballard and Rev. Henry Lingingfelter officiating. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

John Yates, age 81 of Maryville, passed away, Friday, December 10, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He drove a school bus for the Blount County School System for 36 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Yates, and son Charles Yates. Survivors include: son, Wayne Yates of Lenoir City; daughter and son-in-law, Shelby and Charles Abbott of Walland; four Grandchildren, Kristina Walker, Michelle, Shannon and Crystal; and eight great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ernest and Burdell Yates of Seymour; sister, Annie Hord of Maryville; sister-in-law Velma Yates of Maryville. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Monday, December 13, 2004, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary.
