Allie Jack Barnett, 88, of Maryville, TN died early Tuesday morning, November 16, 2004 at NHC Fort Sanders, Knoxville. She was of the Baptist faith, preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Fred H. Barnett.
Survivors: sons: Sherman 'Dewayne' and Lee Ann Barnett of Akron, Ohio, Walter and Linda Barnett of Zanesville, Ohio, Sherman and Julia Barnett, Sr. of Maryville; daughters: Patricia and Kenneth Giles of Greenback, Debra and David Garland of Maryville, Angela and Harry Morgan of Akron, Ohio; four grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2004. Family will meet at Cochran Cemetery, Englewood for services with Rev. Tom Baez officiating. Tate Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

JERRY DEAN BARRETT
Jerry Dean Barrett, 59 of Maryville died Monday, November 15, 2004 at his home. He is preceded in death by his father: C.L. Barrett. He was a Senior Master Sergeant and employed at McGee Tyson Air Base. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Vickie Beane Barrett; sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Tammy Barrett of Lenoir City, Tim and Amber Barrett; mother and stepfather, Edith and J.C. Russell; very special granddaughter, Autum McGinley all of Maryville; step grandchildren, Kasey Flanagan, Joshua Manning, Brandie Manning; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Howard Whitehead; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Sherry Russell; special aunt, Betty J. Mason; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Reagan and Rev. Lonnie Garner officiating. The family and friends will meet at 9:15 a. m. Thursday at the funeral home to proceed to Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church cemetery in Townsend for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

THOMAS MARTIN HART
Thomas Martin Hart-- age 73 of Malvern, Arkansas formerly of Lenoir City passed away Monday, November 15, 2004 in Malvern. He was of the Baptist Faith. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. He was a recipient of a Silver Star and Purple Heart during his service time. preceded in death by father, Hobert Hart Sr. and mother Dollie Hart Voiles. Survived by daughter Tina Logan and husband, Steve; son, Thomas (Sonny) Hart and wife, Rhonda; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Hobert Hart and wife, Aileen of Selmer, John Hart and wife, Barbara of Lenoir City, Bill Hart and wife, Brenda of Loudon, Chester Hart and wife, Teresa of Maryville; sister, Faye Burnette and husband, W. D. of Lenoir City; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Thursday in Loudon Co. Memorial Gardens for graveside services with Rev. Fred Cook officiating. Military honors will be conferred by VFW Post #5150 and American Legion Post #120, #70 and #256.

JOHN H. PRESLEY
John H. Presley, 61, of the Elkhead community near Sparta, Missouri, passed away Monday, Nov. 1, 2004 in his home. He was born Jan. 1, 1943, in Maryville, TN, the son of John and Ruth Presley.
John was an over-the-road truck driver and had resided in Christian County since 1989. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his pontoon boat, fishing and hunting. His attentiveness for others allowed him to be a very giving individual.
He was preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by a half brother, James Presley, of Cottage Grove, Wis.; a half sister, Linda Hepner, of Cheyenne, WY; a beloved aunt, Mary Thomas, of Maryville, TN; a special friend, Irene Martin of Sparta; several cousins and many caring friends.
A memorial service for John Presley was held in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri with Sister Audrey Watkins officiating. Mr. Presley's request was to be cremated and buried in TN beside his beloved grandmother. Memorial service to be held Sunday, November 21, 2004, at Cold Springs Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Services conducted by brother Elmer Thomas. Burial to follow in Cold Springs cemetery.

JOHN GLENN SEXTON
John Glenn Sexton, 55 of Powell passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2004. Employed by Efficient Elec. of Knoxville. John also served his country in Vietnam, Army '67-'71.
Preceded in death by parents, Viola Sexton of WA and James Sexton of SC.
Survivors include wife, Ruby Riggs Sexton; sons, Chris and Jeff Sexton both of CA; stepsons, Allen, Dale, Jimmy and Buddy Riggs all of Knox.; brothers, Dennis Sexton of Knox., Joe Sexton of Jefferson City, Tim and Alice Sexton of Maryville, Tom (Ernie) and Laura Sexton of Morristown; sisters, Linda and Steve Luddesmyer of Oregon, Teresa and Roy Mowell of Knox., Kathy Vaughn of IL; stepmother, Mildred Sexton; stepbrothers, Gene and Peggy Gentry, Jimmy Gentry, all of SC; stepsisters, Jerlean Dantzer of SC and Cindy and Wayne Lawner of Lake City; brothers-in-law, Bill Riggs and Marie Riggs of Mascot, Elmer and Gretchen Wilson of Powell; sister-in-law, Betty Folgers of KS; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held at East Alcoa Baptist Church, 152 N. Wright Road, Alcoa, TN at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Rev. David Randolph officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. If directions are needed please call 982-2611 or 765-1608.

PAUL WILLIAM BLANKENBECKLER
Paul William Blankenbeckler of Maryville, born March 28, 1925, passed into eternal rest in the arms of the Lord at 2:00 a.m. on November 15, 2004. His parents, Berget and Pauline Blankenbeckler, also of Maryville, preceded him in death.
Mr. Blankenbeckler was a graduate of Maryville High School, a veteran of World War II serving in the European Theater. He was a member of New Providence Masonic Lodge No. 128, a Boy Scout Master of Troop 82 at Broadway United Methodist Church, and a Dad Advisor for the Ralph N. Harbin Chapter Order of DeMolay. He was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville. He was also a retiree of Blount Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Blankenbeckler was the devoted husband of and is survived by Margaret Elizabeth (Keener) Blankenbeckler; also a sole brother, Ben Franklin Blankenbeckler and wife Buena (Anthony) Blankenbeckler. He also parented and is survived by children, Paul Norman Blankenbeckler and wife Donna Sue (McCall) Blankenbeckler, Ronald Lynn Blankenbeckler and wife Donna Lee (Bervard) Blankenbeckler, Lisa Ann (Blankenbeckler) Huffstetler and husband Herbert Nelson Huffstetler, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; four step great grandchildren..
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Brenda and Larry Carroll officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.

HENRY H. COLTHARP
Henry H. Coltharp, age 84 of 3850 Big Springs Ridge Road, Friendsville, passed away suddenly 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2004, at his home. Attended the Maryville First Church of Nazarene. Veteran of World War II, proudly serving in the U.S. Marines. A well-known avid trader. Son of the late George and Jody Coltharp.
Survivors: wife of 54 years, Dorothy Coltharp; daughter, Teresa J. Coltharp, Friendsville; son and daughter-in-law, Henry Thomas (Tony) and Eileen Coltharp, Andersonville, TN; grandchildren, Richard Thomas Coltharp, Christopher Henry Coltharp, Chelsey Michelle Coltharp, all of Friendsville; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by son, John William Coltharp; five sisters; three brothers.
Funeral 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Ray Couey, Rev. John Conley officiating. Interment in Chestua Baptist Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.

JESSIE ELAINE GRIMSLEY
Jessie Elaine Grimsley, age 59, a resident of Maryville, passed away November 14, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Elaine's bright light came into the world September 8, 1945, at Athens, Alabama. She was of the Baptist faith. Elaine lived life fully as a loving, caring wife, mother, friend and homemaker. She embraced everyone with shy sweetness, dark brown eyes, innocence, and a wee voice. Elaine loved animals, birds, teddy bears, poetry, television soap opera, and country music. She gave birth to a son to be most proud of with her best qualities and dark brown eyes.
Despite her petiteness, Elaine proved to be a fighter, perserving against many years of pain and debilitating illness.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Randall Grimsley, both recently celebrated 38 years of marriage. Other survivors include a son, Randall Scott Grimsley; two grandsons, Miller James Grimsley and Owen Matthew Grimsley; also mother, Mabel Hames; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cordell Simpson officiating. The interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
Friends may call at their convenience from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, then the family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 17, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville, TN. MARY COCHRAN HUSKEY
Mary Cochran Huskey, age 70, of Maryville passed away Saturday, November 13, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and a graduate of Everett High School. Mary lived in Sylva, N.C., for twenty years where she worked for Contel as a telephone operator. After retiring, she spent the last fourteen years in Maryville where she took outstanding care of her mother. Her mother passed away two years ago at age 97 and was united with her entire family. She was a loving mother and dedicated wife for 50 years. Mary was preceded in death by: parents, H.T. and Hettie Cochran; sister, Betty Jo Griffith. Survivors include: husband, Leonard Huskey; daughter, Teresa Chastain, both of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Jim H. and Elizabeth Huskey of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Brendon Chastain of Hayesville, N.C., Sara Beth, Anna Kathryn, and Amanda Huskey, all of Charlotte, N.C.; niece, Kim Griffith Perkins and children Erin and Kelly of Longwood, Fla.; brother-in-law, Bill Griffith of Oak Ridge. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2004, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Tom Hodges officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2004, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.

VIRGINIA PEACOCK
Virginia Peacock, age 88, of Maryville, died Friday, November 12, 2004. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Virginia had a great passion for golf, getting her first hole in one at the age of 80. She was formerly of Ft. Myers, Florida, Harrodsburg, Kentucky and the greater Lansing, Michigan area. preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Ida Cobb; sister and brother-in-law, Merna and Milford Moore. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Floyd Peacock; daughters, Nancy Peacock Achenbach (Bill) and Suzanne Peacock Julian (Larry); grandchildren, Scott Achenbach (Beth) of Lansing, Michigan, Sara Achenbach Cook (Dennis) of Oakland, California, Traci Roca Magee (Steve), Hope Roca McDonald (Edward), all of Knoxville, Zoe Roca of Maryville; 5 beautiful great-granddaughters. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2005 for the family. Faye Evelyn Burgess Reed, age 62 of Louisville, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2004, at U.T. Medical Center. She was a member of Louisville First Baptist Church and preceded in death by parents, Carl and Elsie Jane Burgess; and sister, Beulah Rushing. Survivors include husband, Donald Reed; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Jr. and Lisa Reed of Maryville, Ronald and Dianne Reed of Rockford, Jeff Reed of Louisville, Steve Reed of Maryville and Derick Reed of Louisville; grandchildren, Eric and Matthew Reed both of Maryville; brothers and sister-in-law, George and Barbara Burgess of Maryville and Johnny Burgess of Chattanooga; sisters and brother-in-law, Ann and Leroy Huff of Maryville and Thelma Campbell of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Mike Seagle officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service. Family will receive friends 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
