Survivors include: husband, Otis Shelton; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Ineta Shelton of SC; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. Memorial service will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2004 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. David Bayless, Rev. Luther Rowland and Rev. Rex Everett officiating. Lorene Loretta (Nannie) Baker, 81, of 152 E. Edison Street, Alcoa, TN went to be with her Heavenly Father October 19, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital.
Nannie was born to John and Molly Bussell Lenoir on April 2, 1923 in the Martel Community of Lenoir City, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy C. Baker; parents; brothers Carl, Charles and James Lenor Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories a very devoted daughter, Lee McCall Earls; and a grandson, Renwick Earls Sr. both of Alcoa; granddaughter, Devike 'Dee Dee' (Cleveland) Harville of Liburn, GA; great-grandsons, Neal, Montray Renwick Earls Jr of Alcoa and Cleveland Harville III of GA; great-granddaughters, Aquila Shereef of Knoxville and McKenizee Harville of GA; sisters, Betty (Robert) McGhee of Maryville, TN and Beulah (George) Giles of San Diego CA; brother, John (Betty) Lenoir of Alcoa; several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Funeral will be held on Friday, October 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Foothills Funeral Home with Rev. Robert McGhee officiating. Interment to follow at the Martel Community Cemetery.

Louna Rae Neal Bradley, age 64 of Zavalla, Texas formerly of Knoxville passed away, Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the family home. preceded in death by parents, James W. and Mary E. Davis Neal.
Survived by her husband, John N. Bradley; daughters, Kathy Covington of Clinton, TN and Karla Horner of California; son, James E. Bradley of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Neal of Sevierville; sister, Ann Brown of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews.

Mary E. Caughron, age 94 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at Colonial Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Maryville Seventh-Day Adventist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Caughron.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Eugene and Gaynell Caughron of Maryville, Roy and Marilyn Caughron of SC; daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Dick Martin of Augusta, GA, Ethel and Jack Bean of Huntsville, AL, Janie and Norman Gideon of Maryville; daughter, Sue Begley of Sharpsburg, GA; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren; best friends, Larry and Vickie Rahn.
Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Roy Caughron, Scott Begley and Rob Clayton officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Grandview cemetery for the interment service.

PEGGY CHAMBERS
Peggy Chambers, 66, Kingsport, died Wednesday, (October 20, 2004) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center after an extended illness.
Born in Speedwell, TN, she had resident in Kingsport since 1964 and was a graduate of East Tennessee State University. Mrs. Chambers taught in the Kingsport City School System at Robinson Middle School and Dobyns-Bennett High School until her retirement in 1995.
Mrs. Chambers was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Snodderly; mother, Roxie Snodderly; and brother, Chollie Snodderly.
Surviving are her husband, Vaughn Chambers, Kingsport; daughter, Gina Bishop, Kingsport; granddaughter, Haley Bishop, Kingsport; brother and sister-in-law, Lynn and Gail Snodderly, Baltimore, MD; niece, Kim Daniels and husband, Sam, Laurel, MD; nephew, Lee Snodderly, Thomasville, NC.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Homes, Kingsport.
Family graveside services will be conducted Sunday afternoon in Alcoa, TN.
In lieu of flowers, Peggy's family would be honored to have memorials made in her name to Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, ICU Step-down, 130 West Ravine Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.

Mabel M. Conner, born December 12, 1902, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at Fairpark Healthcare Center. She was a member of Rockford Baptist Church and a member of the Blount Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Conner; sisters, Dessie Malone, Lelan Malone, Mrs. Roy (Charlcie) Reed, Mrs. Clyde (Sydney) Lawson, Mrs. H. A. (Mildred) Sams; brothers, Robert (Bob) Malone, Ralph Malone and Ray Malone; and 2 nephews.
Survivors include her sister, Ruth A. Malone of Maryville; 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Clark's Grove cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Russ Maples officiating.

Sanford 'Pudge' Garrett, age 65 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith and a lifelong carpenter and craftsman. He was preceded in death by father, Lester Garrett; mother, Johnnie Keathley; step mother, Bessie Garrett Ridge; brother, Birch; and sister, Estella Garrett. Survivors include loving wife of 44 years, Deloris Garrett; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Randy Franklin of Maryville; grandchildren, Aaron and Heather Franklin, who were very special to him; brothers and sister-in-law, Jim and Ruth Garrett of Ohio, Steve Garrett and Jack Lawson both of Maryville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and John Gidley of Porto Rico, Margaret and Harry Farmer, Marie and Ronnie Downey, Virginia Lawson and Dorothy Lawson all of Maryville; several nieces and nephews and a lot of loving friends and his buddy, Taco. She was retired from Townsend school cafeteria. preceded in death by: first husband, Ira Ledbetter; second husband, Robert Tipton; parents, Harrison and Daisey Effler; brothers, Ottis and Jack Effler; sisters, Zella McClanahan, Cordia Buchanan; infant daughter, Juanita; son-in-law, Jack Webb.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Joyce Ledbetter of Townsend; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Phillip Burns of New Mexico; daughter, Joan Webb of Townsend; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Lawson of Walland; brother, Frank Effler of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Doris T. Vanderpool, age 94 of Maryville, formerly of Harriman passed away Thursday, October 21, 2004 at Asbury Place in Maryville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ralph G. Vanderpool, and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Shirley and husband, Gerald Hutchison of Maryville; granddaughter, Diane Hutchison of Lexington, NC; sister, Connie Garrett of Hamburg, MI.
