Billy J. Fowler, age 43, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith. preceded in death by his father, Oscar Fowler, and a brother, Steve Sexton. Survived by his loving family: mother, Ruby Fowler of Maryville; sister, Kelly Hall of Rockford; brother, Stacy Fowler of Maryville; two nieces, Christy Brown of White Pine and Amber Fowler of Rockford; four nephews, Timothy and Mathew Hall of Rockford, Ryan Hiser, also of Rockford, and Nathan Fowler of Knoxville; He also leaves numerous aunts and uncles. A special thanks to the nurses at Maryville Health Care and Rehab Center; also, to the nurses and assistants of Blount Memorial Home Health Care. Billy is at Highland Memorial, where the family will receive friends Wednesday, September 29, from 7-9 p.m. Arrangements by Highland Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations, 588-0567.

MARGARET LOUISE JUSTUS
Margaret Louise Justus, age 90, of Maryville, died Sunday, September 26, 2004, at Maryville Healthcare Center. She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. preceded in death by: husband, Tom Justus; daughter, Doris Ellen Schott; son, Edward Dwayne Justus; four sisters; one brother. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Emerson Caughron of Maryville; sons, Thomas Carl Justus and wife Cindy and James Donald Justus, all of Ill.; Daughter, Evelyn Webster of Ill.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Funeral service will be 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2004, in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Earl Taylor officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2004, at Knob Creek cemetery for the interment. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000

AZILEE IDA HILL
Azilee Ida Hill, age 83, of Maryville, died Saturday September 25, 2004, at Maryville Health Care.
She was of Baptist Faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Marr Hill.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Josie and Mike Coppenger of Greenback; daughter, Pauline Jensen of Friendsville; sons and daughters-in-law, J.C. and Mildred Hill of Talbott, Richard and Delores Hill of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Toby Hill, Kari Coppenger, Missy Alexander, Kimberly Taylor, Kelley Bates, Glenn Hill, James Jensen, Leon Jenson, Marie Lawson, Lynn Jensen, Ann Hill and Linda Townsend; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Hill and Rev. Owen Evans officiating. The interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Pine Grove cemetery in Greenback. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

DOROTHY MARIE HUFFSTETLER JOHNSON
Dorothy Marie Huffstetler Johnson, age 77, of Maryville, died Sunday, September 26, 2004, at Asbury Place.
She was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Johnson; parents, Otis and Mamie Huffstetler; brothers, Clark Davis, Oscar Huffstetler and Lewis Huffstetler.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Ronald Reed of Rockford; brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Deanie Huffstetler of Maryville, Richard and Jean Huffstetler of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Earl and Lola Huffstetler of Texas; sister, Shirley Cable of Maryville; sister-in-law, Helen Davis of Maryville.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church, 4626 Logan's Chapel Loop Road, Wildwood. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 2200 Sutherland Avenue, Knoxville. Arrangements by Dotson Funeral Home, Wildwood. (984-5959)

GERALD `JERRY' SMITH JR.
Gerald (Jerry) Smith Jr., age 39, of Maryville, died Thursday, September 23, 2004, at North Valley Medical Center in Dunlap, as a result of an auto accident. He loved the outdoors and the mountains. He also enjoyed collecting arrowheads and models. Survivors include his wife, Linda Smith; daughter, Samantha Smith Hodge; sons, Tobie, Sampson and Jeremy Smith; parents, Gerald and Maudie Smith Sr. of Maryville; sisters, Sarah Smith of Melbourne, Fla.; and Linda Barr of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Clifton Sellers Jr. of Maryville; mother-in-law, Sue Buckner of Spring City; brother-in-law and wife, Dwayne and Heather Buckner of Dayton; several nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2004, in the Dotson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Jennings officiating. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2004, at Rocky Branch Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Dotson Funeral Home, 4838 Wildwood Road, Wildwood (984-5959). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.

ARTHUR EDGAR WITHROW
Arthur Edgar Withrow, 67, of Maryville, died Sunday, September 26, 2004, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erven and Louise Word Withrow; brothers, Kenneth Withrow Sr., and Carl Withrow; sister, Esta Lee Smith; nephew, Kenneth Withrow Jr. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Becky Withrow, James Withrow, Carl and Heather Withrow and Sandra Smith; great-nieces and -nephews, Michael Withrow, Jacob Withrow, Cody Withrow and Cory Smith; many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday September 27, 2004, at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Harrison Hill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

LYKINS, CLARABELLE, 94, Maryville, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Miller Funeral Home.

EGGERS, KENNETH L.E. "POP, " 77, Maryville, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Arrangements will be announced by McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

Margaret Dale Britt, age 53, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2004, at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center. She was preceded in death by father, Edgar M. Dale, and sister, Peggy Jo Dale Woody. Survived by her mother, Frances J. Dale of Maryville; niece, Melina Woody Barnes and husband Adrian of Knoxville; nephew, Dale Woody of Maryville. Funeral service 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2004, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Pastor Tom Hatley officiating. Graveside service and interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

COADA, ROXIE, 78, Maryville, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Arrangements will be announced by Miller Funeral Home.

MATTIE J. LAW ABBOTT
Mattie J. Law Abbott, age 88, of Maryville passed away Monday morning, October 11, 2004 at the family home. Charter member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. preceded in death by husband, Rev. Ben Israel Abbott; sons, Benny Lowell Abbott, Jacky Abbott; daughter, Jo Ann Abbott; great-grandson, Michael Shane Harrill; step-daughter, Barbara Jean Harrison; son-in-law, Bill Jones; sisters, Alene Payne, Ruth Russell, Mildred Whitehead; parents, John and Susie Teffeteller Law.

KATE WILLIAMS GRAHAM
Kate Williams Graham, age 81 of Maryville passed away Monday, October 11, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by: parents, James Thomas Gardner and Harriett Naomi Tipton; brothers, Roy Gardner of Atlanta, and Bill Gardner of Maryville; sister, Irene Walker of Arlington, VA. Survivors include, son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Wilma Williams of Maryville; sisters, Helen Cooper, Betty Buchanan both of Maryville; brothers, Arthur Gardner and J. T. Gardner both of Maryville, and Charles Gardner of Powell; two grandchildren, Vickie Millard and Wayne Williams; five great-grandchildren, Zachary, Gavin, and Katrina Williams, Jacob and Adam Millard. Funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2004 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. J. W. Hopper officiating. Family and friends will assemble for the Entombment at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2004 at Grandview Mausoleum. ROBERT LEE HORNER
Robert Lee Horner, age 77, of Townsend went to be with his Lord and Savior October 11, 2004. He was a member of Caylor's Baptist Church, Townsend, and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn King Horner; son, Lee King Horner; parents, Ernest F. and Mayme Colboch Horner; brothers, Elmer Horner and E.F., Jr. 'Bootie' Horner; sisters, Fannie Rae Helton and Betty Jo Horner.
He is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Trundle, Charlene and Gilbert Webb, Rita and Chris Vananda, Teresa and Barry Johnson, and Connie and Mike 'Thunder' Roberts; sisters, Gertrude Buchanan, Billie and Ed Wolfe, Kate King; brother, Tommy Horner; grandchildren, Michelle and Gary Hayes, Stacy Vananda, Yvonne and Richard Carnes, Jason and Lara Vananda, Kerri Webb, Alicia and Josh Custer, Kenda, Caroline, JT, and Tate Roberts; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be an informal fellowship at Caylor's Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Townsend, Tuesday October 12, 2004 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of the Cove Building Fund, PO Box 655, Townsend, Tennessee 37882. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.

HAROLD B. OLIVE
Harold B. Olive, age 67, of Shepherdstown, WV, died Friday, October 8, 2004 at City Hospital, Martinsburg, WV. He was born in Jasper, AL, Sept. 6, 1937. Mr. Olive retired in 1978, from the U.S. Navy as a Master Chief Petty Officer, having served on the USS Andrew Jackson and the John Adams Submarines. After his Naval Career, he had been a Systems Analyst and Instructor with BAE Systems, Rockville, MD. During his Military Service he was an Active Coach of Little League Football. Mr. Olive received the following Medals: National Defense Service Medal, Five Good Conduct Medals, Navy Achievement Medal. He was a member of Victory Free Will Baptist Church, Halltown, WV.
Preceded in death by father, A. R. Olive; daughter, Beth Ann Olive.
Survivors: wife, Patricia 'Pat' Wright Olive, formerly of Leetown, WV; mother, Wilma B. Olive Kagley, Louisville; daughter, Denise Sotomayor, Phoenix, AZ; sons, Michael L. Olive, Tupelo, Miss., Scott E. Olive, Scarbro, WV; step-daughter, Brenda Loy Thompkins, Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren, Kyle Perry, Derek Perry, Brandon Olive, Christopher McClish; step-grandchildren, Brandi L. Thompkins, Justin Loy, Chris Loy; sisters, Dorothy Smithey, Friendsville, TN, Melba A. Olive, Louisville, TN.
Services to be held at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, WV with pastor Richard Nethercutt officiating. Interment at Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper, VA. Friends will be received at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home.

George F. Robbins, age 76 of Maryville died Monday, October 11, 2004 at home. preceded in death by: parents, Samuel and Nina Robbins; brother, James Morgan Robbins; sister, Lillie Mae Pass. Survivors include: wife, Vanessa Robbins; son, James Robbins; daughters, Robin Bailey, Judy Omelia, Vicky Britt, and Shelia Annette Robbins; eleven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Wolfe. Berta Kirkland Saunders, age 92 of Walland died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of West Miller's Cove Primitive Baptist Church. preceded in death by: husband, Alfred Saunders; daughter, Jeana Myers; son, Gerald (Jimmy) Saunders; brother, Jack Burnette; grandson, Anthony (Tony) Myers. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Carol Saunders of Walland; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Saunders of Athens, TN; son-in-law, John Myers of Angola, IN; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, October 14, 2004 at Grandview cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev. Ronnie Blair officiating. James M. 'Slim' Smith, age 78 of Walland died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at home. preceded in death by: parents, Marion and Lillie Mae Smith; brothers, Theodore and Clinton Radford; sister, Margaret Allen.
