Teddy Dwight Foutch

54 year old Teddy Dwight Foutch of Smithville died Sunday evening at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga. He was a retired employee of Whirlpool. The funeral will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at the New Life United Pentecostal Church, where he was a member. Dwayne Cornelius and Terry Arnold will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 3:00 p.m. All visitation will be at the church. He is survived by his wife, Libby Foutch of Smithville. A son, Michael and his wife Niki Foutch of Liberty. Step-sons, Brent and his wife Lacy Arnold and Brandon Arnold of Smithville. Grandchildren, Matthey and Taylor Foutch and Calen and Jackson Arnold. His mother, Bobbie Chapman of Alexandria. His father and step-mother, Jimmy and Shirley Foutch of Alexandria. A sister, Faye and her husband William Frazier of Liberty. A half sister, Monica and her husband Wendell Fowler of Gordonsville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Rena Bogle Johnson

38 year old Rena Bogle Johnson of Smithville died Friday night at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. B.J. Thomason and Larry Briggs will officiate and burial will be in the Snow Hill Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Howard Bogle and Ofallon Bryant Byford. Survivors include a son, Josh Tate of Smithville. A daughter, Tori Tate of Smithville. Sisters, Linda Nokes of Smithville and Alice Beech of Atlanta, Georgia. Brothers, Keith Bogle of Murfreesboro and Billy Bogle of Smithville. A close friend, Trish Durham. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. The family has asked that donations be made to the Rena Johnson Memorial Fund in memory of Rena, in lieu of flowers.

Lula Mae Booth

83 year old Lula Mae Booth of Ohio and a native of the Jefferson Community in DeKalb County, died Saturday at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was a retired factory worker. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Michael Hale will officiate and burial will be in the Jefferson Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until 2:30 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation Thursday will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Eldridge and Hallie Mae Adcock Thweatt; a brother, Jesse Thweatt; sisters, Stella Young, Martha Gribble, Eldridge Thweatt, and Betty Judkins. Survivors include her husband, James F. Booth; a daughter, Pam and her husband Jerry Adkins of Galloway, Ohio; sons, Mike Booth of Galloway, Ohio and Frank Booth of Oxford, Michigan; Grandchildren, Lori and her husband Billy Delong; Julie and her husband Ryan Jagoda, Joseph Booth, Courtney Booth, Jeremy Adkins, and Katie and her husband Bill Durham; Great grandchildren, Ashley Rarrick and Timmy Delong. Two sisters, Lodean Ferguson and Wilma Judkins both of Smithville. The family has requested that donations be made to a Hospice of your choice, in lieu of flowers. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.

Gertie Irene Robinson

88 year old Gertie Irene Robinson of McMinnville died Friday at NHC in Warren County. She was the retired owner and operator of Robinson's Fish Market, a member of the Bordeaux Baptist Church, and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #342. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. David Watson and Virgil Hibdon, Jr. will officiate and burial will be in the Dixon Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until 8:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hughy and Cora Vanatta Hibdon and her husband, J.D. Robinson. Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, James Edward and Irene Hibdon of McMinnville. A sister and brother-in-law, Magaline and Bill Morley of Texas. Six nieces, six nephews, and thirty two great nieces and nephews. Two aunts, Hazel Hibdon of Smithville and Milas Hibdon of McMinnville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Dorothy Dean Keith

70 year old Dorothy Dean Keith of Smithville died Thursday at Baptist Hospital in Nashville. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Elizabeth Chapel Baptist Church. The funeral will be Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Leonard Herman will officiate and burial will be in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 3:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Virgil O'Conner Johnson; her husband, John Keith; and four brothers, Roy, A.J., Odell, and Bill Johnson. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Dave Butterbaugh of Liberty. Two sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and June Keith and David Keith all of Smithville. Five grandchildren, Holly Clayborn, Daniel and Jennifer Butterbaugh, and Joseph Butterbaugh all of Liberty, and Bryan Keith, Britni and Will Judkins all of Smithville. Three great grandchildren, Shelly Clayborn, William and Grant Butterbaugh all of Liberty and a sister, Ruth Stern of Murfreesboro. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

79 year old Claudine Pack of the Jefferson Community died Friday at DeKalb Community Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Hope The Baptist Church. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Hattie Hutchens Turner; a son, Ricky Pack; two sisters, Wilene Cantrell and Geneva Turner; and two brothers, Maris and Lois Turner. 61 year old Janie Evelyn Young Harding of McMinnville died Tuesday at St. Thomas Hospital. She was a retired cafe owner and a Pentecostal. The funeral will be Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Mount View cemetery in Warren County. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel Walter and Bessie Jaco Young; her husband, Robert Harding; a son, Randy Jones; two brothers, John Thomas and Samuel Young; and a sister, Edna Merritt. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Tammy Harding of Rock Island and Michael Johnson of Irving College. Six grandchildren, Diamond and Robby Harding, Angel and Jerald Jones, Jerry Ryan Holt, and Casey Newby. Three great grandchildren. 89 year old Ila Mai Martin of Alexandria died Saturday at UMC Hospital in Lebanon. She was a DeKalb County native, a homemaker, and a member of the West Main Baptist Church in Alexandria where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was a former WMU director. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the West Main Baptist Church. Thurman Seber and Ronnie Smith will officiate and burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from noon until 9:00 p.m.; Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Lofton and Myrtle Eva King Smith; her husband, Charles B. Martin; and a brother, Robert King Smith. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Freddy and Laverne Martin of Alexandria. A grandson, Jason and his wife Resa Martin of Christiana. A granddaughter, Trena Gassaway of Alexandria. Great granddaughters, Dana Christine Martin, Claire Elizabeth Martin, and Julia Grace Martin. Clifton Arvie "Cliff" Maynard

66 year old Clifton Arvie "Cliff" Maynard of White Bluff died Saturday at the Horizon Medical Center. A graveside service will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the Nosegay Cemetery. Buck Allan will officiate. He is survived by his wife, Digna Maynard of White Bluff. A son, Trevis Maynard of Liberty. Two daughters, Connie Maynard and Sandra D. Wonner both of White Bluff. Two brothers, Gearl Maynard of Nashville and Marshall Maynard of Brush Creek. Sisters, Naomie Malone of Mount Juliet, Keeble Thweatt of Smithville, Sally Jones of Liberty, Shirley Wright of Nashville, Sybil Waite of Murfreesboro, and Barbara Crague of Madison. Seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. Taylor Funeral Home in Dickson is in charge of the arrangements. There will be no public visitation.

Berniece Marcum Jackson

86 year old Berniece Marcum Jackson of McMinnville died Friday at her residence of an extended illness. She was born in White County. Jackson was also a retired employee of the McMinnville Garment Company and a member of the Newtown The Baptist Church. The funeral will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Hill The Baptist Church in White County. Howard Hooper, Leslie Moore, and James Wright will officiate and burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. The Jackson family will receive friends on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Spring Hill The Baptist Church. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Bessie Knowles Marcum; sisters, Katherine Marcum and Reba Tindell; and brothers, Reed and John Marcum. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Hobert E. Jackson of McMinnville. Sons, Paul D. Jackson of Orlando, Florida and Donald E. Jackson of McMinnville. A daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Calvin D. Jones of McMinnville. Brothers, Alton and Pearle Marcum, Meril and Ruby Marcum, and Earl Marcum all of White County. Four grandchildren, Jim Blankenship, Donna Overall, Jeremy Jackson, and Jennifer Jackson. Six great grandchildren, Justin, Cody, Abagail, Rachel, Alec, and Adain, and several nieces and nephews. McMinnville Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
