Funeral services for Mr. Hershell Vaughn, 52, of the Mineral Springs Community near Monterey, will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, February 4, 2004, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.
Burial will be in Vaughn Family cemetery with Rev. Eugene McCowan officiating.
Mr. Vaughn died Sunday, February 1 at his home.
Born October 12, 1951, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Louis and Rosie (Dishman) Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Faye Vaughn; and a brother, Paul Vaughn.
Survivors include six sisters, Jewel Cathcart and Josie Smith, both of North Vernon, IN, Christeen Mahaney of Indianapolis, IN, Norma Jean Randolph of Nashville, Mildred Maxwell of Monterey, and Connie Ribardi of Cookeville; and six brothers, Arnold Vaughn of Pomona Park, FL, Harson Vaughn, James Vaughn, and Russell Vaughn, all of Monterey, Fred Vaughn of Indianapolis, and Arnold Vaughn of the Rocky Point Community.

DELMA JEAN MITCHELL
Funeral services for Mrs. Delma Jean Mitchell, 66, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 1, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Good Hope cemetery with Bro. Bobby Buford and Bro. John Copeland officiating.
Mrs. Mitchell died Tuesday, December 30 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a seamstress at a garment factory and of the Baptist faith.
Born January 16, 1937, in Clay County, she was the daughter of Reba Lee (Davis) Hayes of Celina and the late R.T. Hayes. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Jackie Hayes, Jerry Hayes, Houston Hayes, and Walter Hayes; and two sisters, Sue Dodson and Lois Johnson.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two sons, Terry Wayne Mitchell and his wife, Felicia, and Christopher Lee Mitchell, all of Livingston; a daughter, Cynthia Jean Eldridge and her husband, Terry, of Livingston; three brothers, Carl Hayes of Livingston, and J.T. Hayes and Ricky Hayes, both of Celina; two sisters, Docia Kirby of Rickman and Frankie Burris of Celina; six grandchildren, Christopher Blake Mitchell, Terry Joe Mitchell, Sacha Nasha Mitchell, Ashley Gail Mitchell, Misty Dawn Looper, and Hannah Mae Mitchell; and two great grandchildren; Tyler Davis Boswell and Jasmine Cheyenne Boswell.
Pallbearers were Anthony Hayes, Michael Hayes, Jason Swallows, Josh Truell, Jacob Boswell, Greg Kinsler, Jack Collins, and Gary Looper.

CHARLIE PHILLIPS
Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Phillips, 86, of Monterey, were conducted at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, January 7, 2004, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.
Burial will be in Phillips cemetery in the Anderson Community, with Rev. Randy Bilbrey and Rev. David Harris officiating.
Mr. Phillips died Sunday, January 4 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a retired coal miner.
Born October 15, 1914, in Monterey, he was the son of the late Laborn and Clora Mae (Vaughn) Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Emby Phillips, J.C. Phillips, Jake Phillips, Joe Phillips, John Phillips, and L.A. (Dempsey) Phillips; and five sisters, Dora Murphy, Rinda (Vaughn) Nash, Liddie Murphy, Emma Phillips, and Hena Lou Phillips.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

ELNORA RUBLE
Funeral services for Mrs. Elnora Ruble, 96, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Hoover cemetery with Bro. H.C. Vanderpool officiating.
Mrs. Ruble died Friday, January 2 at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Allons.
Born November 22, 1907, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Erman (Walker) Logan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Ruble; and two sons, Leisel W. Ruble and Claxton Ruble.
Survivors include three sons, Glen Ruble of Indianapolis, IN, John Ruble of Sunrise, FL, and Ronnie Ruble of Allons; four daughters, Beulah Simons and Virginia Thompson, both of Pembrook Pines, FL, Geneva Hawkins of Allons, and Patsy Johnson of Columbia; a sister, Zelma Johnson of Port Huron, MI; 24 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

NANNIE LEE (BILBREY) WILSON
Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Lee (Bilbrey) Wilson, 80, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 24, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilson died Monday, December 22 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a housewife and of the Baptist faith.
Born September 11, 1923, in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Dorothy (George) Ray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Bilbrey; a daughter, Patricia Ann (Bilbrey) Groce; two brothers, Melvin Ray and Cortis Ray; and a sister, Flora (Ray) Ledbetter.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha Cheryl Reels of Livingston; 9 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

DOROTHY LEE WINNINGHAM
Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Lee Winningham, 94, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Winningham died Tuesday, December 30 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a custodian at PuckettŐs Furniture and a member of First United Pentacostal Church.
Born March 3, 1909, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Tim and Becky (Kennedy) Allred. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Winningham; four sons, Alphas Winningham, Willie Andrew Winningham, Duane Winningham, and Tim Winningham; two daughters, Omagene Garrett and Opal Keisling; a brother, Alfred Allred; three sisters, Ava Wisdom, Colva Winningham, and Grace (Flowers) Reeder; a grandson, Danny Garrett; a granddaughter, Teresa Carr; and a great grandson, William Michael Keisling.
Survivors include five grandsons, Archie B. Winningham, Duane Winningham, and Donald Winningham, all of Cookeville, James Garrett of Detroit, MI, and Michael Keisling of Vandervoort, AR; five granddaughters, Patty Maulding of Monterey, Becky Wheatley, Pam Boswell, and Vickie Monday, all of Cookeville, and Kathy Vearce of Elkton, KY; 20 great grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren; a special nephew, Archie Allred; and a special neice, Oneida Haney.

DAVID FRANKLIN MOORE
Funeral services for Mr. David Franklin Moore, 46, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was in Eckels cemetery with Pastor Verna Seager officiating.
Mr. Moore died Thursday, July 24 at his home. He was a diesel mechanic and attended Livingston Church of God of Prophecy.
Born July 12, 1957, in Overton County, he was the son of Willie Grace (Davis) Moore Hargis of Livingston and the late Walter Tin Moore. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Biddie Moore of Livingston; a son, David Franklin Moore II of Livingston; three half-brothers, Horton Moore of the Willow Grove Community and Bobby Joe Johnson and Terry Wayne Johnson, both of Livingston; and two half-sisters, Irene Dennis of Livingston and Clarie Wright of Monroe.

CARVEL O. COPE SR.
Funeral services for Mr. Carvel O. Cope Sr., 77, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004, at First United Methodist Church in Livingston.
Burial, with full military honors performed by James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 Honor Guard, was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Craig Green and Rev. L.C. Trout officiating.
Mr. Cope died Tuesday, November 23 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was the owner of Fentress Block Company and a United States Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a past president of Livingston Jaycees.
Born May 17, 1927, in Overton County, he was the son of the late L.V. and Bethel Rose (Bilbrey) Cope. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Dona (Speck) Bilbrey and Calvin and Nettie Cope; and two brothers, Edward Cope and Harold Paul Cope.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbye Cope of Livingston; a son, Carvel "Buddy" Cope Jr. of Livingston; two daughters, Karen (Cope) Byrd of Arlington, VA, and Monica (Cope) Eldridge and her husband, Boone, of Livingston; a brother, Bobby Cope of California; five grandchildren, Dr. Amy Spears Hix, Mary Byrd Jeanes and her husband, Kevin, Jordan McNeil Byrd, Hannah Victoria Byrd, and Rachel Katherine Byrd; a great grandchild, Christopher Lawrence Hix II; a nephew; and three nieces.

Mr. Cyphers died Monday, November 22 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a retired foundry worker with Bridgeport Brass and a member of Woodmen of the World. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
Born September 17, 1927, in Clay County, he was the son of the late Tom Bennett and Hattie (Long) Cyphers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Cyphers; two brothers, Edward Cyphers and Norman Cyphers; and two sisters, Louella Little and Rose.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Williams of Livingston; a son, Orland Cyphers Jr. of Rossville, IN; two daughters, Sharyl Harshbarger of Willow Grove and Sheila Bahnsen of Athens, GA; two brothers, B.F. Cyphers of Indianapolis, IN, and Curtis Cyphers; a sister, Maedrew Mullins of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

THOMAS C. REAGAN
Mr. Thomas C. Reagan, 73, of Dayton, OH, passed away Friday, November 19, 2004, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Edgar and Ora Reagan; a sister, Lana Ruth Reagan; and a great grandson, Thomas Ash.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Wanda, mother of Deborah Estep; his loving wife, Mary, mother of Jane Huffman; grandchildren, Morgan and Seth Estep, Nicole and Josh Holmes, Ryan Huffman, and Natalie Huffman; great grandchild, Allie Holmes; brothers, Paul Reagan and his wife, Robbie Reagan, Champ and his wife, Jewell, both of Livingston, and Jack and Christine Reagan of Allons; sisters, Wanell Key and her husband, Earl, of Nashville, Ann Fike and her husband, John, of Bradford, OH; numerous nieces and nephews; dear friends, Tony and Lois Gerner and Woody and Mary; and a host of relatives and friends.
Mr. Reagan served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at Angell Manufacturing for 17 years and retired from PTI after 26 years of service. He was an avid bingo player and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 23, 2004, at 7 p.m. at the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home with Pastor David Renfro officiating.

Mr. Robbins died Monday, November 22 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a brick mason, a contractor, a farmer, and a member of Bethsaida Christian Church.
Born July 24, 1943, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Dewey Shelton Sr. and Vallie (Padgett) Robbins.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Robbins of Monroe; four sons, Robby Robbins and his wife, Melissa, of Livingston, and Scotty Robbins, Anthony Robbins and his wife, Renee, and Dewey Adam Robbins and his wife, Lisa, all of Monroe; two brothers, Ted Robbins and his wife, Patsy, and Tony Robbins and his wife, Patty, all of Monroe; three sisters, Peggy Garrett and her husband, Edwin, of Allons, Patsy Cantrell of Bloomingdale, MI, and Pam Wilson and her husband, Robert, of Anderson, SC; and 11 grandchildren, Tabitha Dishman, Tristan Robbins, Tate Robbins, Tori Robbins, Lacy Robbins, Holly Robbins, Andy Robbins, Carlie Robbins, Valley Robbins, Braxton Eli Robbins, and Zora Robbins.
