ALMA FLOY (CARTER) HARVEY
Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Floy (Carter) Harvey, 78, of Monroe, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2004, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.

Burial was in Old Bethel cemetery with Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating.

Mrs. Harvey died Sunday, September 26 at Overton County Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Free Communion Church of Christ.

Born February 25, 1926, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Richardson) Carter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Onas Harvey; a son, Leon Jeff Harvey; and a brother, Coy Carter.

Survivors include a son, Larry Harvey and his wife, June, of Allons; three daughters, Louise Copeland and her husband, Leonard, of Hilham, Lisa Medley and her husband, Larry, of Silver Point, and Linda Rogers and her husband, Ronnie, of Smithville; three brothers, Hoy Carter and Stanley Carter, both of Monroe, and Jerry Carter of Michigan; five sisters, Marie Sells of Allons, Betty Verble of Algood, Ann Galbert of Zenia, OH, Henrietta Carter of Monroe, and Irene Carter of Livingston; six grandchildren; and a great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Jacob Harvey, Junior Carter, Matthew Harvey, Roger Harvey, James Sells, and Johnny Hoy Carter.

MAXINE MAYNORD MARTIN
Funeral services for Mrs. Maxine Maynord Martin, 92, of Rickman, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2004, from the Rickman Chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Netherland cemetery with Bro. Roger Anderson officiating.

Mrs. Martin died Tuesday, September 28 at Overton County Nursing Home. She was a grocery store and drug store sales person and a member of Netherland Church of Christ.

Born January 5, 1912, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Mack and Ruby E. (Donelson) Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kirby Haskell Maynord; a daughter, Anna Ruth Maynord; two sons, Louis Kirby Maynord and Haskell Maynord Jr; four brothers, Cordell Williams, Joe Williams, Fred Williams, and Frank Williams; a sister, Olene Kilmon Smith; and a grandson, David Floyd Reels.

Survivors include four daughters, Mildred Flo Reels, Ruby Gail Livingston, and Reba June Dennis, all of Rickman, and Sharon Lee Qualls of Cookeville; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Zachary Taylor, Phillip Livingston, Josh Ray, Richard Freeman, Keith Taylor, and Chris Roberts.

WILTHA LEE COFFMAN
Funeral services for Mrs. Wiltha Lee Coffman, 67, of Hilham, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, October 15, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Maxwell Chapel cemetery with Bro. Jim Blankenship officiating.

Mrs. Coffman died Tuesday, October 12 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a housewife and a member of Hilham Church of Christ.

Born April 28, 1937, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Occ and Hattie Ann (Haney) Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Randall Glenn Coffman; three brothers, Estel Allen, M.J. Allen, and Leonard Allen; two sisters, Dimple Coffman and Lassie Pryor; and a grandson, Stephen Albert Coffman.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Coffman of Hilham; two sons, Barry Coffman and Larry Coffman and his wife, Sherri, all of Dayton, OH; a daughter, Diane Dale of Hilham; a son-in-law, James Dale of Hilham; two brothers, Bob Allen and Clifton "Doc" Allen, both of Hilham; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Allen, Leon Gillentine, Carson Gillentine, Bud Coffman, Roger Hall, and Gerstel Taylor.

ETHEL JEAN HAMILTON
Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Jean Hamilton, 81, of Celina, were conducted Saturday, October 16, 2004, at Free Hill Church of Christ.

Burial was in Free Hill cemetery with Bro. Lamar Davis officiating.

Mrs. Hamilton died Monday, October 11 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She worked at OshKosh in Celina for many years and retired in 1984. She was a member of Free Hill Church of Christ, Clay County Council of FCE, and Bright Smile.

Born October 22, 1922, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Adline (Hamilton) Garrett.

Survivors include her husband, Owens Hamilton of Celina; a son, Edward Louis Hamilton; and three daughters, Thelma Andrews and Naomi Johnson, both of Nashville, and Mary Bartlett of Celina.

Pallbearers were Robert Al Bailey, Billy Hamilton, Bobby Will, Jerry Bartlett, William Spears, and Danny Williams.

Special care provided by Hall Funeral Home in Celina.

LULA VICTORIA (GEESLING) BENNETT
Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Victoria (Geesling) Bennett, 85, of Hilham, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2004, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.

Burial was in Campground cemetery with Bro. Dewey Glenn Masters officiating.

Mrs. Bennett died Thursday, November 4 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a retired factory worker in the garment industry and a member of Aaron's Chapel Baptist Church.

Born August 3, 1919, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Avo (Johnson) Geesling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bennett; a son, Billy Howard Bennett; a brother, Vester Geesling; and a sister, Vallie Davis.

Survivors include a son, Freddie Bennett of Hilham; a grandchild; two great grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces, and other family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Geesling, Russell Dillon, Larry Geesling, Sam Bennett, Frank Strong, Tony Coffee, Herman Moody, and Mayford Geesling.

MARY FRANCES BREEDING
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Breeding, 80, of Rickman, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Rickman.

Burial was in Zion Hill cemetery with Rev. Comer McGuire officiating.

Mrs. Breeding died Saturday, October 30 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Zion Hill Methodist Church.

Born September 23, 1924, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Dora (Stockton) Harp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Breeding; three brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Breeding and Jeff Breeding and his wife, Kathy, all of Cookeville; two grandchildren, Ross Breeding and Erin Breeding, both of Cookeville; a special niece, Judy Pendergrass; a special sister-in-law, Dorothy Matthews; and a special friend, Delight Cowan.

Pallbearers were Fred Lee Ashburn, Jim Means, Alvin Tyree, Tim Pendergrass, Sam Pendergrass, and T.J. Pendergrass.

MAGGIE ALMA BENSON
Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Alma Benson, 99, of Greenwood, IN, and formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Bilbrey cemetery with Bro. Aron Dillon officiating.

Mrs. Benson died Wednesday, November 17 in Greenwood. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.

Born October 27, 1905, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late John and Adelia Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlin Gaston Benson; three sons, Charles Arnold Benson, Kenneth Leroy Benson, and Edward Deloy Benson; a brother; and two sisters.

Survivors include a son, Harlin McCoy Benson of Indianapolis, IN; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers were James Bilbrey, Kenneth Bilbrey, Lewis Davison, R.D. Stout, Darren Stout, and Wesley Stout.

MICHELLE (COLWELL) BERRYMAN
Funeral services for Mrs. Michelle (Colwell) Berryman, 35, of Alexandria, IN, and formerly of the Vines Ridge Community in Overton County, were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2004, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.

Burial was in Mineral Springs cemetery with Rev. Steve Garrett and Rev. Mike Kirby officiating.

Mrs. Berryman died Thursday, November 18 at her home in Alexandria. She was a homemaker.

Born July 6, 1969, in Monterey, she was the daughter of Terry and Carolyn (Garrett) Colwell of the Vines Ridge Community.

Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Eric Berryman of Alexandria; a daughter, Chasity Berryman of Alexandria; and two sisters, Melissa Ledbetter and Misty Colwell, both of the Vines Ridge Community.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Chasity Berryman Fund at Huntington National Bank, 101 South Harrison Street, Alexandria, IN 46001.

THELMA DEAN BOLES
Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Dean Boles, 67, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Eugene McCowan and Rev. Darrek Copeland officiating.

Mrs. Boles died Friday, November 19 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a school custodian and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church.

Born October 12, 1937, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Osco and Lena (Turner) Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William "Buck" McCormick and William Ward Walker.

Survivors include her husband, Kirby Boles of Livingston; a son, Steve Boles of Dallas, GA; two daughters, Karen Gail Murphy and her husband, Richard, of Livingston, and Vickie Hudelston and her husband, Foress, of Cookeville; six sisters, Lucille Linder, Betty J. Hensley, and Wilma York, all of Livingston, Nell Parker of Chattanooga, Billie Smith of Alpine, and Barbara Walker of Byrdstown; and three grandchildren, Darren Murphy, Katie Beth Murphy, and Kim Boles.

Pallbearers were Doug Cooper, Gary Cooper, David Cooper, Keith Linder, Jimmy Shoemake, and Shane Shoemake.

SAVAGE BOLES JR.
Funeral services for Mr. Savage Boles Jr., 81, of Wilder, were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2004, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.

Burial, with full military honors by the Veterans Honor Guard, was in Honey Springs cemetery with Rev. David Harris officiating.

Mr. Boles died Wednesday, November 17 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a retired coal miner and an Army veteran of World War II, at which time he saw action in North Africa, Italy, Germany, France, and Austria.

Born September 3, 1923, in Fentress County, he was the son of the late Savage and Nicie Katherine (Smith) Boles.

Survivors include his wife, Carlene (Lewis) Boles of Wilder; a son, Tommy Boles of Clarkrange; a daughter, Carolyn Looper and her husband, Stanley, of the Love Joy Community; three sisters, Ruby Malicote of LaFollette, Lecta Stephens of Dayton, OH, and Sue Bowden of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Jason Looper, Corey Looper, Jessica Phillips, and Laura Beth Boles; and three great grandchildren, Heather, Alaz, and Hunter.

TALMADGE RAY "PUD" CARR
Memorial services for Mr. Talmadge Ray "Pud" Carr, 90, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Burial was in Good Hope cemetery with Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating.

Mr. Carr died Wednesday, November 17 at his home. He was a retired plumber and electrician with Speck Brothers Hardware, a member of the Church of Christ, and a veteran of the United States Army during World War II.

Born August 30, 1914, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Millard and Emma (Gentry) Carr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ora (Thrasher) Carr; five brothers, Haskel Carr, Albert Carr, Fowler Carr, Kenneth Carr, and Howard Carr; and three sisters, Nannie Mae Qualls, Dessie Langford, and Carrie Hicks.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel (Keen) Carr of Livingston; a son, Jerry Carr of Livingston; a daughter, Donna Young and her husband, David, of Crossville; three step-daughters, Rose Key and Zelma Ferrell, both of Hilham, and Barbara Stevens of Brentwood; a half-brother, George Carr of Crossville; four grandchildren, Sara Young, Jade Young, Wesley Carr, and Whitney Carr; several step-great grandchildren; several step-great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were David Green, Tommy Carr, Donald Carr, Earl Qualls, James Bilbrey, and Raymond Bilbrey.
