Mr. Ernest Douglas Holman, Jr., 50, of Florence, AL, died Friday, September 10.
Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
Born August 25, 1954, in California, he was the son of Mary Alice (Copeland) Holman and the late Ernest Douglas Holman Sr.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a sister, Diane Graf of Colorado Springs, CO; a niece; and two nephews.

CECIL C. OGLETREE
Funeral services for Mr. Cecil C. Ogletree, 76, of Algood and formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Holly Springs cemetery with Bro. Marlon Winningham and Bro. Bobby Gore officiating.
Mr. Ogletree died Tuesday, September 14 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Retired from the City of Cookeville Street Maintenance Department, he was a member of the Church of Christ and a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Born August 20, 1928, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Ben and Beulah (Hawkins) Ogletree. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Ogletree and Ilene Ogletree.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Ogletree of Algood; three sisters, Vonda Roberts, Elise Ogletree, and Irene Gilpatrick, all of Livingston; and several nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers were Mark Tayse, Ron Taylor, Dave McConnell, Arnold Bowman, Johnny Phy, and Tommy Winningham.

ELDRITH (CARWILE) PARSONS
Funeral services for Mrs. Eldrith (Carwile) Parsons, 77, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Livingston.
Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Donald Cobb officiating.
Mrs. Parsons died Wednesday, September 15 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She owned and operated Brown's Flower Shop for many years and was a member of Livingston First Baptist Church.
Born March 5, 1927, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Oscar and Magnolia (Farmer) Carwile.
Survivors include her husband, Clay Parsons of Livingston; two sons, Sonny Parsons and his wife, Debra, and David Parsons and his wife, Lesa, all of Livingston; four brothers, Eldon Carwile of Franklin and Ethan Carwile, Eric Carwile, and Earl Carwile, all of Livingston; four sisters, Ethna Brown of Cookeville, Edwina Winningham of Livingston, Elna Wilson of Huntington, WV, and Estelene Morgan of Hilham; five grandchildren, Shannon DePry of Las Vegas, NV, Casey Parsons of Johnson City, Rebekah Sims of Monroe, and Curtis Parsons and Stuart Parsons, both of Livingston; and five great grandchildren, Connor DePry and Vayda DePry of Las Vegas, Lily Parsons of Johnson City, and Madisyn Sims and Makynlee Sims, both of Monroe.
Pallbearers were Larry Winningham, Lindon Carwile, Jacob Carwile, Charles Sims, Jim Morgan, Jeff Morgan, Casey Parsons, and Mark Carwile.

BETSY (UPCHURCH) STEPHENS
Joint funeral services for Mrs. Betsy (Upchurch) Stephens, 44, of Livingston, and her mother, Liz Upchurch, were conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Livingston.
Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clarence Stewart, Rev. Donald Cobb, and Rev. Mark Owens officiating.
Mrs. Stephens, along with her mother, died Sunday, September 12 at Carthage General Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A homemaker, she was a member of First Baptist Church and active in the Young Life program. She had a passion for Bible Study and organized several women's Bible Study groups. She was also active in First Baptist Church's youth program, the Emmaus of the Cumberlands program, and Habitat for Humanity.
Born June 16, 1960, in Putnam County, she was also the daughter of Eddie Ray Upchurch of Livingston.
Survivors, in addition to her father, include her husband, Tom Stephens of Livingston; three daughters, Tatum Stephens, Ferran Stephens, and Mallie Stephens, all of Livingston; a brother, Mark Upchurch of Wilmington, DE; and her grandmother, Christine Upchurch of Livingston.
Pallbearers were John Michael Stephens, Ed Stephens, Mike Stephens, Marty Maynord, Allen Baltimore, Roger Brady, and Wesley Puckett.

ELIZABETH "LIZ" UPCHURCH
Joint funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth "Liz" Upchurch, 65, of Livingston, and her daughter, Betsy Stephens, were conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Livingston.

Mrs. Upchurch, along with her daughter, died Sunday, September 12 at Carthage General Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A retired bookkeeper and payroll clerk for Overton County Board of Education, she was a member and active in First Baptist Church of Livingston, and was active in WMU.
Born August 19, 1939, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Noah and Idella (Glasscock) Maynord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Hack Maynord, Varnie Maynord, Hoy Maynord, and Ken Maynord; and a sister, Velia Oakley.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Upchurch of Livingston; a son, Mark Upchurch of Wilmington, DE; three sisters, Vella Ledbetter of Livingston, Ruth Wright of Nashville, and Marge Naar of Atlanta, GA; and five grandchildren, Tatum Stephens, Ferran Stephens, Mallie Stephens, Christopher Upchurch, and Brianne Upchurch.
Pallbearers were Bill Davis, Larry Mason, Max Crabtree, Charles Kennedy, Ricky McDonald, Doug Maynord, Kelly Coleman, and Mike Ledbetter.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Livia Dale, 95, of Rickman, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dale died Monday, August 16 at Overton County Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ.
Born December 27, 1908, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Bill and Martha (Roberts) Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Dale; three children, Hazel Lapointe, Leo Dale, and Maxine Walker; three brothers, Fred Moore, John Frank Moore, and Herman Moore; and a sister, Olene Boles.
Survivors include two sons, Willie Hugh Dale of Livingston and Leon Dale of Rickman; a daughter, Earlene Ledbetter of Crossville; a sister, Lucille Muehlbauer of Hilham; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda (McLerran) Grace, 52, of Celina, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2004, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Celina.

Mrs. Grace died Friday, August 20 at Cumberland River Hospital in Clay County.
Born December 9, 1951, in Clay County, she was the daughter of Cordell and Winnie (Smith) McLerran of Celina.
Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Donald Grace of Celina; a son, William Nichols and his wife, Lori, of Celina; two daughters, Tina Jolin and her husband, Rodney, of Moss, and Annette Williams and her husband, Jerry, of Chattanooga; step-children, Patricia and Jamie Crawford of Celina, Mark and Carla Grace of Celina, and Donnie and Kim Grace of Moss; three sisters, Joyce Holman and her husband, James, and Peggy Hogan and her husband, Chester, all of Celina, and Barbara Boone and her husband, Delmos Jr. of Lebanon; three brothers, Roy McLerran and his wife, Jonell, of Moss, Harlan McLerran and his wife, Joy, of Red Boiling Springs, and Kenneth McLerran and his wife, Mary, of Celina; four grandchildren, Tyler Nichols, Taylor Nichols, Jacqulyn Jolin, and Joseph Jolin; and eight step-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Flossie (Allred) Robbins, 61, of Alpine, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.

Mrs. Robbins died Wednesday, Aug. 6 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a factory worker in the automotive industry and a member of Miller's Chapel Christian Church.
Born February 15, 1942, in Fentress County, she was the daughter of the late Ophelus and Edith (McDonald) Allred. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hardy Allred and Lonnie Allred.
Survivors include her husband, Edgar Robbins of Alpine; three daughters, Carin Garrett and husband, Richard, of Alpine; and Sharon Regets and husband, Bill, and Shelia Clore and husband, Donnie, all of Warren, MI; a son, Bryan Robbins and wife, Tammy, of Alpine; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two nieces and a nephew.

ARON RUDOTH "RUDY" VAUGHN
Funeral services for Mr. Aron Rudoth "Rudy" Vaughn, 68, of Cookeville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home of Cookeville.
Burial was in Highland cemetery with Rev. Bill Ledbetter and Rev. Lyle Ledbetter officiating.
Mr. Vaughn died Saturday, Aug. 9 at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga. He was employed with Jefferson Smurfit Corporation in Anderson, IN. He was a member of Mt. Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Anderson and locally attended Knights Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
Born April 27, 1935, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Ben and Tilda (Phillips) Vaughn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Benjamin Vaughn and Joe Vaughn; and a sister, Martha (Vaughn) Hargis.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Leola (Phillips) Vaughn of Cookeville; a daughter, Brenda Thomas and husband, Dwight, of Cookeville; two sons, Larry Dwayne Vaughn of Hermitage and Douglas Allen Vaughn of Cookeville; a foster daughter, Rhonda Pierce of Anderson; two brothers, Oren Vaughn of Highland Community, and Kenneth Vaughn and wife, Ann, of Allons; two sisters, Elogene Dixon and husband, Homer, of Knoxville, and Ilene Phillips of Cookeville; and grandchildren, Brad and Heather Thomas, Amy and Jamie Ellis, Trisha Vaughn, Heather and Haley Bloyd, and Brianna Vaughn.

KENNETH WILSON
Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Wilson, 45, of Monterey, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2003, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.

Mr. Wilson died Thursday, Aug. 7 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a general laborer and attended Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Born May 30, 1958, in Overton County, he was the son of Ruth (Phillips) Wilson and the late Clayton Wilson.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include four sisters, Georgia Savage of Livingston, and Helen Harris, Joyce Phillips, and Barbara Whittaker, all of Monterey; two brothers, Richard Wilson and Johnny Wilson, both of Montery; 10 neices and nephews; and 14 great neices and nephews.

ORA ALYNE REEDY
Funeral services for Mrs. Ora Alyne Reedy, 83, of Indianapolis, IN, and formerly of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Nelson cemetery with Rev. Tony Slutz officiating. Mrs. Reedy died Sunday, July 27 at her son's home. She was a housewife and a member of Garfield Park Church of God.
Born January 13, 1920, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late James and Reddie (Brown) Nelson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Dennis Reedy and Bill Abbott.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Abbott and wife, Rita, and Richard Abbott, all of Indianapolis; a sister, Lorene Dailey of Tipton, IN; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Mark Abbott, Matt Abbott, Jim Dailey, Donnie Nelson, Melvin Nelson, and Randel Nelson.
