LESTER B. COFFMAN
Funeral services for Rev. Lester B. Coffman, 86, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2004, from the chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Homes.
Burial was in New Hope Community Church cemetery in Overton County with Rev. Howard Dailey and Rev. H.S. Brown officiating.
Rev. Coffman died Friday, March 26 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a retired hammerman with Huron Forge Machine Shop. He was a Freewill Baptist minister for more than 50 years, served the Seventh Street Freewill Baptist Church in Ecorse, MI, for more than 29 years, served as radio evangelist in Ypsilanti, MI, for a number of years, and for the past 20 years his Sunnyside of Life Gospel Radio Program was on WLIV Radio in Livingston.
Born February 17, 1918, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Willie Andrew and Ollie (Gaw) Coffman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Zelma Loftis; and four brothers, Otis Coffman, Aldon Coffman, Bill Coffman, and Robert Timothy Coffman.
Survivors include his wife of more than 64 years, Ruby (Johnson) Coffman; a son, Kenneth Coffman and his wife, Gladys; three daughters, Geneva Coffman, Thelma Dailey and her husband, Rev. Howard, and Annette Cassatt and her husband, Bob, all of Cookeville; a sister, Velma Smith of Hilham; three brothers, Jesse "Red" Coffman of Westland, MI, and Donald Coffman and Paul Coffman, both of Hilham; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Rev. Coffman's family and friends served as pallbearers.

WILLIE ETHEL CRABTREE
Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Ethel Crabtree, 87, of Sparta, were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2004, from the chapel of Hunter Funeral Home in Sparta.
Burial was in Okolona cemetery with Nicholaus Holman officiating.
Mrs. Crabtree died Saturday, May 8 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker.
Born November 24, 1916, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Mary Erness (Bilbrey) McCulley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Crabtree; a brother, Herman Lester McCulley; and a sister, Mary Lou Ledbetter.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Qualls and his wife, Dora, and Thomas Qualls and his wife, Wanda, all of Sparta; a daughter, Linda Jane Steward of Sparta; a sister, Lillie Parragin of Springfield; five grandchildren, Shelia Rhea Cockcroft, Kimberly Dawn Bodner, Ramoia Hunter, Tonia Holman, and DeWayne Steward; and six great grandchildren.

Harold "Rudy" Flowers
Funeral services for Mr. Harold "Rudy" Flowers, 58, of Monroe, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2004, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.
Burial was in Antioch cemetery with Bro. Sam Dick officiating.
Mr. Flowers died Monday, May 3 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. He was employed at Dacco in Cookeville and was a member of Antioch Church of Christ.
Born November 19, 1945, in Akron, OH, he was the son of the late Herman and Beulah (Huffer) Flowers.
Survivors include his wife, Norma (Holman) Flowers of Monroe; a daughter, Tammy Sells and her husband, Mark, of Monroe; five sisters, Edress Belvin of Atwater, OH, Edith George, Bernice Buterbaugh, and Lucy Kaelin, all of Akron, and Fay Elias of Rickman; two brothers, Roger Flowers of Monroe and Richard Flowers of Livingston; two grandsons, Lucas Sells and Matthew Sells, both of Monroe; and nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Pallbearers were Bobby Mantz, Darryl Mantz, Ty Elias, Chris Elias, Richie Belvin, and Randy Flowers.

ANNA FAYE HALL
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Faye Hall, 61, of Allons, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Fellowship cemetery with Rev. John Albright officiating.
Mrs. Hall died Wednesday, May 5 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She was a retired beautician and a retired quality control worker at KMA. She was a member of Allons Baptist Church and Livingston Eastern Star.
Born July 1, 1942, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Magdalene (Maynord) Zachary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Young; and two brothers, Billy Zachary and James Zachary.
Survivors include her husband, Owen C. Hall of Allons; four sisters, Bernell White of Celina, Carol Gilpatrick and Janice Kirby, both of Allons, and June Ellis of Gainesboro; a brother-in-law, Terry Young of Allons; a sister-in-law, Shirley Zachary of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Mark Cross, Tim Young, Joe Kirby, Chris Kirby, Mark Ledford, Michael Hall, and Johnny White.

WINNIE EVELYN LAYCOCK
Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Evelyn Laycock, 77, of Rickman, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Rickman.
Burial was in Netherland cemetery with Bro. Willard Brown and Bro. Mark Loftis officiating.
Mrs. Laycock died Tuesday, May 4 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a supervisor at a garment factory and a member of Netherland Church of Christ.
Born September 14, 1926, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Daisy (Brown) Dodson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Perry Laycock; and two brothers, Glenn Dodson and Merlin Dodson.
Survivors include a brother, Ensley Dodson of Livingston; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Pallbearers were Bob Roberson, Gerald Woolbright, Calvin Bilbrey, Darrell Halloway, Michael Johnston, and Touch Lamb.

MILLIE L. PHILLIPS
Funeral services for Mrs. Millie L. Phillips, 92, of Oneida, were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2004, from the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.
Burial was in Lay Cross cemetery with Rev. Gilbert Phillips and Rev. Wayne King officiating. Singing was by the Forrest Adkins Singers.
Mrs. Phillips died Thursday, May 6 at Scott County Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Oneida.
Born April 18, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Harrison Benjamin and Edna (Patterson) Stover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Stover; and two sisters, Nell Dean and Olene Garrett.
Survivors include her loving husband, Rev. Gilbert Phillips; sisters and brothers, Gerlene Winningham and her husband, Milford, of Monroe, Alfred Stover and his wife, Linda, of Gastonia, NC, Irene Looper of Bradford, OH, Jerry Stover and his wife, Charlotte, of Pall Mall, and Johnny Stover of Livingston; a special niece, Shirley Bean; and many nieces and other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

BEULA (REED) THOMAS
Funeral services for Mrs. Beula (Reed) Thomas, 89, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 2, 2004, at Livingston Church of Christ.
Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Chris Coil and Bro. Kenneth Thomas officiating.
Mrs. Thomas died Thursday, April 29 at Livingston Regional Hosptial. She was a homemaker and a member of Livingston Church of Christ.
Born August 12, 1914, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late R.D. and Lucy (Hite) Lee Little Reed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Alma D. Reed, and a brother, Lavon Reed.
Survivors include her husband, Richard A. Thomas Jr. of Livingston; two sons, Kenneth Thomas and his wife, Judy, of Murfreesboro and Richard Reed Thomas and his wife, Tricia, of Lebanon; three daughters, Susan Sain and her husband, Richard, of Bransford, FL, Cindy Albritton and her husband, Larry of Evansville, IN, and Martha Kay Thomas of Livingston; two sisters, Edna (Reed) Webb and Nancy (Reed) Brown, both of Livingston; 15 grandchildren, Alan Thomas, John Thomas, Timothy Thomas, Chris Thomas, Ronnie Sain, Trenton Sain, Thomas Sain, Lauren Sain, Amanda (Sain) Horn, Laura Beth (Thomas) High, Kathryn Dee (Thomas) Phillips, Phillip Albritton, David Albritton, Cammie Albritton, and Erica Albritton; 4 great grandchildren, Andrew Thomas, Adam Thomas, Tyler Thomas, and Autumn Thomas; a special friend, Dean Ledbetter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

MARY KATHRYN (TALLEY) WILSON
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Kathryn (Talley) Wilson, 68, of Norcross, GA, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2004, from the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA, with Rev. Mike Underwood officiating.
Private burial services for the family were held in Arlington National cemetery in Arlington, VA.
Mrs. Wilson died Thursday, May 6 at Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville, GA. She was baptized by Reverend Mike Underwood from Chestnut Drive Church of Christ. She was employed by the United States for many years and then started a real estate business.
Born February 7, 1936, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Gaskell and Lucille (Fleming) Talley.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Robert T. Wilson of Norcross; three daughters, Lisa Moore of Canton, GA, and Carol Wilson and Susan Curtis, both of Allons; a sister, Virginia Long of Rockford, MI; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two nieces; and two nephews.

ELEASE BEATY
Funeral services for Mrs. Elease Beaty, 63, of Monterey, were conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.
Burial was in Wilson cemetery with Rev. Delmer McCowan officiating.
Mrs. Beaty died Monday, July 12 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a factory worker.
Born October 20, 1940, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Cliva (McCowan) Phipps. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Beaty; three brothers, Charles Phipps, Donnie Phipps, and Vernon Phipps; and a grandson, Matthew Rodgers.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Phillips of Cookeville; two sons, Tim Swallows of Cookeville and Steve Briley of Muddy Pond; three sisters, Vida Clark, Diane Phillips, and Sharon Miller, all of Monterey; and four grandchildren.

REV. BILLY JOE ENGLAND
Funeral services for Rev. Billy Joe England, 56, of Crossville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2004, from Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church.
Burial was in Mineral Springs cemetery with Rev. Troy England, Bro. Mike Kirby, Rev. Aron Dillon, and Rev. Johnny Bertram officiating.
Rev. England died Thursday, July 8 at his home. He was a Freewill Baptist minister for more than 30 years having travelled as an evangelist in Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee. A member of Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church in Fentress County, he was employed as a construction worker, a truck driver, and recently with Tubular Products in Livingston.
Born January 9, 1948, in Fentress County, he was the son of the late Rev. Olmus and Flossie Mae (Miller) England. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Shane England; a sister, Mary Jane England; a sister-in-law, Marie Raver; a brother-in-law, Junior Denny; and a grandson, Brandon Noel England.
Survivors include his wife, Betty (Brown) England of Crossville; five sons, Kemmy Joe England and Jamie Noel England, both of Crossville, Clayton Jimmy England and Richard Paul England, both of Indianapolis, IN, and Troy Dewayne England of Crawford; a brother, Doyle England of Clarkrange; two sisters, Judy Conley and Oma Lee Denny, both of Monterey; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Virgle and Hessie Brown of Greenfield, IN; and 15 grandchildren.

LYNN KAREN HUNTER
Funeral services for Ms. Lynn Karen Hunter, 46, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at First United Methodist Church in Livingston.
Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tom Halliburton and Rev. Craig Green officiating.
Ms. Hunter died Sunday, June 27 at her home. She was an LPN, employed with Dr. Richard Hall, and a member of First United Methodist Church in Livingston.
Born September 27, 1957, in Hamilton County, she was the daughter of Montyne Wallace of Lafayette, GA, and Shelby and Mary Mayes of Rossville, GA. She was preceded in death by a son, Christian Colby Hunter; and her son Dakota's father, Tim Hunter.
Survivors, in addition to her parents and her son, Dakota Hunter of Livingston, include two sisters, Thyllis Jones of Ringgold, GA, and Elizabeth Guy of St. Charles, MO; two nephews, Jonathan Jones and Nathan Guy; and a niece, Jessica Jones.
