Danny Maynord in 1992 and together they enjoyed 12 years of outdoor activities centered on the beautiful lakes and mountains of Tennessee. She cherished a very loving relationship with Danny's three grown children and quickly became adored as "Granny Carolyn" by their five grandchildren.
Carolyn touched the lives and will be remembered by so many. She truly loved her family and friends, even in the heat of battle of a good card game. Carolyn loved everything about being outdoors, unless there was a good football game on. She could never get enough of working in her flowers and feeding the birds or improving her golf score. She challenged her daughters to pursue their dreams, live life to its fullest and demonstrated the meaning of unconditional love. She wore the title of Granny with pride and cherished every minute with all her grandchildren.
She will be missed dearly.
