CARL LEDFORD
Funeral services for Mr. Carl Ledford, 85, of Russellville, KY, were conducted Wednesday, March 10, 2004, from the chapel of Young Funeral Home in Russellville.
Burial was in Sulphur Springs cemetery with Rev. Randy Richardson officiating.
Mr. Ledford died Monday, March 8 at his home. He was a farmer and was of the Presbyterian faith.
Born March 28, 1918, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Fletcher B. and Annie (Crabtree) Ledford. Survivors include his wife, Della Mae Ledford; two daughters, Helen Joyce Looper of Monterey and Wanda Hale of Beaver Dam, KY; a sister, Mamie Hunter of Sarasota, FL; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wayne Overholt, Robert Stuart, Frank Orndorff Jr., Steve Hindman, Charles Delaney, and Joe Fuest.

DONNIE SMITH
Funeral services for Mr. Donnie Smith, 51, of Monterey, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2004, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.
Burial was in Phillips cemetery with Rev. Kenny Smith, Rev. Kevin Smith, and Rev. Willie Anderson officiating.
Mr. Smith died Saturday, March 27 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a member of Crossroads Freewill Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
Born February 21, 1953, in Tennessee, he was the son of Bertie (Harris) Davidson of Livingston and the late Bill Smith.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife of 32 years, Nora (Anderson) Smith of Monterey; two sons, Rev. Kenny Smith and his wife, Leanne, and Rev. Kevin Smith and his wife, Karen, all of Monterey; a brother, Ronnie Smith and his wife, Kathy, of Crossville; his step-father, Lewis Davidson of Livingston; his grandmother, Bell Harris of Monterey; and five grandchildren, Chase, Shelby, Kenlee, Carson, and Denver.

DAVE STOVER
Funeral services for Mr. Dave Stover, 87, of Allons, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Larry Thomas officiating.
Mr. Stover died Wednesday, March 24 at his home. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for W&O Construction, a member of Allons Baptist Church, and a United States Army veteran of World War II.
Born March 9, 1917, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Winfield and Laura (Ledbetter) Stover. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randall David Stover; four sisters, Dorothy Richardson, Dolcie Wyatt, Stella Collins, and Della Coleman; and eight brothers, Carnis Stover, George Stover, E.T. Stover, Cecil Stover, Eulis Stover, and three infant brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Curl (Hammock) Stover of Allons; a son, Rick Stover and his wife, Cathy, of Allons; a daughter, Sue Maynord and her husband, Dwain, of Livingston; seven step-children, Edd Hammock, Dee Hammock, and Betty Hill, all of Allons, Junior Hammock of Monroe, and Joanne Garrett, Eunita Carr, and Linda Hogue, all of Livingston; 3 grandchildren, Roger Hogue, Shane Hogue, and Valerie Maynord; 20 step-grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and 34 step-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Roger Hogue, Shane Hogue, Grant Hogue, Richard Sebers, Toby Hammock, and Scott Hammock.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were the Allons Baptist Church Pairs & Spares Sunday School Class, Mr. Stover's nephews, his step-grandchildren, Charles Sebers, and Roy Lee Sebers.

GEORGE J. PHILLIPS
Memorial services for Mr. George J. Phillips, 79, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2003, at Holly Springs Church of Christ.
Mr. Phillips died Saturday, October 4 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was retired from the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II.
Born December 11, 1923, in Lake City, FL, he was the son of the late Randolph and Mabel (Arnold) Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Carolyn Phillips of Livingston; two daughters, Cindy Johns of Livingston and Karren Phillips of Huntsville, AL; three sons, George Phillips Jr. of LaQuinta, CA, Dennis Phillips of Cavanua, WI, and Stanley Johns of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family chose cremation.

PHILIP ROLAND RODGERS
Funeral services for Mr. Philip Roland Rodgers, 62, of Cookeville were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2003, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home in Cookeville.
Burial, with full military honors, was in West cemetery in the Fairview Community in Putnam County, with ministers Charlie Hutchinson and Harlon Johnson officiating.
Mr. Rodgers died Saturday, October 25 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He attended First Baptist Church in Cookeville and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Stone Mountain, GA.
After 23 years, Mr. Rodgers retired as a purchasing agent. He was also a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Army with over 20 years in the service, 7 of which he served overseas. He was a Vietnam veteran. He completed basic training at Fort Jackson in South Carolina. During his service, he served at the following duty stations: Fort Holabird, MD; Fort Belvoir, VA; Fort Meade, MA; Camp Carroll, South Korea; and Tehran, Iran.
He was an ROTC instructor at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville and University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, Fort McPherson, GA, Southern Command, and Panama Canal Zone.
Mr. Rodgers received the following commendations: Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal with 2nd Leaf Cluster, Overseas Service Bar, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal (6th award), Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry.
Mr. Rodgers recently received the Cross of Military Service from the United Daughters of the Confederacy for his service in South Vietnam. He was a member of the Dillard-Judd 1828 SCV Camp.
Born October 26, 1940, in Tallapoosa County, AL, he was the son of Mary (Wall) Ballog of New Port Richey, FL, and the late Roland Charles Rodgers. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, June (Rodgers) Bez; a nephew, Alan Bollog; and an uncle, James Wall.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife of 31 years, Shirley (Maberry) Rodgers, whom he married
on August 24, 1972, in Cookeville; a step-father, Don James Ballog of New Port Richey, FL; two sons, Philip Roland Rogers Jr. and his wife, Elisa, of Hiram, GA, and Steven Andrew Rodgers and his wife, Erin, of East Point, GA; a daughter, Christal Ann (Rodgers) Hall and her husband, Michael, of Ellenwood, GA; two grandchildren, Allison Christine Riggle and Brandon Scott Riggle, both of Ellenwood; four nieces, Celeste Alm, Michele Barrett, Kathy Bohan, and Lisa Lowry, all of West Palm Beach, FL; a nephew, Michael Payne of West Palm Beach; and an aunt, Eloise Lowry of West Palm Beach.
Members of the Tennessee Tech ROTC served as pallbearers.

JAMES SISCO
Funeral services for Mr. James Sisco, 64, of Hanging Limb, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2003, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.
Burial was in Phillips cemetery with Rev. Billy Hedgecough, Rev. David Phillips, and Rev. Eugene McCowan officiating.
Mr. Sisco died Wednesday, October 22 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Born August 22, 1939, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Eskew and Clara Sisco. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Sisco; and a sister, Ruth Codwell.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Sisco of Cookeville; a son, Lynn Sisco of Hanging Limb; a sister, Mary Ellen Robbins of Algood; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

HARVEY "BILL" WHITE

Mr. White died Thursday, October 23 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born June 23, 1928, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Caleb and Tina (Marrow) White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Clifton Harvey White; and a sister, Bernice Murphy.

Lisa Michelle (Smith) Davidson
Funeral services for Mrs. Lisa Michelle (Smith) Davidson, 30, of Byrdstown, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, from the chapel of Brown Funeral Home in Byrdstown. Burial was in Wirmingham cemetery with Bro. Jeff Brown and Bro. Donald Bowman officiating.
Mrs. Davidson died Friday, Feb. 7 at Byrdstown Medical Center. She was employed with the Hutchinson plant in Livingston and a member of Etter Baptist Church in Byrdstown.
Born February 26, 1972, in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Linda (Key) Smith Neal of Celina and Hershel Smith of Monroe.

Wanda Jeanette Davis
Eastern Star services for Mrs. Wanda Jeanette Davis, 68, of Ten Mile, and formerly of Overton County, were held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery with Rev. Newsome Harvey officiating.
Mrs. Davis died Thursday, Feb. 6 at Roane Medical Center. She was a school teacher and a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Paintrock Eastern Star Chapter 454.
Born November 7, 1934, in Overton County, she was the daughter of Havil B. Davis of Sunbright and the late Vonda Jewell (Maynard) Davis.
Survivors, in addition to her father, include a brother, Jerry Kendall Davis of Gainesville, FL; Belinda Sue Ledbetter of Battle Creek, MI; five nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and great nephews.

Willie "Jackie" Fulton
Funeral services for Mr. Willie "Jackie" Fulton, 57, of Byrdstown, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, from the chapel of Crestlawn Funeral Home in Byrdstown. Burial was in Tompkins cemetery with Rick Cross officiating.
Mr. Fulton died Saturday, Feb. 8 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a sawmill worker and a farmer.
Born April 9, 1945, in Pickett County, he was the son of the late Porter and Dorothy (Brown) Fulton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Katie Lowe.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda (Riddle) Fulton of Byrdstown; four children, Jerry Fulton, Peggy Fulton, and Jamie Fulton, all of Byrdstown, and Janet (Fulton) Ray of Antioch; four brothers, Bill Fulton of Marengo, OH, Jimmie Fulton of Dayton, OH, Malcolm Fulton of Beaver Creek, OH, and Jeff Fulton of Byrdstown; six sisters, Sally Griffin of Doyle, Nannie Bolin, Nellie Bolin, and Rita Whited, all of Livingston, Polly Rednour of Dayton, TN, and Betty Seibers of Stanford, KY; and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Hartness died Sunday, Feb. 9 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a homemaker and attended Fairview Church of Christ.
Born May 9, 1924, in Cookeville, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Dona (Warden) Talley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hartness; a sister, Stella Maggie Mayberry; and two brothers, Ellis Talley and Owen Alex Talley.
Survivors include a brother, Arlis Emery Talley of Cookeville; two nieces, Barbara Geesling and Virginia Lynn; and four nephews, Jimmie Talley, Carl Talley, Richard Talley, and David Talley.
