Enloe Hays Hill
Funeral services for Mr. Enloe Hays Hill, 75, of Rickman, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was in St. John cemetery with Rev. Ovle Tinch and Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating.
Mr. Hill died Tuesday, Feb. 4 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a retired factory worker and farmer. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Born January 14, 1928, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Ervin and Dee (Ledbetter) Hill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elise (Thrasher) Hill, two sisters, Deloy Brown and Zola Ferrell; and a nephew, Denver Brown.
Survivors include a brother, Ernest Hill of Livingston; two sisters, Gerene Matthews of Rickman and Margaret Roberson of Algood; a niece, Sandra Reed; two nephews, Bob Matthews and Johnny Roberson; four great nieces and great nephews; and a great-great nephew.
Pallbearers were Robbie Matthews, Terry Hammock, Donnie Howard, Randy Thrasher, Mark Thrasher, and Danny Langford.

MABEL RUTH BILBREY
Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Ruth Bilbrey, 84, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Good Hope cemetery with Rev. Nolen Bronson and Bro. Aron Dillon officiating.
Mrs. Bilbrey died Monday, November 10 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a housewife and a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Born September 19, 1919, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Burr Emberson and Lou Alpha (Lewis) Ledbetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Dennis Bilbrey; a grandson, Andrew J. Bilbrey; a sister, Mertie Brown; and three brothers, Lester Ledbetter, Lloyd Ledbetter, and Carl Ledbetter.
Survivors include her husband, Frank W. Bilbrey of Livingston; a son, Carl Bilbrey and his wife, Reda, of Livingston; a brother, Robert Ledbetter and his wife, Edith, of Jackson; a sister, Annie (Ledbetter) Taylor of Livingston; a granddaughter, Jammie Gibbons and her husband, Brett, of Livingston; two step-grandsons, Terry D. Allen and his wife, Carol Ann, of Cookeville, and Danny Allen and his wife, Sharon, of Livingston; two great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; and a step-great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers were Terry Allen, Danny Allen, McCoy Ledbetter, Steve Ledbetter, Brett Gibbons, and Bub Stockton.

JAMES CLYDE "COTTON" BILBREY
Funeral services for Mr. James Clyde "Cotton" Bilbrey, 89, a resident of Masters Health Care Center and formerly of Pickett County, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, from the chapel of Crestlawn Funeral Home in Byrdstown. Burial was in Smyrna cemetery with Glen Ledbetter officiating.
Mr. Bilbrey died Friday, Jan. 24. He was a teacher in the educational system and a member of Star Point Church of Christ.
Born March 17, 1913, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Edward Lee and Eulah (Taylor) Bilbrey.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Elaine Jamison and Norma Belle Brooks, both of Prather, CA, and Nancy Marie Hurbace of Leander, TX; a sister, Ethel Rains of Jamestown; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 6 great-great grandchildren.

TREVA CRABTREE
Funeral services for Mrs. Treva Crabtree, 83, of Battle Creek, MI, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2003, from the chapel of Richard A. Henry Funeral Home. Burial was in Memorial Park cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Gray officiating.
Mrs. Crabtree died Thursday, March 6 at Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. She was employed with the Battle Creek Sanitarium and retired from Leila Hospital. She received much satisfaction from her volunteer work at Lakeview General and Leila Hospital. She worshipped at North Avenue Church of God and Andrus Street Church of God. She centered her life on Jesus and was strong in her faith. Her great joy was her grandchildren, and she was proud of their growth and accomplishments.
Born April 6, 1919, in Allred, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lizzie (Vaughn) Copeland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Austin McCoy "CoyÓ Crabtree; two brothers, James Ridley Copeland and Junior Copeland; and two sisters, Avo Norris and Lydia Hammock.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack H. and Georgia Crabtree; a brother, Howard Copeland; a sister, Orene Ledbetter of Livingston; five grandchildren, Sean Crabtree and wife Beth, Blair Crabtree, Jess Conrad, Joy Conrad, and Jill Conrad; two great grandchildren, Montana Conrad and Seth Crabtree; five nieces, Bea Hargis, Louise Long and husband Harry, Anne Shaffer and husband Clark, Marva Chambers, and Sandy Ely; a nephew, Mickey Ledbetter of Livingston; and a special friend, Suzanne Beckett.

CONNIE BILLINGS
Graveside services for Mrs. Consawillo "Connie" (Gore) Billings, 77, of Dublin, GA, and formerly of Cookeville, were conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2003, at Crest Lawn Memorial cemetery with Dr. Farris W. Cox officiating.
Mrs. Billings died Tuesday, April 15, at her home. She was one of the first employees of the American Cancer Society-Dublin Chapter. She served as a missionary in the Republic of South Africa for two years. She was also a member of World Harvest Church in Dublin and a volunteer for Harvest Christian Academy. She was a former resident of Johnson City, Tulsa, OK, Detroit, MI, Johannesburg, South Africa, and Statesboro, GA.
Born March 9, 1926, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Cubert and Verda (Ledbetter) Gore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kelso Billings.
Survivors include a daughter, Nita Lloyd and husband Rodney of Dublin; a son, Dr. Charles K. Billings Jr. and wife, Kathy, of New Orleans, LA; a brother, Olon Wyant Gore of Chattanooga; a sister, Juanita Angie Phillips of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Dr. Julian and Dr. Amy Billings of Birmingham, AL, Minda and Paul Nichols of Dublin, Michael and Nicole Lloyd of Detroit, Curtis Gore Billings of New York City, NY, Benjamin McGehee Billings of Austin, TX; and two great grandchildren, Grant Billings and Jackson Billings. Mrs. Carpenter died Wednesday, June 18 at White County Hospital in Sparta.
Born September 29, 1938, in Overton County, she was the daughter of Martha (Vaughn) Taylor, of Rickman, and the late Thomas Vaughn. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her step-father, James Taylor; and a daughter, Barbara Ann Presley.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hoyett Gertrude (Garrett) Coffee, 89, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Marlon Winningham and Bro. Jeremy Byrd officiating.
Mrs. Coffee died Wednesday, June 18 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville. She was a member of First Christian Church in Monroe.
Born May 17, 1914, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Joel Sparks and Nancey Evelyn (Whited) Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Ward Coffee; a sister, Martha Judd; three brothers, Hardey Garrett, Harold Garrett, and Alvin Garrett; and a grandson, Allen Ward Peace.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancey Peace and husband, Dr. Rural Peace, of Cookeville; a grandchild, Dr. Christie Shattuck, and husband, Dr. Deavor Shattuck, of Knoxville; and four great grandchildren, Alan Shattuck, Raney Shattuck, Reed Shattuck, and Kylie Shattuck.

REBA ANGA CALLAHAN
Graveside services for Mrs. Reba Anga Callahan, 92, of Monroe, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, August 13, 2004, at Garrett cemetery at Worley Loop with Bro. Winningham Van Koughnett officiating.
Mrs. Callahan died Wednesday, August 11 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker and enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, crocheting, knitting, needlework, and quilting. She made many quilts and was generous in giving them as gifts. She was also known in the family for her delicious pound cake.
Born June 21, 1912, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late William Hardy and Calla (Winningham) Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Callahan; and a brother, William Garrett.
Survivors include a daughter, Billie Reed of Bradenton, FL; three sisters, Ruby Daniels of Livingston, Marie McDonald of Mt. Clemons, MI, and Charlsie Van Koughnett of Monroe; a grandson, Thomas Reed of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Shirley Ray Jones, 61, of Monterey, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2004, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey.
Burial was in Hanging Limb cemetery with Rev. Harlon Thompson officiating.
Mr. Jones died Saturday, August 14 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was an automotive mechanic.
Born January 4, 1943, in Hanging Limb, he was the son of the late Flem and Mary (Phillips) Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Jones.
Survivors include a daughter, Becky Walker and her husband, David, of Cookeville; his companion, Mary Farley of Monterey; three sisters, Lucille Stephens and Linda Hodge, both of Monterey, and Reba Webber of Wichita Falls, TX; four brothers, Frazier Jones, Paul Jones, Carl Jones, and Frank Jones, all of Monterey; and two grandchildren, Lacie and Addison.

Mr. Robert Lewis Mollett, 24, of Rickman, died Sunday, August 8 at his home. He was a factory worker at Berkline, enjoyed 4-wheel drive trucks, and was a bullrider.
Born September 9, 1979, in Redding, CA, he was the son of Robert "Bob" Lee Jr. and Janet (Krouse) Mollett of Rickman.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his grandmothers, Janet Mollett of Hilham and Janet Crane of Rickman; a sister, Stacey Mollett of Rickman; and an aunt and uncle, Jim and Kathy Mollett of Hilham.

GLENN D. "DOC" PARSONS
Funeral services for Mr. Glenn D. "Doc" Parsons, 74, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2004, at Beaty Swamp Community Church in Monroe.
Burial was in Sylvester Robbins cemetery with Rev. Bob Stoner officiating. Full military honors were conducted by the Honor Guard of James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 in Livingston.
Mr. Parsons died Thursday, August 12 at his home. He was a truck driver, a member of Beaty Swamp Community Church, and a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Born August 12, 1930, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Andrew and Lillian (Hicks) Parsons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Katrina Potter; and a brother, Everett Parsons.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Parsons of Livingston; three sons, Doug Parsons of Rickman, Mike Parsons of Alpine, and Tony Parsons of Monroe; a daughter, Debbie Boles of Rickman; a step-son, Chris Fletcher of Daytona, FL; two step-daughters, Alice McCraney of Colorado Springs, CO, and April Fletcher of Murfreesboro; three brothers, Pete Parsons of Nashville and Howard Parsons and Andrew "Spud" Parsons, both of Monroe; a sister, Wilma King of Monroe; 19 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchilren.

DONALD DEAN WAY
Funeral services for Mr. Donald Dean Way, 74, of Rickman, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2004, from the chapel of Rickman-Hall Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Arlington of Tennessee cemetery in Putnam County with his sons officiating.
Mr. Way died Thursday, August 11 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a member of the Experimental Air Association.
Born April 14, 1930, in Peoria, IL, he was the son of Idell (Hartman) Way Lawson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Spitler.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Margaret Way; four sons, Richard Way, Jonathan Smith, David Smith, and Stephen Smith; three daughters, Linda Webber, Deborah Haven, and Donna Hoilman; and a sister, Darlene Curtis.
Pallbearers were Greg Booher, Benny Buck, Danny Higdon, Tommy Randolph, Roger Carr, E.B. Gray, Carl Allred, and Johnny Webb.
