Funeral services for Mrs. Opal Joyce Walker, 72, of Birmingham, AL, were conducted at noon Saturday, June 26, 2004, from the chapel of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville, AL.
Burial was in Riverside cemetery in Losantville, IN, with Rev. J. Joel Harris officiating.
Mrs. Walker died Tuesday, June 22 at her home. She was a homemaker.
Born May 1, 1932, in Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Lillie Belle (Bilbrey) Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Walker.
Survivors include a son, Randall Walker of Birmingham; a daughter, Norene Talley of Birmingham; a brother, Howard Bowman of Anderson, IN; four grandchildren; and three sisters, Claradean Chumbler of Muncie, IN, Frances Dew of Nashville, and Jeanette Windle of Livingston.

HALEY B. COFFEE PHILLIPS
Funeral services for Mrs. Haley B. Coffee Phillips, 90, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2003, from the chapel of Rickman-Hall Funeral Home. Burial was in Coffee cemetery in Monroe, with Bro. Howard Dailey officiating.
Mrs. Phillips died Monday, March 3 at Bethesda Health Care in Cookeville. She was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church and a Christian for 72 years.
Born April 15, 1912, in Tompkinsville, KY, she was the daughter of the late Overton and Cora Jane (Cargile) Pryor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Herman Coffee and Benton Phillips; a granddaughter, Lisa Kay Coffee; and a grandson, Christopher Lee Greenwood.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Wayne Padgett of Cookeville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Carver and Wanda Coffee of Oklahoma and Luther and Anna Coffee of Livingston; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. Pallbearers were Steven Judd, Jimmy Cote, Kevin Coffee, Jacob Coffee, Tony Coffee, and Josh Coffee.

Funeral services for Mr. Allen Poston, 35, of Hilham, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, March 10, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was in Okolona cemetery with Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating.
Mr. Poston died Saturday, March 8 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. He was a factory worker, and a member of AllenŐs Chapel Church.
Born May 17, 1967, in Putnam County, he was the son of Johnny Poston of Hilham and the late Virginia (Sells) Poston.
Survivors, in addition to his father, include two sons, Cody Allen Poston and Justin James Poston, both of Rickman; two brothers, Johnny Wayne Poston and Mark Anthony Poston, both of Hilham; and a sister, Carmen Vaughn of Memphis.

HUGH VAYNE ROGERS
Funeral services for Mr. Hugh Vayne Rogers, 79, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was in Walnut Grove cemetery with Bro. Bobby Gore officiating.
Mr. Rogers died Wednesday, March 5 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a farmer, a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ, and a Veteran of the United States Army during WWII.
Born October 30, 1923, in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Dewey and Ruby (Jenkins) Rogers. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Rogers of Livingston; a son daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Linda Rogers of Smithville; a brother, James Rogers of Crossville; and two sisters, Helen Cherry of Donelson and Betty Blair of Carthage.
Pallbearers were M.J. Hammock, Dr. Joseph Sharpe, Billy Joe Gore, Ben Gore, James Lightsey, and Tony Cannon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Walnut Grove cemetery fund.

CARL M. SIMMONS
Funeral services for Mr. Carl M. Simmons, 62, of McMinnville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2003, from the chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home. Burial, with military rites administered by V.F.W. Post 5064 and American Legion Post 173, was in Crain Hill cemetery in Van Buren County with Rev. Orville Simpson, Rev. Jim Mitchell, and Rev. Kenneth Merritt officiating.
Mr. Simmons died Thursday, March 6 at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro. He was a retired highway contract route transporter hauling the U.S. mail, a disabled U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam conflict, and a member of North Hill Drive Church of God of Prophecy.
Born February 10, 1941 in Van Buren County, he was the son of Pauline Simmons of Bone Cave and the late Richard "DickÓ Simmons. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, William H. Simmons; and a grandson, Christopher Allan Simmons Jr.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife of 41 years, Linda Faye Simmons of McMinnville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christ and Leigh Simmons of Bone Cave and Brad and Lindy Simmons of Livingston; and six grandchildren, Nichlas Simmons, Chase Simmons, Ridge Simmons, Ashley Bray, Haley Mullins, and Willard Mullins.

ANDREW MCROBERTS CHILD JR.
Funeral services for Mr. Andrew McRoberts Child Jr., 72, of Livingston, were conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Mr. Child died Tuesday, October 14 at his home. He served in the United States Navy and was retired from U.S. Steel in Gary, IN. He will always be remembered as a wonderful storyteller.
He touched many hearts, young and old, with his stories and poems.
However, he will perhaps be remembered most of all for spending 13 years of holiday seasons at the Cookeville Mall spreading joy and hearing the hopes, dreams, and wishes of many children. He loved nothing more than that and was deeply saddened when his health no longer permitted him to continue.
He never gave up hope that he would be able to return to doing all the things his health did not permit him to do. He can do them for all eternity.
Born June 12, 1931, in Weston, WV, he was the son of the late Andrew and Velma Child.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Dorothy Child; two daughters, Glenda Mueller and Connie Fowler; a son-in-law, William Fowler; two grandsons, Michael Child and Wesley Caldwell; a granddaughter-in-law, Jeanette Caldwell; and two great grandchildren, Emily Caldwell and Bladen Caldwell, all of Livingston.
The family has chosen cremation at the wishes of Mr. Child.

VELMA LEE (STOVER) DANIEL
Funeral services for Mrs. Velma Lee (Stover) Daniel, 87, of Allons, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2003, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.
Burial was in Fellowship cemetery with Bro. Ken Collins, Bro. Billy Curtchall, and Bro. Jerry Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Daniel died Sunday, October 12 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker, factory employee, school cook, and a member of Willow Grove Church of Christ.
Born May 11, 1916, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Etter Jane (Thrasher) Stover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Paul Daniel; three sisters, Bethel Hogan, Ethel Gunnels, and Beatrice Gore; and four brothers, Ray Stover, Robert Stover, Bertie Stover, and James Stover.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Hummel and her husband, Melvin, of Allons; a son, J.T. Daniel and his wife, Nettie, of Allons; four sisters, May Wallace of Sparta, Lennie Riddle and Arvella Thrasher, both of Albany, KY, and Eudean Colson of Livingston; four grandchildren, Tammy Sidwell, Pam Breeding, Jerry Daniel, and Patricia Boles; four great grandchildren, Derek Sidwell, Matthew Sidwell, Brian Breeding, and Kasie Breeding; and a great-great grandchild, Mason Cole Children; and nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Pallbearers were Gary Sidwell, Billy Breeding, Jason Boles, Derek Sidwell, Brian Breeding, and Matthew Sidwell.

Funeral services for Mr. H.C. Langford, 83, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home.
Burial was in Hilham cemetery with Bro. Bobby Gore and Bro. Chris Coil officiating.
Mr. Langford died Friday, October 17 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a retired Overton County School teacher, a member of Livingston Church of Christ, and a veteran of the United States Army.
Born March 13, 1920, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Herman and Ollie (Gore) Langford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carlos Langford, Herbert Langford, and Oather Langford and a sister, Gladys Talley.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mary Etta Langford and Lorene Langford; a sister, Agnes Mansell of Livingston; a niece, Patsy Bowles; and two special friends, Arthur Freed and Iva Lee Cullom.
Pallbearers were Billy Joe Gore, Junior Fleming, Riley Johnson, Dale Mabrey, Dale Flatt, and Delon Robbins.

BONNIE H. BILBREY
Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie H. Bilbrey, 94, of the Newtown Community in McMinnville, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2003, from the chapel of McMinnville Funeral Home. Burial was in Good Hope cemetery in Overton County.
Mrs. Bilbrey died Thursday, March 13 at her daughter's home in Madison. She was a retired school teacher with Warren County School System and attended Forest Park Baptist Church.
Born December 28, 1908, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sophronia (Zachary) Huddleston. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kimoth Howard Bilbrey; and a daughter, Margaret Conner.
Survivors include a daughter, Sophrona Bilbrey of Madison; a son-in-law, Junior Conner of Christiana; grandchildren, David and Linda Conner of Avon, IN, and Kim and Wade Bryant and Dennis and Paula Conner, all of McMinnville; and a great grandson, Jared Conner of Cookeville. Mrs. Burchett died Saturday, March 15 at her home. She was a retired factory worker and a member of Holly Springs Church of Christ.
Born January 30, 1930, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Bennie Clyde and Addie Velma (Staggs) Holman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Chester Burchett; a sister, Louise Smith; and a brother, Bobby Joe Holman.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Frankie Burchett and Billy and Thelma Burchett, all of Livingston; four sisters, Linda Bybee, Jean Norris, Juanita Poston, and Nell Hammock, all of Livingston; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cyphers died Saturday, March 15 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. He was an auto body technician and a member of Free Communion Church of Christ. Born April 24, 1925, in Clay County, he was the son of the late Robert ŇBobÓ and Dessie (Brown) Cyphers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Radford Cyphers and Raymond Cyphers; a sister, Jewel Martin; a nephew, Jamie Cyphers; and a niece, Rita Mathis.

Mrs. Jones died Saturday, March 8 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was a grocery store clerk and of the Baptist faith.
Born November 20, 1979, in Fentress County, she was the daughter of Janet (Walker) Padgett and step-daughter of Larry Padgett, both of Livingston. She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Jewel Walker; a grandfather, John Walker; and a step-grandfather, Victor Padgett.
Survivors, in addition to her mother and step-father, include her husband, James Lynn Jones of Hilham; a son, Quinton Jones of Hilham; her step-grandmother, Pauline Padgett of Monroe; a sister, Ashley Faye Padgett of Livingston; and several friends and other family members.
