WILLIAM BRYAN ROOKER
Funeral services for Mr. William Bryan Rooker, 75, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Gary Ledbetter and Rev. Donald Cobb officiating.
Mr. Rooker died Friday, March 14 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Born January 24, 1928, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Booze and Sophia (Ledbetter) Rooker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Polly Rooker of Livingston; a son, Tommy Rooker of Livingston; two daughters, Gloria Ellefsen of Atlanta, GA, and Peggy Ledbetter of Livingston; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a nephew, Steve Brown of Chicago, IL; and two godchildren, Steven Brown and Stephanie Brown.
Pallbearers were David Ledbetter, Bryan Rooker, Matt Rooker, Ryan Ellefsen, Andy Ellefsen, Christopher Ellefsen, and Kenny Murphy.

SARAH ANN GORE
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Ann Gore, 91, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Mark Loftis officiating.
Mrs. Gore died Friday, June 27 at NHC Healthcare in Cookeville. She worked for Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, MI, and was a member of Netherland Church of Christ.
Born May 25, 1912, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late William Leonard and Modelia (Booher) Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Clyde Gore; four sisters, Auda Mae Carr, Florence Young (infant), Stella Jane Copeland, and Vic L. Ringley; and a brother, James Leonard Young.
Survivors include a daughter, Brenda J. (Gore) Keisling of Cookeville; two grandchildren, Bruce L. Keisling of Memphis and Stacey Arnold of Nashville; and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bob Robinson, Evan Loftis, Jim Baggerly, Calvin Bilbrey, and Larry Winningham.

WILMA (WHITE) HOGUE
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma (White) Hogue, 76, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2003, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gary Taylor and Rev. Jeremy Byrd officiating.
Mrs. Hogue died Monday, June 23 at St. Thomas Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Monroe Christian Church.
Born November 28, 1926, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Ermine and Vella (Garrett) White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Allred; and a brother, Carson White.
Survivors include her husband, Glenard Hogue of Livingston; a son, Gary Allred of Hendersonville; a daughter, Carolyn Curtis of Cookeville; a step-son, Mark Hogue of Livingston; a step-daughter, Marsha Deck of Livingston; two brothers, Eugene White of Hermitage and Kuel White of Livingston; a sister, Olamae Franklin of Connecticut; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Mr. Johnson died Wednesday, June 11 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a roofer and affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Born August 22, 1963, in Overton County, he was the son of Grace (Davis) Johnson and the late Jim Floyd Johnson.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include three brothers, Bobby Joe Johnson, Terry Wayne Johnson, and David Franklin Moore, all of Livingston; several half-sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lancaster died Saturday, June 21 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a factory worker and a member of First Baptist Church in Livingston.
Born April 2, 1917, in Smith County, she was the daughter of the late James and Virginia (Huewitt) Plumlee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Young; a sister; a brother; and a great grandson, Tyler Lancaster.
Survivors include her husband, Dan Lancaster of Livingston; two sons, Robert Lancaster and Charles Lancaster, both of Livingston; a brother, James Lancaster of Texas; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Mrs. Sherrill died Wednesday, June 25 at Overton County Nursing Home. Retired from Overton County Nursing Home, she was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Monroe.
Born October 31, 1911, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Alice (Ferrill) Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wade Sherrill; a daughter, Lillian Colleen Gore; and a son, Larry Arnold Sherrill.
Survivors include a son, James Wade "Bud" Sherrill of Livingston; three daughters, Commell White of Livingston, Elizabeth Ann Scheving of Homossa, FL, and Nelberta Baker of West Chester, OH; 18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Stover died Wednesday, June 25 at Quality Care Health Center in Lebanon. She was a homemaker and a member of Free Communion Church of Christ.
Born March 21, 1918, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Benton and Della (Garrett) Ledbetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Stover; a son, Roy Stover; a sister, Delsie Dial; a brother, James Ledbetter; a granddaughter, Kimberly Stover; and a grandson, Rob Mann.

Mrs. Bowsell died Saturday, October 11 at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center in Monterey. She was a homemaker.
Born May 29, 1919, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Caroline Roebuck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Boswell; a sister, Helen Schoenman; four brothers, John Roebuck, Amos Roebuck, Fred Roebuck, and Walter Roebuck; and a great granddaughter, Melissa Amanda Phillips.

Mr. Garrison died Saturday, October 11 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a self-employed construction worker and was of the Baptist faith.
Born February 6, 1956, in Dayton, OH, he was the son of Betty Jo (Judd) Garrison of Cookeville and the late Bud Garrison. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Johnnie and Martha Garrison; his maternal grandparents, Hensley and Lizzie Judd; and a brother, Michael Garrison.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two brothers, Buddy Garrison and sons, Johnnie Bud and Aaron, and Allen and Thelma Garrison and sons, Kenny and Judd, all of Cookeville.

Mrs. Mansell died Monday, October 6 at her home. She was a seamstress.
Born October 5, 1923, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Lee and Dovie (Denton) Dixon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Riley Mansell; a brother, Thurman Dixon; and a sister, Nola D. Ellis.
Survivors include two sons, John Mansell and Willard Mansell, both of Livingston; three daughters, Rita Snelling of Ft. Wayne, IN, Carolyn Rose of Butler, IN, and Willo Dene Hill of Dallas, TX; two brothers, Homer Dixon of Knoxville and O.L. Dixon of Tipton, IN; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Mr. Mullins died Monday, October 6 in Melbourne. He was a heavy equipment operator, a construction worker, and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Born July 25, 1960, in Quincy, IL, he was the son of Thomas Landon and Doris Ann (Herrick) Mullins of Livingston. He was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Mullins.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a son, Willard Landon Mullins of Livingston; two daughters, Ashley Brynn Bray and her husband, Wesley, and Hayley Kye Mullins, all of Livingston; his fiancˇe, Patricia Karlson of Melbourne; a brother, Scott Mullins and his wife, Lisa, of Livingston; a sister, Kim Hill and her husband, Tony, of Livingston; two nieces, Tara Mullins and Miranda Hill; and two nephews, Jared Mullins and Anthony Hill.

Mr. Phillips died Saturday, October 4 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was retired from the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II.
Born December 11, 1923, in Lake City, FL, he was the son of the late Randolph and Mabel (Arnold) Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Carolyn Phillips of Livingston; two daughters, Cindy Johns of Livingston and Karren Phillips of Huntsville, AL; three sons, George Phillips Jr. of LaQuinta, CA, Dennis Phillips of Cavanua, WI, and Stanley Johns of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
