HOLLOWAY, Vera Mae, age 79 of Huntland died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Shelbyville and was a homemaker. Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her husband, P.T. Holloway, Sr.; a son, P.T. Holloway, Jr.; two brothers; and a sister. She is survived by two daughters, Marti Fate of Grants Pass, Oregon and Patricia Ann Van Etten of Leesburg, Fla.; a son, Gregg (Sarah) Holloway of Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Virginia Waggoner of Huntland; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at 6 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Barger officiating. Interment was in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Huntland. HOLLOWAY, Kayola Perkins, age 60 of Cowan died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. She was born in Winchester and was a teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling L. Perkins and Isabell Shepherd Perkins. She is survived by a brother, Sterling Perkins, Jr. of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Sunday Perkins of Winchester, Kim Perkins Wiseman of Atlanta, Ga. and Haydiee Perkins Burkes of Avon Lake, Ohio; and an uncle, Thomas Shepherd of Cowan. JACKSON, Lois Myrtle, age 79 of Estill Springs died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 at Mountain View Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Princeton, Ala., the daughter of the late Benjamin Sanders and Myrtle Daboise Sanders. She was a homemaker and is survived by her husband, William Jackson of Estill Springs; a daughter, Vanda (William) Jessee of Estill Springs; three sisters, Loretta Newby of Dothan, Ala., Laneva McKenzie of Huntsville, Ala. and Delene Hirlston of Lebanon; grandchildren James and William Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Nichole, Trisha, Billy and Adam Morgan. Visitation was held Friday, Oct. 27, 2006 at 5 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester. COLBERT, Wilma Jeanette, age 71 of Belvidere died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. She was born in Lincoln County, the daughter of James Tilman Rich and Mattie Belle Pickett Rich. She was a registered nurse and was a member of the Belvidere Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Belvidere. Mrs. Colbert graduated from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 1956. She worked 30 years for the State of Tennessee Health Departments, serving three years as Regional Supervisor. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colbert was preceded in death by her sister, Elinda Rich Colbert. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Colbert of Belvidere; son, Richard Lynn (Jamie) Colbert of Belvidere; brother, Walton L. (Mary) Rich of Winchester; two grandsons, Chas D. McBee and Richard C. Colbert, both of Belvidere; two nieces, Geraldine Syler of Dallas, Texas and Linda Lovvorn of Knoxville. Visitation was held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at 5 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Rev. Elmer Alverson officiating. Interment was in the Maxwell Cemetery in Belvidere. ELLIS, Annie Elizabeth, age 59 of Sewanee died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006 at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. She was born in Cowan, the daughter of the late Norman and Mary Etta Morris. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ellis was preceded in death by a son, Ken Ellis; sister, Bessie Morris; and father and mother-in-law, Bill and Mary Ellis. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ellis of Sewanee; a son, Tim (Sue) Garner of Sewanee; a daughter, Mary Beth (Mark) Tytus of Roselle, Ill.; daughter-in-law, Val Ellis of Bakersfield, Calif.; six sisters, Jean Morris, Jannie Throneberry and Mary (Herschel) Tatum, all of Winchester and Brenda (Jackie) Johnson, Roxy Johnson and Kathryn Posey, all of Cowan; grandchildren, April McElhenie of Lynchburg, Va., James Ellis of Bakersfield, Calif., Zackrey, Austin and Mitchell Garner of Sewanee, Anna and Luke Tytus of Roselle, Ill.; and great-grandchild, Justin McElhenie of Lynchburg, Va. BOHANAN, James H., Sr., age 76 of Cowan died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006 at St. Thomas Hospital. He was born in Cowan, the son of the late Henry and Gladys Bohanan. Mr. Bohanan was retired from the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter Bohanan and Jerry Welch. He is survived by his wife, Velma Bohanan of Cowan; a son, James H. (Patricia) Bohanan, Jr. of Aubrey, Texas; two sisters, Clara Margaret Stewart and Gertrude Robins; grandchildren, Crystal, Jessica, Jerry and T.J.; great-grandchildren, Paige, Mason and Leila; and several nieces and nephews. CROWNOVER, William, age 102 years and 17 days, died Friday, Oct. 27, 2006 in Nashville. He was born in Anderson, the son of the late William Solomon and Elizabeth Kelley Crownover. He was a Chief Dispatcher last employed by Union Pacific Railroad. In addition to his parents, Mr. Crownover was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Buchanan Crownover; sister, Elizabeth Campbell; and brothers, John "Jady" Crownover, Richard "Dick" Crownover, George Crownover, Walter Crownover and Kelley Crownover. Mr. Crownover is survived by a sister, Claudia Crownover Shanks of Nashville and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at 5 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester. Graveside funeral services and interment was conducted Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Crownover Cemetery in Anderson. SCHMITZ, Judith E., age 65, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 13, 2006 at home after a two-year battle with cancer. A resident of Huntsville, Ala. since 1967, and part-time resident of Franklin County since 1994, Judith was born May 5, 1941 in Ft. Lewis, Wash. to Bill and Jean Lyon, and graduated from Fenger High School, Chicago, Ill. in 1959. She married Ronald Schmitz on Nov. 7, 1959 and joined him in Salt Lake City, Utah where their children were born. Judith and family relocated to Huntsville, Ala. in 1967 and became longtime members of the Grace Lutheran Church. Judith was a loving friend and wife, mother and grandmother, caregiver and letter writer, hostess and chef. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronald Schmitz of Huntsville, Ala.; mother Jean Lyon and father Bill Lyon of Lakeview Ark.; brother Kenneth Lyon of Eagle River Wisc.; son Craig and wife Lynn of Winchester; son Kurt and wife Margaret of Colleyville, Texas; daughter Heidi and husband David Sack of Illiopolis Ill; and grandchildren Ashleigh, Mark, Sam, William, Bethany, Matthew, Rebekah and Jonathan. For 30 years she brightened the lives of fellow Hunstvillians as a floral arranger at Albert’s Flowers, Flowers with Love, Every Blooming Thing and most recently at Country Home Florist. Judith was also part owner of Flowers with Love. From friendly card games, to picking wild blackberries; from little league baseball games to dance recitals and breakfast at Gibson's, Judith lovingly wove family and friends into her tapestry of life. A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Huntsville, on Oct. 29, 2006 at 3 p.m. Memorials may be made in Judith’s name to Grace Lutheran School in Huntsville.

LIMBAUGH, Inez Medders, age 96 of Winchester died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 at Sunbridge Care for Winchester. She was born in Rome, Ga., the daughter of the late Thomas Neal Medders and Isabel Stroud Medders. She was a beautician. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Limbaugh was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Limbaugh. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Medders of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great-nephews. Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 at noon at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester. Graveside funeral services and interment were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Franklin Memorial Gardens in Winchester. Memorial contributions may be given to the Winchester Church of Christ Scholarship Fund. REAGAN, Vivian Mae, age 91 of Huntland died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. She was born in Madison County, Ala., the daughter of the late John Story and Annie Hicks Story. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reagan was preceded in death by a great-great-granddaughter, Stephanie McElyea. She is survived by a son, Joe Reagan of Huntland; two daughters, Imogene (Frank Jr.) McElyea of Belvidere and Gloria Stovall of Huntland; grandchildren, Theresa (John) Anderson, Angie (Ed) Buckner, Steve (Deanna) McElyea, Stanley (Melissa) McElyea, Todd (Holly) Stovall, Tina (Allan) Gardner and Sherry Reagan; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Visitation was held Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 at 5 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Plunkett officiating. Interment was in the Elora Cemetery in Elora. Mrs. Swinford is survived by her husband, John Lee Swinford of Estill Springs; two sons, Stephen Ray (Pamela) George of Tullahoma and Jonathan Lee Swinford of Estill Springs; mother, Louise George of Belvidere; four sisters; maternal grandmother, Lula Money of Belvidere; and two grandchildren, Trevor Blake George and Auna Ray George. MARLOW, Glen Hollis, Sr., age 76 of Atlantic St., Tullahoma, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2006 at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. Mr. Marlow was a farmer. He is survived by sons, Glen "Buster" Marlow, Jr. and wife, Melissa of Estill Springs and Jimmy Marlow of Vernon, Fla.; two daughters, Nancy Diane Vickers and husband Neal of Manchester and Debra Ann Marlow of Murfreesboro; and a sister, Hortense Weinhold of Tullahoma. SINCLAIR, Emma, age 87 of Decherd, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006 at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. She was born in Republic, Pa. and worked as a secretary. Mrs. Sinclair was preceded in death by her parents, James Walker Lawson and Addie Gert Lawson; husband, Thomas Sinclair; and two brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Sinclair of Decherd; a son, Daryl (Trellis) Sinclair of Decherd; two brothers, Lowell Lawson of Penn-Craft, Pa. and George Lawson of Parkersburg, W.V.; granddaughter, Addie Sinclair of Decherd; and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Sherwood, the son of the late Paul Wilson Perry and Minnie Garner Perry. He was a dye machine operator last employed by the Hat Corporation. Mr. Perry is survived by his wife, Marie Perry of Sherwood; a daughter, Dorothy Holt of Manchester; a son, Donnie Perry of Sherwood; a sister, Callie Hornbuckle of Huntsville, Ala.; two brothers, Berlin Perry of Sherwood and Curtis Perry of Huntsville, Ala.; and three grandchildren, Jade Johnson, Dylan Johnson and Andre Holt.
