ROGERSVILLE - Ralph Kermit Williams, 58, of 110 Stanley Valley Rd., Rogersville, went to be with the Lord Sunday (March 6, 2005) at Wellmont Hawkins County Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Williams; brother, Donald Williams; and sister, Janice Williams.
Survivors include his mother, Maggie Williams; sister, Edith and Mike Neirkerk of Fayetteville, Tenn.; brothers, Burl and Rosa Williams of Surgoinsville, Darryl and Debbie Williams of Surgoinsville; two nephews, nine nieces, and one great-great- nephew.

Bruce P. Bloomer Sr., 84, Church Hill.
CHURCH HILL - Bruce P. Bloomer Sr., 84, of Ripley Lane, went home to be with the Lord late Friday afternoon (March 4, 2005) at Bristol Hospice House.
He was born in Fairview, Va., (England Valley) but had spent the majority of his life in the Ross Campground community.
Mr. Bloomer had served in the U.S. Army in Pearl Harbor in 1942. He belonged to the Charles DeWitt Byrd VFW Post # 3382 and the American Legion Hammond Post # 3 with more than 50 years as a member.
Bruce Bloomer was active with the Boy Scouts troop # 148 located at the Ross Campground community. Mr. Bloomer had founded and owned Bloomer's Jewelers until his retirement in 1988. During this time he was a member of the watchmakers association.
He was a member of Ross Campground United Methodist Church for 40 years where he held offices of treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and sang in the church choir. Mr. Bloomer was also an avid supporter of the Salvation Army.
Bruce loved the outdoors where he loved fishing, loved boating, loved camping and especially loved to garden.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Eric Sensabaugh; his parents, Garfield and Rettie Lyons Bloomer; his sisters, Geneva Bloomer, Giula Waylock, Ona Rhoten, Lelia Vanzant, Monnie Parsons; his brothers, Frank Bloomer, James Bloomer and Harold Bloomer.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Spears Bloomer; his four daughters, Wanda Sensabaugh and her husband, Donnie, Betty Whitson and her husband, Herbert, Barbara Sword and her husband, Billy, all of Church Hill, Tereesa Lane and her husband, Johnny, Copper Ridge, Va.; two sons, Bruce P. Bloomer Jr. and his wife, Ada, Church Hill, and Rick Bloomer and his wife, Becky, Laurinburg, N.C.; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vernice Barker, Church Hill, and Francis Jennings, Gate City; along with several nieces and nephews, his special pet, "Nickel, " and a host of friends.

Roxie Hensley Brooks, 96, Kingsport.
KINGSPORT - Mrs. Roxie Adeline Hensley Brooks, 96, died Friday (March 4, 2005) at the Wexford House.
Mrs. Brooks made her home with her daughter in Kingsport. She was a native of Middlesboro, Ky., and made her home in Mulberry, Ind., from the early 1940s until the late 1990s.
She was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church and had been a Sunday School teacher for several years.
She was the daughter of the late Herman and Rinda Noe Hensley and was also preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Brooks in 1972.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Owings, Kingsport; a son, David Harold Brooks, West Lafayette, Ind.; six grandchildren, Charles Brooks, Maryville, Tenn., Martha Lawson and Mary Beth Strickler, both of Kingsport, David H. Brooks II, Lafayette, Ind., Evelyn (Sissy) Brooks, Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Amanda Brooks, West Lafayette, Ind.; eight great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday (March 13, 2005) at Kendricks Creek United Methodist Church in Kingsport with the Rev. John Hackney officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in West Lafayette, Ind., at a later date.

She was born in Omaha, Neb., on Feb. 26, 1928. She had been a resident of Kingsport since 1963.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Thomas Brandon and Bernice Brandon; five sisters and one brother.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Harlan J. Fraser; two daughters, Debbie Fry and husband, Bill of Burlington, Ky., and Karen Fraser of Kingsport; three sons, Ronald "Red" Fraser and wife, Marina of Kingsport, Randy Fraser of Kingsport, and Brad Fraser and wife, Amy of Knoxville; eight grandchildren, Lauri Kleineick of Kingsport, Terry Joe Kleineick and wife, Katie of Gray, Chris Fraser and wife, Alaina of Church Hill, Sarah Fraser of Kingsport, Brandi, Noah, Amelia and Alyssa Fraser of Knoxville.
