Bonnie C. Bartlett
Date: May 25th, 1909 - February 18th, 2007
Obituary: Bartlett – Bonnie C., 97, of Apison, TN died Monday, February 19, 2007 in a local hospital. A lifelong resident of Apison, she was a member of Apison Baptist Church. Miss Bartlett was retired from Dixie Yarns after 25 years of service. She was a caregiver for many of her family members after her retirement. She was the daughter of the late Lee and Pearl Bartlett and was preceded in death by her sisters, Nina Ware and Jimmie Seymore and her brothers, Homer and Lat Bartlett. Survivors are her brother and sister in law, Curtis and Grace Bartlett of Chattanooga; sister and brother in law, Earline and Joe Roberts, Pisgah, Alabama; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 am in the chapel with Rev. C.E. Blevins and Rev. Leroy Spinks officiating. Burial will be in Plowman Cemetery. Condolences may be sent at www.heritagefh.com The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-6 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.

James Christopher "JC" Lee
Date: August 6th, 1963 - February 19th, 2007
Obituary: J.C. Lee James Christopher Lee 43, Ooltewah, died Monday February 19, 2007. He was a lifelong resident of the Ooltewah and North Georgia area. Mr. Lee was a graduate of the Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School and was of the Baptist Faith. He was a former employee of McKee Baking Company. Mr. Lee was a grandson of the late Ira and Rose Lee. Survivors are three sons Derek, Dustin and Dylan Lee; parents James C. and Mary Lee ; brother and sister-in-law Jeffrey and Anita Lee all of Ooltewah; grandmother Bonnie Gill, grandfather Arnold Gill of Rossville; Special Uncle and Aunt Larry and Joyce Lee of Fort Oglethorpe; two nieces Jessica and Kaitlin. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Denny Manning and the Rev. Sanford DeBerry officiating. Interment will be in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park. Geneva Crane
Date: October 17th, 1927 - February 20th, 2007
Obituary: Crane – Geneva C., 79, of Ooltewah, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2007. A lifelong resident of Ooltewah, she was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and a member of the Pine Ridge Joy Club. Mrs. Crane was retired from Cutter Laboratories after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Douglas Crane, son, James Darrow Crane, and step-daughter, Connie Crane Tatum She is survived by one son, Curtis (Debbie) Crane, of Ringgold, GA, one Daughter, Vivian ( Paul) Crane Dills also of Ringgold, GA, grandchildren; Danielle Stafford, Wesley Crane, Shane Mongar, Sarah Nelson, Brandis Studdard, Jamie Crane, Shannon Crane, Kevin Crane and great-grandchildren; Rachel Stafford, Mei Nelson, and Calliope Nelson, Sisters, Ruby Varnell, Fannie Varnell, and Peggy Bonine. Also preceded in death by two brothers; Troy and Earl Chambers and two sisters Johnnie McDaniel and Lyda Parker. Services will be held Friday at 2 pm in the chapel with Pastor Sam Cravatt and Pastor Lee Peters officiating Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens East with Shane Mongar, Wesley Crane, Rick Studdard, Ian Nelson, Buddy Bonine, and David McDaniel serving as pallbearers. Dr. Harold Ronald Smith

Obituary: Dr. Harold Ronald Smith; 58; passed away in Washington DC Monday, February 12, 2007. Dr. Smith was born in Dayton, TN and lived in Chattanooga for 24 years. He was a graduate of Red Bank High School, graduate of UTC, and received his doctorate from UTK. He has lived in Washington DC for the past 33 years and was a Research Psychologist with the U.S. Department of Interior. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold S. Smith. He is survived by his mother, Gertrude Smith; sister, Jan Veal; niece, Sarah Veal; nephew, Josh Veal, all of Ooltewah; and his special dog, Winston. Memorial services will be held 2 P.M. Friday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Rhuling officiating. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga North Georgia area and was a member of Lighthouse of the Word Ministries on Carline Dr. She is preceded in death by parents Howard and Ida Judge, brother Harold Judge, and sister Opal Anderson. Survivors are husband of 36 years, Leonard Donald Steele Sr.; sons, Charles and Kenneth Darr, and Leonard Steele Jr.; daughters, Janet Gray and Debbie Prater; brothers, Vernon and Bill “Shorty” Judge; grandchildren, Michael Steele, Jamie Smith, Jessica Darr, Chris Darr, Heather Darr, Linda Tappen, Emily Foster, Patrick Foster, and Wade Townsend; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Joshua Darr, Matthew Steele, Matthew and Makenzie Smith, Marlee Townsend and several nieces and nephews.
