PINEY FLATS - Scottie Webb, 48, passed away Monday (Oct. 24, 2005).
He was a native and lifelong resident of Sullivan County. He was employed in the maintenance department of Sullivan County School Board.
He was an avid animal lover and was a member of Blountville Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernie P. Webb.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Edwards Webb of Blountville; one daughter, Tiffany Webb of Kingsport; four sisters, Cathy Harsch of Atlanta, Ga., Vicki Hubbs, Connie Jones, and Patty Webb Greene, all of Blountville; one brother, David Webb of Blountville; two nieces, Jennifer Ramsey of Fayetteville, Ark., and Stephanie Leonard of Kingsport; and two nephews, Matt Webb of Kingsport and Wes Harsch of Atlanta, Ga.

Franklin Delanor White, 65, Kingsport.
KINGSPORT - Franklin Delanor White, 65, devoted husband, dad, grandfather and friend, entered into eternal rest after a prolonged battle with cancer. He passed away at home on Saturday (Oct. 22, 2005).
He was retired from Eastman Chemical after 33 years of service, a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #972, Moose Lodge of Greeneville #692, Eagles on Stone Drive, Aerie #3141 and Legion Loyal Order of the Moose #972. He had special interest for and a love of golf, motorcycles and bowling. He coached the Sullivan Optimist Little League baseball, basketball and football teams.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar White and Rosa Adams White; brother, James White; and great-granddaughter, Morgan D. White.
Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Nora Lockhart White; daughters, Teresa L. Light, Cindy D. White, Monika Burgess and special friend Raul Orozco, Robin Waters and husband Beau; a son, Tony F. White; sisters, Katherine Smith and husband Howard, Patty Baines, Debbie White, Sherry Thornberry and husband Russ, and Linda Frazier and husband Freddie; brothers, Sonny White and Michael White; grandsons, Cruz Burgess, Jamie White, Matthew White, Ryan White, Dustin White, Cody Roberts and Austin Johnson; granddaughters, Erica Estep and husband Kevin, Amanda Weber, Layne Jones, Jessica Light, Sierra Waters, Kayla White, Marina Waters, Cameo Waters, Casey White, and Elizabeth White; great-grandchildren, Ethan Estep, Kyah Jones and Megan Weber; special friend and nephew, Allen White; and several nieces and nephews.

Mildred McCary White, Kingsport.
KINGSPORT - Mildred McCary White died unexpectedly at home in Kingsport on Sunday (Oct. 23, 2005).
She was born in Princeton, W.Va., on April 10, 1922 and moved to Bristol, Tenn., in 1926. She married
James Keene White in Bristol on July 20, 1941.
She was a full-time mother and homemaker, and attended Waverly Road Presbyterian Church, serving as a Sunday School teacher and nursery caregiver. She had been active in Meals On Wheels since 1976, served as a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout Den mother, and had been active in the Senior Center sports program, winning numerous medals in the Senior Olympics.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Beulah Vance McCary and H.B. McCary; and son, James Keene White; brother, H.B. McCary Jr.; and sister, Margaret M. Phipps.
Surviving are her husband, James Keene White, Kingsport; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Elizabeth and Donald L. Fox, Pinehurst, N.C., Carolyn Ann and William K. Bailey, Kingsport; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert William and Sheila Callahan White, Buford, Ga., Richard Henry and Anne Ton White, Folsom, Calif., Diana Morgan White, Madisonville, Tex.; grandchildren and spouses, Lee and Kelly Fox, Greensboro, N.C., Jonathan and Andrea White, Mt. GRAY - Harry F. Wiesehahn, 93, passed away Sunday (Oct. 23, 2005) at Johnson City Medical Center Hospital after a short illness.
He was a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and had lived in this area for a number of years. He was a member of Boones Creek Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma in February 1996; and his parents, Harry H. Wiesehahn and Bessie Bosse.
He is survived by one daughter, Nancy Fitzpatrick of Kingsport; three grandsons, Scott Fitzpatrick, Todd and Amy Fitzpatrick, and David and Karen Fitzpatrick; one great-grandson, Solomon Fitzpatrick.
Private services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. today at Gray Funeral Home.
Entombment will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville.

ROGERSVILLE - Kenneth Oniel Boggs, 69, went home to be with the Lord Saturday (Oct. 22, 2005) at his residence in Rogersville.
Mr. Boggs was of the Christian faith.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a graduate of Fresno State College. He owned and operated several tile and carpenter businesses. He retired to Rogersville and built his own home.
He will always be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help others. His family and friends lost a wonderful husband, son, friend and brother.
Mr. Boggs was preceded in death by his father, Medford Boggs; and daughter, Stacy Boggs.

EWING, Va. - Robert Brock Sr., 69, was born on June 30, 1936 and passed away on Saturday (Oct. 22, 2005) at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
He was retired from the Middlesboro Tanning Company where he worked for 21 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Ruth Etta Brock, who passed away on March 9, 2005; parents, Finley and Sarah Brock; and brothers, Harley, Willie and Charlie Brock.

Elsie Frost Dean, 78, Kingsport.
KINGSPORT - Elsie Beatrice Castle Frost Dean, 78, was carried home by the angels to be with the Lord, on Friday morning (Oct. 21, 2005) after an extended battle with cancer.
Mrs. Dean was born on Chestnut Ridge above Kyles Ford in Hancock County on March 15, 1927. She was a lifelong member of the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Hancock County and had faithfully attended Pleasant View Baptist Church in Kingsport for over 45 years.
Throughout the years, Ms. Dean had worked at the Eastman Kodak Company and J.P. Stevens Textiles before retiring from Holston Valley Community Hospital. Ms. Dean was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #198.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Stella Burchette Castle and William "Harmon" Castle; both her husbands, Odell Clay Frost and William Craft "Bill" Dean; her brother, James R. "Jim" Castle; and two stepsons, Donald Dean and Jimmy Dean.
Surviving are her children, Gilda Fields and her husband Donald, Alanna Ferrell and Bruce Vincent, Shawn Frost and his wife Tina, Scarlot Frost and Keith Cox; and stepdaughter, Patty Waddell of Lyle, Tenn. Elsie had 13 grandchildren, Wesley Fields, Jessica Fields, Kevin Ferrell, Chad Ferrell and wife Holly, Laura Tremblay and husband Gary, Brandon Manuel, Terrence Manuel, Edward Waddell and wife Gayle, Larry Dean, Brenda Jones, Dennis Dean, Deandra Dean and Dawn Dean. There were nine great-grandchildren, Caleb Ferrell, Ariana Carter, Tristan Tremblay, Cannon Ferrell, Brandi Austin, Candi Garner, Billy Dean, Kimberly Jones and Jimmy Jones; also seven great-great-grandchildren, Dakota Austin, Elizabeth Austin, Madison Garner, Whitney Garner, Austin Garner, Cymri Higet and Briar Higet; her sister, Nina Stapleton of Dandridge; her aunt, Thelma Fields of Bean Station; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the church with her friend and pastor, Rev. Wayne Baker, officiating.

Ms. Dean will be laid to rest at 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning at the Chestnut Grove Church cemetery in Hancock County after a brief graveside ceremony presided over by Pastor Baker. Family and friends going in procession are asked to meet at the Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill, at 9:30 a.m.
Mrs. Dean's family wished to extend a very special thank you to Sara Wolfe, her daytime caregiver, and to the Wellmont Bristol Hospice staff for their loving care of their mom in her final days.

JONESBOROUGH - Gene Anthony Ellis, 39, 267 Bayless Rd., Jonesborough, died Friday (Oct. 21, 2005) at Johnson City Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident.
A native of Jonesborough, he was the son of the late George Bruce Ellis and Helen Oliver Ellis of the home. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna Ellis Lewis.
He was a loving father, son, and brother.
He was employed by TPI Corp. in Gray. He had also achieved the rank of black belt and was an assistant instructor at Jonesborough TaeKwonDo.
Survivors include, in addition to his mother, one son, Mark Anthony Ellis, Kingsport; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn Ellis, of the home, Roger and Carolyn Ellis, Gregory "Allen" and Sonja Ellis, and Gordon and Sherry Ellis, all of Jonesborough, Gerald and Pam Ellis, and Bruce and Brenda Ellis, all of Johnson City; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis Hughes, Georgia and Gary Davis, all of Jonesborough, and Gail and LeRoy Maupin of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews.

KINGSPORT - Helen Louise Evans, 61, Kingsport, reached the end of this journey on Saturday (Oct. 22, 2005) and went home to be with Jesus.
She was the very best mother, sister, nanny, and friend one could have and she will be missed tremendously.
